Some people assume that I have been dancing here my whole life because of my connection to the girls and my improvement over the years, but truthfully I started dancing at Spotlight when I was in fifth grade. A good friend of mine from school, Alexa, had always talked to me about how much she loved this studio and how great the people were there. I had danced when I was younger but left the sport to plays soccer for several years. Dance was always within me, and it finally came to the point that I knew I wanted to continue to do what I previously had loved. I decided to go to the fall open house and check out the dance studio.

She was so moved by her reception that she wept before her audience. The show was a huge success and marked Baker’s comeback to the stage. In April 1975,to celebrate 50 years since her debut Josephine Baker performed at the Bobino Theater in Paris, in the first of a series of performances celebrating the anniversary. Paislee 's pov I allowed my body to flow effortlessly as I was very closely surrounded by all of my friends and quiet a few people I barely even knew. We had been dancing at my sweet 16 as I began to lose all track of time. I was wearing the dress I had picked out a week before with my nude heals and I felt beautiful. The party was held at my friends house because she had insisted on it. She had decorated the entire place with blue and black and covered it with polkadots.
When I was young, I used to watch surgeries on TV with my mom. I still continue to watch medical shows on TV or watch surgeries on Snapchat from doctors who record their surgeries for their viewers to watch. I have a passion to help others, and by working in the medical field, I will have the opportunity to help others every day. I’ve wanted to become a surgeon since I was about 4 or 5 years old, and my career plan has not changed once. Each day that passes, I get more passionate and excited about my future as a medical student, and eventually a surgeon.
We've seen her potential in the first few weeks of this school year where we all once introduced ourselves in front, we will never forget how she would let everybody know herself "Quiell Rio Balais, Grade 8 Temperance!!" So, come on and join me in getting to know her more in this article of mine as she is now the new "it girl"
I especially enjoyed witnessing all the hardworking girls ,just like myself, strive for their dream. Every little gymnasts’ dream, including mine, was to go to the Olympics, to compete at the college level and achieve overall greatness in the sport of gymnastics. However, as I got older and progressed through the sport, that dream that every little girl dreams about started to slowly slip away. The reality was that by the time I had reached 8th grade I was no longer at my pinnacle. I had hit the dreaded growth spurt.
In her call to action, Oprah talks about a little boy who became a quadruple amputee but overcame this struggle and joined his school lacrosse team. Upon hearing about the victims of the Boston Marathon, he created a fundraiser “to raise $1 million for other amputees”. She also mentions a 9-year-old girl who collected change “to help other people in need.” By including these similar anecdotes in her speech it shows that anyone can make a difference, even those without a lot of power or education behind them. This inspired those with a Harvard education to realize their potential and never settle until they have made a positive influence on another’s life. By ending her speech mentioning these two devoted children, she inspires all to find the innocence and compassion of a little kid and pour their passion for whatever they majored in.
One family tradition that continues to be celebrated by our family and millions of Latinos is a Quinceaneras. Quinceaneras is a celebration when a young girl turns fifteen and transitions from being a young girl to a young woman. As the young girl walks down the church with a beautiful, elegant dress of her choice, her father is accompanying her, all her family and friends then view her as a young woman. This is a tradition most Latin American’s still use to celebrate the womanhood of their daughters. Some people may say this is the year where the young woman learns how to cook and
Soon, Katelyn and Alyana moved in together, which made it easier for all of us to spend time together. At Bailey’s 12th birthday party, her best friends showed up. That night they all had the bright idea to go tee-pee Bailey’s father’s close friend, (Jeff Hughes), that was teasing the girls. Bailey’s mother drove them to the store, while the girls bought about 20 rolls of the cheapest toilet paper they could find. After they bought the toilet paper, the girls went to Jeff’s house.
It was July 4, 2016, when the thought of losing weight and having a toned body was a way of the past. Barbell Republic Strength and Conditioning opened their doors offering an array of cardio, strength training, and weightlifting workouts. I have always been competitive from junior high into high school (I wanted to be first) and participating in Cross Fit it has fulfilled my desire to compete. On the 8th of April, 2017, my friend Stephanie and I competed in a local charitable Cross Fit challenge in Las Vegas. The event was a day full of competition, food, supplements, clothing lines and most importantly giving back.
In Spanish countries around the world, friends and family gather as an immense party takes place for a girl who celebrates her transformation into adulthood. This party is called a quinceanera. A quinceanera marks a very important time in a girl 's life. Throughout this ceremony, she marks her passage into womanhood. Our Bethel (chapter) has presented several HIKE checks to kids in need. I have personally set up and planned fundraisers for this cause. Once, I asked all my friends and family to save up their aluminum cans for a few months to be recycled. We collected over 200 dollars, though I never wanted to look at another aluminum can again. The mother that received the next check was almost in tears.
