A Love That Never Dies
How many times and in how many ways do our loved ones let us know that they are near? It is a question that has been repeated over and over again and yet, there are still those who do not believe that after death our loved ones are still near us. I know that they are and that they will be there to watch over us until we meet again. I am not only talking about family members but also about friends, past loves and anyone who has closely touch our lives. We despair when they are gone but that despair should fade if we let them into our hearts and into our lives once more. The main thing is to never, ever be afraid. There is nothing to fear and what you gain is having that person you miss so much be beside you again. It doesn’t mean that they will be there all the time but at certain times you will feel, hear or just know that they are there.
Let’s look at some of the more common signs that our loved ones are near or trying to contact us:

The most important thing is to look for things like flowers growing out of season. If you get a flower sign it could mean a message from the world beyond. To understand who might be contacting you think back to the kind of flowers your loved ones especially preferred. It could be that you receive a bouquet of flowers and have no idea who sent them. Last winter I was aware of a presence quite often in my house. It was like someone following me about. Then my hubby and I went out for a winter’s walk and suddenly I saw something blue in the snow. I brushed the snow away and to my surprise saw a blue flower now wilted but it was still there under the snow. I related the song “What is Love” by Haddaway to Jimmy Cross because Jimmy loves a girl named Martha who sends him letters and flowers a while he’s in war and because of Jimmy’s love for her, he gets distracted by the thought of Martha and every time he sees one of his men die, he feels guilty. So now Jimmy is fighting between his guilt versus his love for Martha and after a long fight, he realize that he has to lose the presence of Martha and the only way to do that, is by burning the pictures and letters Martha sends to him. "When a man died, there had to be blame. Jimmy Cross understood this. You could blame the war…
When my grandma past away she was there for me even if she didn’t say anything, her presence meant something to me. In the book there is Knapp’s stages of relational
In Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the Creature that the protagonist, Victor Frankenstein creates, exhibits the same characteristics of a stalker. The Creature does not look like a normal human being and this causes people to be afraid of him. Though, like any normal human, he just wishes to be accepted. Because of his outward appearance, the creature is unable to address people directly, thus forcing him to observe society from its perimeters. He is unable to make any friends which causes him to be a very lonely being.
Depending on the opportunities granted in life, people believe that once they are successful it is someone else’s fault that they did not also choose to be successful. In Katherine Boo’s book, Behind The Beautiful Forevers, it is proven how in a big city like Mumbai not everyone is granted the same opportunities to reach a level of success. The main question that needs to be answered is who’s fault is it that the poor were not granted the same opportunities; but throughout many examples throughout the book, it is showed that the people in power in Mumbai prevented the poor from leveling up in society, even though the poor people had the ambition to be successful. In search for jobs from the Mumbai International Airport to repair a runway, people from Tamil Nadu were placed in a slum called Annawadi.
This time allows us to think of who is missing in our lives, be it a spouse, grandparent, child, sibling, friend or enemy. We can think about a literal state of being missing or a figurative state wherein someone is emotionally or socially out of our lives. Further, what does their state of missing mean to the listener? Does the listener need to go search for the missing person, pray for their physical or mental being or even write a letter to rekindle a lost relationship? Does a person’s state of missing mean that they will be missing forever or rather a short-term period?
Ludacris, a famous male singer released a song featuring Mary J. Blige in 2007 called “Runaway Love.” This song speaks for itself and Ludacris does an excellent job of portraying his message about various struggles that some people are faced with in life. Runaway Love reperents the struggle of life through hip-hop and rap music. The song portrays a story of little girls who are for instance “stuck up in a world of their own.” The people around them strictly don’t care about them, which leads them having to own up and care for themselves.
How to Live According to Irving Singer Throughout Irving Singer acclaimed trilogy, The Nature of Love, the viewer can observe how he unveils rich insight into fundamental aspects of human relationships through literature, the complexities of our being, and the history of ideas. Irving explores the distinction between wanting to be loved and wanting to love another, which ultimately originates from the moment an individual is born.
Do we really love what we do? In the article “In the Name of Love,” Miya Tokumitsu covers the issue that doing what you love (DWYL) gives false hope to the working class. Tokumitsu reviews how those who are given jobs ultimately cannot truly love what they do because of the employers who make jobs possible. These same employers keep their employees overlooked.
The small things like visiting their grave or seeing an object can bring back memories of a lost loved
Heartbreak and vengeance make the perfect cocktail for any juicy story, but so does the concept of a twisted illusion of reality. Stories of passion such as, Evona Darling written by Silas House and My Ex-Husband written by Gabriel Spera, are both examples of stories that give the reader the equation of love and hate entwined together with the tainted sense of reality. House descriptively writes a story about the passion of a mother’s love whose heart has been taken away by her child’s father, who through suspicious friends got Evona’s custody stripped away from her. On the other hand, Spera creates her poem in her perspective of being married to a man that betrayed her and played his cards of deceit. Both stories were passionately written after love had partaken, but the fairy tale ends had come upon them.

The Significance of Female Figures in Love in a Fallen City " In 1918, Lu Xun asserted that whenever the country seemed on the verge of collapse, Chinese men would thrust their women forward as sacrificial victims to obscure their own cowardice and helplessness in the face of the onslaught of aggressors and rebels" (Louie 15). Eileen Chang critiques the social status of females during the transitional period before the modern era in China throughout her novella Love in a Fallen City. Eileen Chang was influenced by the New Culture Movement in China, which promoted gender equality and education. Also, Eileen Chang 's mother who was a "self-possessed, westward-learning" (Zhang xi) female, enormously impacted her philosophy thoughts.
