Personal Narrative: My Trip To Montana

Last minute trips with the girls are always fun to do, especially going somewhere I have never been before. After over 16 hours of driving and being crammed into a car with our luggage piled around us, we got to Montana. It all started with my cousin Grace wanting to go to Flathead lake in Montana. The funny part of this is that she saw it on instagram and it said that Supposedly this lake is one of the largest natural freshwater lake that is west of the Mississippi river in the United States. So my Mom, me, my Grandma, cousin Grace, and Aunt Sarah all packed up our bags of luggage into the car and left for a vacation with no plans and nowhere booked to stay. I think that was one of the exciting parts about the trip is knowing that we are going somewhere we have never been before, but we also did not have any plans where we were staying either. The trip was an exciting mystery, especially going with two of my favorite people that I don’t get to see often. The two people that made my trip amazing because I do not get to see them much was my Grandma and cousin Grace. My Grandma is one of the most important person in my life. It was pure joy once we got into Montana because we were almost there. Driving in Montana for the first time was very cool because I have never seen mountains like this in real life before. They looked small from a far distance, but once you got close up to them it was like one giant mountain that was so big from the bottom of it looking up. One town that we went through that stuck out to me was Butte, Montana, this town had a 90’ statue dedicated to the virgin Mary. This statue was very cool to see because it was so high up in the sky and sat on top of the mountains. It looked like it was there for protecting the land and the people from down
