Four magical days I was in Old Town Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Mediterranean, getting acquainted with the spirit of the former Republic of Dubrovnik and the life of this city at the end of the tourist season.] Every time when I come to Dubrovnik, it feels like I am coming into a special, magical world. I do not know if this is due to the historic city walls, monuments and old houses whose stone tells distant memories of realized and unrealized loves, or because of the friendly people, their kindness and warm welcome that they give away to its guests. There are many texts and praises written about the city in the far south of the Croatia, which is called the most beautiful in the world. Words are not necessary: it is enough to look at the pictures of this paradise on earth, as George Bernard Shaw once said, and all will be clear.
