The place where I live is the Hudson Valley, I have lived here my entire life. I was born in Poughkeepsie, lived in Fishkill for two years and moved to Beacon where ironically the street name is Fishkill Landing. The Hudson valley is a beautiful place to live. The valleys and the historic Hudson River provide a perfect backdrop to any photograph. People are surrounded by the gorgeous foliage wherever they go. Each season can be a mystery to the people that live here, the surprises they bring will either be pleasant or hostile. We never know if the winters will be extremely cold or if the summers will be sizzling hot. Spring and fall are the only seasons that remain the same every year. In the spring the trees that were once bare are budding
As a person goes through life he or she may wonder “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?” The objective of this paper is to allow me to reflect and critically analyze who I am as a person. In this paper, I will discuss my social location and identity, my life experiences and my privileges and disadvantages.
Hi Yasna, It 's Samantha, the associate you interviewed Friday for sales lead. Sorry for the extremely late email, this is the first chance I 've gotten to write you. Today I went by Children 's Place at Eastridge, and spoke with Diana. You had asked me to see what I noticed that was different from Eastridge and Valley Fair, and the first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how much smaller the store is compared to Valley Fair. I also noticed how there is less traffic coming through at Eastridge then there is at Valley fair.
Josh: The New England Colonies is a great place to live and this is why you should live here. Payton: The geography is great because there are large mountains with abundant trees. Josh: And trade routes are great with the Atlantic Ocean in such close access.
In summary, on 09/21/15 at 0418 hours I was patrolling the area of 1600 S. Laramie Ave., at which time I observed a male subject with a youthful appearance walking northbound 16th Street. I made contact with the subject, at which time he identified himself as (Rosas, Alexis DOB 04/21/97). While speaking with Rosas, I detected a strong odor of fresh cannabis emanating from his person. Rosas related he had some cannabis in his sweater pocket. I recovered a silver box containing a green leafy substance from Rosas ' right sweater pocket.
Today was the day. We were finally going to do it. We were finally going to have enough money. My family have been so desperate. We need money because my father lost his job, so our parents bought me and my little sister, Annabelle, tickets with the only money we have to Italy so our grandmother can give us enough money to live in England.

I have lived in East Oakland my whole life. To the majority of people, the mention of East Oakland evokes thoughts of violence, shootings, and gangs. I was one of the people who believed in these stereotypes, and for a particularly long time. I was one of the people who saw Oakland as a wasteland, a place with nothing to offer me, and a place I had nothing to offer to.
5 years ago, one fresh midnight, arrived to a new place in Atlanta Georgia that our life forever changed. There were plenty of cars, trees, and building. It is fairly cold and the wind is blowing like the tree arms dance. Many lights that can be seen shine through the windows of buildings at night time. It quiet outside.
The “hood” is often what downtown, Elizabeth NJ is labeled as. Children like me are doubted as many people seem to believe we will just become another statistic. My background has motivated to strive for success, proving those with agnosticism wrong. Seeing bodies strung out on the corner or laying on the sidewalk is a part of my everyday life. I’m not ashamed of where I come from as it has made me who I am today.
Over the years I have experienced countless history classes as well as watched and read what feels like thousands of news reports that address conflicts and disasters outside and inside of the United States. As I got older I realized that living in this country has presented us with many opportunities to better our lives and to accomplish our goals, but unfortunately not everyone can live in the United States. I have been told I am privileged with more advantages and opportunities than most others all my life; meanwhile there are people in other countries that are suffering hardships I can’t begin to imagine. I can go and buy the miscellaneous supplies I need from Target, I don’t have to wonder when my next meal will be presented to me, and
Beep, beep, beep, “boys get up it is time for schools” words spoken every single school day i have ever experienced by the mother of all my brothers and I. Toledo a city ranked 54th on top 100 most dangerous cities, and a 26.3% poverty rating. Growing up in Toledo, and the city of Bowling Green, Ohio can be difficult and very stressful. A single mother, in a very low income household. Where everything is earned and nothing is given, lessons taught by my father at a young age. Growing up in two different cities my family and I had to grow up fast.
Before I achieved victory in becoming the person to earn riches and to eradicate the humanoids, it was a normal American Suburban Life for me. I was a middle class kid who went to a private school, got good grades, had lots of friend and well, was an all american boy. I have brown hair, black eyes, average height, about 140 pounds and was in high school, sophomore and I guess you can say fit. Anyway...
Throughout the 25 minute bus ride, I could feel the nerves radiating off of the 30 something teens and adults. We quickly learned to savor these bus rides, no matter how uncomfortable, as they provided the only escape from the Jamaican heat and humidity, that hung over us heavily wherever we went. Rolling into the village, the first person we saw was a boy, no more than 13 years old, flipping us off while smoking a joint. Looking at those sitting around me, I could see the surprise and astonishment, as well as apprehension towards how the rest of the people living in the small town would act and how receptive they would be to us being there. Stepping off of the bus, the humidity hit me like a wall.
Imagine a cool breeze, leaves rustling on the ground, and the hot tea or a beverage of your choice in your hands as you stand taking in all these sights and sounds and you know that it is Fall. As a season, it is amazing. The falling of the red, brown, and yellow colored leaves, cold weather and the warm comforting food, just scream Autumn. Fall is the best season of all.
As I was walking towards the beach, the sun was beaming straight into my soul. I had the day off from work and decided to take a trip to the beach with my friend. It was a hot summer day, the forecast suggested a very hot and humid day. As I packed my essentials, I made my way to my friend’s house. We then took a while before boarding on the transportation.
