I am always friendly to new and old people who got to school in NEMS. I am always cheerful in and out of school, and I never try to show anything but cheerfulness towards people. Good character is a very good quality to have as a person, and for NJHS. I have the quality of a good character. I should be National Junior Honor Society because I have good character, citizenship, service, and leadership.
I learned how to be a responsible student in my earlier years, and school had always come relatively easy to me. As high school went on, the workload grew, but I also grew, so I was perfectly capable of keeping up with the work. This type of growth came rather easy to me. It was important for me to have one thing I could be confident with through all of the drama and chaos in my life. Growing in my community was not challenging thanks to the Live Algoma movement.
This scene showed the bonding between two people over something pulled them closer together. I was very happy that this scene was put in when it was, because it pushed me to really study it over and watch closely the rest of the way through the
Young Victor belonged to a very happy family and had an amazing life. He was smart and had many that loved him. From a young age, everyone saw potential in him due to how much he loved to learn. Instead of taking in the beauty of nature, he would first want to find out what made things tick. Everything was great for him and then one day he went to go study at Ingolstadt.
Hofstra’s mission statement affirms that its goal is “to provide a quality education to its students in an environment that encourages, nurtures, and supports learning through the free and open exchange of ideas”. After attending a conference at my high school with a Hofstra representative, I was enlightened with details that support the validity of this statement. I would describe myself as an open-minded person with a desire to broaden my education and interests. I truly believe that Hofstra University will aid me in fulfilling this goal. Psychology has always been an extremely interesting subject to me.
Surprisingly, it is a place I really do miss. I grew up in this school, entering in the year of third grade and finishing off in eighth grade. I met a lot of new people and made friends with everybody in my classes. It is a small school which made it easy to get along with my peers,
“I really love going here. I love the types of classes that we have and I love the teachers. The teachers here are so experienced and they truly are the best teachers I’ve had in my life. And even though Bowie is big, it’s easy for you to find what you want to do in school.” Deo
I have always believed there was something indescribably wonderful about being a part of a classroom of individuals who are linked together for the same purpose. That purpose is to build social connection even if they are unaware of it. I have always taken delight in encircling myself in the presence
It felt like I belonged there. I gained a lot of knowledge as an individual. I was able to help them out the kids and they ended up loving me. I received a lot of confidence and knowledge about children. Helping every day for a while helped me overcome my shyness.
During my freshman year, I had the opportunity to volunteer and help others. Before this year, I had never volunteered before, so I knew this was my opportunity to do some community service to better others. I have found through my experience that I really love to volunteer, so I will continue volunteering on my own, rather than just doing it for a class. Doing service projects is a great way to get involved with the community. There are always people and businesses looking for help, and it is usually easy to find a way to help, especially when you are in FBLA.
The benefit of being community oriented makes you feel comfortable with being at your school and makes socializing easy. Community college is a great opportunity that I am taking advantage and hope many more will see the benefits in
I was delighted after receiving the letter informing me I was eligible to become part of the National Junior Honor Society. It would be a privilege to be accepted into such a prestigious group as the one listed. The NJHS is known for helping students learn leadership skills and unlock their full potential and I firmly believe that I would love to be a part of it. Being the fun loving people person that I am I have no problem working with other kids and or adults. I have many qualities that I would love to contribute to the
Going to Brookdale was a good choice for me. First, going to Brookdale was a good choice for me because I have met good and wonderful people. I met a good professor who cares and wants to help her students succeed. And I met good students in the ALP program. Before coming to Brookdale,
Another step I took to improve my social confidence was by attending study sessions with fellow classmates where I met additional people. As I became acquainted with my fellow classmates, I felt more secure with myself. I even took the lead on group projects which turned out to be a rewarding experience. I learned that I needed to come out of my shell in order to make Bentonville my new home. Ultimately, I gained even more confidence in myself and ended up having a successful year, both academically and socially.
I was really excited to start my second year of high school. I thought it couldn 't get any better! I had all my friends in the same school and most of my classes. Since I wouldn 't be on the bottom as a freshman it was way more exciting to become a sophomore! I had great classes and the teachers were good.
