I went to sleep after having a bad case of the ice cold cola’s and now my breathe sticks like soda. I slept through my alarm to realize i have a sugar hangover and i was late for school. I went to put on my very favorite Element hoodie and discovered it had a huge hole on the shoulder, so i had to put on my dumb white shirt. I sauntered downstairs to get some cereal before school but the milk in the fridge was spoiled and my cat knocked over my bowl and all my fruit loops were all over the floor. I just knew that today was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. One my way to school it started to pour rain and a big truck drove through a puddle and completely soaked me. Finally i made it to school, i tried to get into my locker and get some dry clothes and books i would need for class but my stupid, dumb lock wouldn’t open. I made my way to La, ugh i thought, i hate La. My teacher got …show more content…
Later in the cafeteria for lunch my ketchup squirted out all over the table, the floor and my white shirt. I ran to the bathroom to try and get the stain out but nothing worked. On my way back to my table i tripped over my own shoe lace and hit my cheek on a chair. Everyone in the whole cafeteria laughed at me, i was so humiliated. Then to top it all of when i finally got back to my table my best friend told me that my huge crush Beyonce got married! Could things get any worse? This was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. When school was done, my mom came to pick me up from school because she said we had to run errands. I cannot stand running errands, it so dumb. I went to get into the car but both the window’s were taken up by all of my mom’s stuff for work. I asked her if she could move the stuff but she said no. This was madness i was in the middle of all her stuff and i felt i was going to be car sick. If we didn’t get to the store soon i was going to scream! I’m moving to Hawaii i mumbled under my
My first day in school was horrible. I didn’t know anyone and I knew very little english, words like “may I use the bathroom, Hi, yes, no,and thank you”. The only person that talked to me the first day was the teacher I did not end up not making friends. I cried for 2 months when we first moved here I hated everything I missed my old house, my friends and my school. I was mad at my mom for making us move here and my dad for moving here in the first place.
Finally the day had arrived when we got all packed and took a one day trip to cedar point. My mom packed some snacks and we hit the road. The whole ride there I was bored and hungry, but I wasn’t going to eat a healthy snack. Which was a bad idea since I get migraines when I don’t eat. “UGHHHH!
All of the other kids became silent and scared of Miss Fisher. On my way home I began thinking about how much I wanted to go to school earlier this morning. Now, I never want to go back. School is worse than I thought it would be. I thought of it as this fun place of learning and meeting new friends.
It almost seemed to be an ideal day, at first. Not until we heard the news about the mishap. Hearing the news that David was hit by a car made me feel like I was paper being shredded and yanked in half over and over again. The impact on our school was similar, too. The school was in a state of distress.
I put my pink star pajamas on and made me some buttery popcorn. While the popcorn was popping I turned the table into my bed. By the time I was done the microwave beeped, which meant the popcorn was done. When I opened up the microwave the buttery smell of the popcorn made my mouth water. It was 10:30 when I was getting tired, so I dumped the popcorn kernels out into the trash can and went to
The cool air swoops in and out behind me as the door slams close. Immediately I feel the pressure of hundreds of eyes glaring at me. I glide my feet down the school hallway, secretly hoping that today will be different. Today I can avoid all the drama and pain. I arrive at my locker and open it, only for it to be shut a second later by the wannabee herself Ms. Amber Jones.
I stood up and walked as fast as my little legs would let me, right out of that dumb school. I started to ride my scooter home getting faster and faster up to the point where the grey side walk was a blur below me. I got home and Getting inside my mom told me that we were having a visitor for dinner tonight, and that I had to be on my best behavior. With blank eyes I starred at her not really knowing what she said. Trying to comprehend what she did say I forgot about it.
I got so dirty! So we stopped at a hotel for the night,so i could take a shower, and so we could also get some sleep. The next day was okay except for the part when my mom got pulled over. When we pulled up to my dad’s driveway the next door neighbor started freaking out. Because, she saw a black guy in a white neighborhood, she called the cops.
Tremaine I’ve had a couple bad days, but this one tops it off. It felt like a normal day at first. Let me stop lying, it started off horrible. It was in the summer time, so I stayed up all night until about two o’clock-ish. I needed my sleep, because I was in for the WORST day ever!
I am awakened by the bright light seeping through and around my black-out curtains. The clock on my night stand reads 3:02pm. I realize it is Thursday my night off from work and that I actually slept 6 straight hours with no interruption (that’s a record since I started working nights at the hospital). Still drowsy I toss my covers off and peel my listless body from the comfort of my cozy bed. I stumble down the stairs to the kitchen where I turn on my Keurig and realize it is “THURSDAY!
The first day of school was right around the corner, not knowing
It was a normal Friday afternoon and I was excited to get my weekend started like everyone else. I was pleasantly surprised when they said we were going out for dinner because we went out for dinner occasionally and usually something important was happening when we did. So I was super excited because I forget which restaurant it was but I really liked the place. So we sat down and we were getting ready to order and out of nowhere I don't know why i said it

so I could stay home. But this time it was real. So I called my mom to ask if it was ok to walk home, she said no. She told me to try to make it to lunch, and that I was probably just hungry. She was tired of me skipping school.
As I have grown older into the young man I am today, I have had my fair share of criticism. I have had different individuals critique, judge, and sometimes dismantle me with their own opinions and negative feedback. Today I am now open to criticism and see it as an opportunity for improvement. At one point in my life, I was not always so optimistic.
