I am most passionate about the fictional stories that I develop and the characters that go along with them. Because of this, I inspire to become a director, producer, and/or a scriptwriter for my own series rather than an author, but that’s another goal, too. My passion for creative writing stemmed from fourth grade, where I saw my group of friends and I as heroes, saving the world and conquering evil. Although I am no longer in contact with most of them, I still continue to develop the characters I based off of them to shape their own unique personalities and paths. Practically, all of my characters were based mostly off of my own experiences with people, characters from television series, real-life places, and more. I immediately brighten up a little with any mention of creative writing because I feel as if someone recognizes that my talent exists, even if indirectly. If I’m having fun, and there’s no harm being done, …show more content…
I know that having a future means that I will move forward in time, but the rest is unknown. It’s a good thing, though, because that way, the mystery serves as motivation for me to work harder, even if it’s just to see what my life will turn out to be. I see the best part of having a future is just knowing that you can reach higher and bigger goals in life, meet new people, acquire more information, etc. A “future” is a little ambiguous to me. Just thinking about it, however, gets me hyped up because I already have high hopes for myself! I have an idea of what I want to do and am excited to get out there in the real world. What scares some being asked of their futures is because of their fear of the unknown. However, as time passes, every decision piles up into making who they are as a person; after all, everyone’s been saying that futures are shaped by their owners. That, and the concept of the unknown, makes the “future” such a common topic among anyone and everyone, thus granting me much curiosity about
This concept is used because the future is unknown. There are no rules, no limits, and nothing to hold back the writer’s imagination. Several science fiction novels use this to their advantage. In the novel “Anthem,” written by Ayn Rand in 1937, it never states what year it is set in - only that it is a far away future. In this society, men and women are separated and not allowed to live life freely; every decision is made for them, even their individuality.
One thing is definite. No matter what, everything seems to fall into place eventually. The concept of fate is really interesting and intriguing. You just happen to hit every red light and didn’t make your appointment on time only to hear about how the building was engulfed in flames or you decide to visit a different coffee shoppe one day and meet the love of your life. We never know what will take place during our lifetime.
We each create our own future. The Bullet, published by Simon and Schuster, is available in hardback, paperback, eBook, and audio on Amazon and other book
Ray Bradbury is a renowned author famous for his short science fiction stories and his novel "Fahrenheit 421". His works have inspired many and raised numerous questions about what the future may hold. He's quoted as saying "I don't try to describe the future. I try to prevent it." (Bradbury), and in many ways you can see the motif of this mindset in his work.
Before we're born, our lives are foretold. We're woven through puzzles until we're placed correctly, and we wait till our time comes. Our choices, actions, and beliefs are predicted by the Gods. Our blueprints are engraved in stone -- destined to follow their paths perfectly. Every step is planned, and every future is known.
The future. Human nature doesn't now what will happen. But the man that shows us this is Charles E. Finch, writer of The Cog, he illuminates in the reader's eyes that they should expect the unexpected in the near future. Although some people may argue that when they plan for the future they will have a better life, but everyone has to watch out for the bumps that life can bring you. When people travel travel through life they hit road bumps that cause a goal in their life unachievable.
So the next time you wonder about the future, think about your past and you may be
Having my high school at the AP program established under SCNU was always one of my luckiest things happened to me. At here, I was trained to be priorly familiar with the U.S. education system and successful after coming to the U.S. where all the students were supposed to go. In order to be prepared, I was trained to write different kinds of essays, including laboratory report, social science research paper and literature expository writing. I have started to write all these kinds of essays since grade 10, and every writing assignment has gone through the process of outlining, drafting, peer proofreading and editing. At college, my writing style hasn’t really changed, yet, the way I write an essay has changed.
My history as a writer has been a bit of a struggle of slow development. From a young age I had a hard time with spelling and this is still a trouble area for me, even with the help of autocorrect. As I grew in age and as a writer my problematic area became not including enough nitty gritty details. My bad experiences that I recall would always involve the start of writing because I struggle with beginning paragraphs. Also, I tend to use the ending paragraph to just repeat myself, so overall my first and last paragraphs are usually shit.
In the future after a year has gone by I want to be more mature, and in three years when I’m in tenth grade I want to challenge myself and try to get good grades. In five years when I’m in twelfth grade I want to graduate High School and find a college I want to go to and what I want to do later in life, and in ten years I want to be in college,
Picture this: you just get home from a long day of work or school and as you approach your front door, your security system senses you and the door automatically unlocks, interior lights turn on, and even when you walk in, your playlist begins to play through your surround sound system. With all the technology we have today and will gain in the future, all of this will be possible- including so much more. People who study or make thoughts and predictions about the future are called Futurists. Futurists spend most of their time studying what life on Earth will be like in the future, like homes, jobs, nature, education, and more. They try and figure out all the things that could happen to our world as the years go by-good and bad.
I enjoy writing, exploring the many combinations of words you can mash-up together forming a unique story, drawn to the many forms of writing you can choose to create. I have a grasp of the English language, however I am nowhere near my goal of being the best writer I can possibly be. Someday I may hope to publish a book of poems whether
The first half of this semester was swift and I can’t believe how fast it passed by. College is a whole new world for me that I had never imagined with a lot of new experiences that I hope will shift me into a better and smarter person. There are more things I can do in college that I would have never dared to do in high school and I am happy for these new freedoms. I am able to eat in class, leave class without asking and they don’t care if I pay attention or not. My high school teachers would always tell me to wait for the bell, sometimes would not let me leave and if I did not pay attention they would yell.
My future Have you ever wondered what the outcome of your future will be? Well I think about it all the time. It all boils down to our possible selves. In psychology, possible selves refers to the ideal self (which is the person that you would like to become). Some people might be afraid of what they will become or who they might become because of their past experiences.
Our future starts today, we now get to discover our true passion in life. We must live life with zealousness and do what each of us loves. The future will be so much more brighter and full of more success. Time may fly by, but you have the decision on what you will conquer during that period of time.
