My teacher never reminded me or told me multiple times to do my work. In the end my work is my own reasonability I should keep up with my own work. Another example is behavior as young adult student the behavior should reflect one of an adult. As a high school student, you are not a child any more fighting and talking back is not acceptable. At Spartanburg high, there is a zero tolerance policy no cursing or fighting as well as getting in school suspension for talking back or defiance of a teacher.
Narrative Essay Sometimes I wonder why some people are mean to others by their appearance or ethnicity. One time I learned that not everyone sees you the same, when I heard students in class saying people wanted to fight Latinos after school, when a random person hit me and when I realized that I wasn 't going to let what happened to me affect me for the rest of my life. It all started, in middle school when I learned that not everyone sees you the same. I was in math class doing my work when all of a sudden I hear two girls saying how they wanted to walk out of school or call their parents to pick them up. They started telling us that African Americans were going to fight Latinos afterschool.
The Turning Point that Melba faced, was when she was walking up the steps into Central High school were angry segregationist mobs had forbidden her and other students to go. As stated in the text,”We stepped up the front door of Central High School and crossed the threshold to that place where angry segregationist mobs had forbidden us to go.”(Beals,37) The way Melba adapted to this Turning Point was that she accepted what was happening to her. Melba made a connection with my thesis because of her actions and everything that was happening to to her made a big impact on her
Today was going to be my first day of school and I was quite nervous. I knew I wasn’t going to meet any of my friends in Vietnam wasn’t going to be in my school but I hoped for the best. I then walked in class and my teacher introduced me to the whole class.like I just moved from state to a state even though I literally just moved countries. She placed me in seat with a person name “Jake”. Jake was vietnamese just like me so I felt comfortable sitting next to him.I then asked ,"Do you speak Vietnamese"?
I enrolled in college not knowing what exactly to expect and with many doubts but by taking that gigantic leap out of my comfort zone, my life has changed drastically. In high school, I was never the type of student to strive for A’s or to be on the honor roll. They’re lazy, unmotivated, and showed to be very rude in some parts of the book. The Ewell family never went to school, besides the first day. One of Bob’s sons, Burris was in Scout’s first grade class, but only came the first day and caused quite a scene. Burris got upset with the teacher and called her all sorts of rude names. He didn’t feel bad about it at all afterwards, as Scout tells us, “He waited until he was sure she was crying, then he shuffled out of the building.” This family doesn’t have a lot of wisdom in them, they don’t have the best life, but none of them will work so it really is their fault for their situation.
So I enrolled in a school, it was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life but it was not. At the beginning of school year, I did not have any friends and to make it worse, I got bullied. They bullied me on how I dressed especially my accent. Females even males were picking a fight with me. I wanted to tell my mom but I did not want her to worry.
