I just woke up, it was a hot quiet day, like usual. I open my window to see a girl around my age out on the field working, I have never noticed her or seen her around before. She notices me and I wave, she gives me a dirty look and goes back to raking leaves. She doesn’t seem happy but I’m not happy either when I do my chores.
So, I go on with my morning routine, lay in my bed till I get myself in the mood to get up. I started to wake up more, I go to my closet and get my socks and afternoon dress. I go to the feet of my bed and get my black platform shoes. I walk down the stairs and I see father is having his morning coffee and my mother is making all of us breakfast. I ask my father who that girl was out there on the field and if she just moved. My father stared at me not

We sprint to where she was sent. “Let’s get her. Now. It’s perfect there is on one.”
“No tomorrow.” Says Allison. “For now we can stay someone one of my close friends.”
The next day we were up early in the morning, the birds chirping, the sun rising, and the rooster cockadoodling. We snuck out of Allison’s friends’ house who was kind enough to let us stay for the night, give us food and water,--which was definitely needed--,and an idea how to sneak Elizabeth out. Her idea was simple, to keep it simple, nothing complicated or time consuming. So we took that idea and went with it. We planned on jumping over the fence, taking Elizabeth when she was raking the leaves, so she would be closer to us, and we wouldn’t have to run very far to get her out and for us to get in.
We walked and took our time because we knew if we ran again it would look suspicious. Once Allison and I saw Elizabeth come out of her shed house, and her owners, the Smiths, leave we took the moment and jumped, over the fence, past the house, the shed, and the dog house. At first Elizabeth didn’t see us because we were behind a bush, but eventually she saw us and recognized
Jane quickly stopped singing and silently look at her mother with fear in her eyes. The men continued riding their horses to the house about a mile from where Jane and her mother were, Ruth told Jane they must be asking the homeowners if they saw anyone running around last night. As night fell on the swamp Ruth began carrying Jane. She was walking through field moving very slowly just incase someone was out looking for her.
One bird asked us if we needed a place to stay. Mom almost started crying she was so happy. Page 8… After about a week, we are all settled in at the bird who offered us to stay with him. He was very welcoming and told us his name was John.
Were in a house, a rather large house. There was strange people offering us food, water, medicine, and anything else we might need. They were being quite quiet about us being there though. It doesn’t take Taylor and I long to figure out they were slaves, but Ashley didn’t quite get the memo. Taylor and I are more familiar with slaves because we get out a lot more than Ashley.
I had just arrived at our small lake cabin, ready to go to bed. When I woke up the next day, I did my normal routine, eat, brush my teeth, comb my hair, and get dressed. With nothing to do at sunrise, I head outside, hoping to go on an adventure. But with no luck on a gloomy day I just ended up playing catch with my cousin. About 5 minutes later, my dad walked out, watching us play catch in the misty morning.

It had been several weeks since we had stolen the groundhog shadow. I had stayed up late the majority of the night; I was excited about Groundhog Day. Usually my mom had to wake me up, but on this day, I was dressed and ate breakfast before my mom woke up. My mom was surprised I had so much energy. Other times on Groundhog Day, I dragged myself around and complained about the long winter.
The man woke calmly, just like any other ordinary morning, he got up out of his soft bed and looked at the other side. It was empty, it seemed his wife had gone shopping, the man turned and stumbled out of the room into the cozy living room. The fireplace was lit and kept the room bright and warm. The man continued walking through and into the kitchen, the benches were clean and ordered. He opened the freezer, got out two slices of bread and put them into the toaster.
Lindsey and Samuel walked into an abandoned house, beginning to bond, as Susie from up above narrates, “She and Samuel began to unzip leathers. ”(pg 237) The rain forced them to stop, their motorcycle, on there way home from graduation. Two of them soon approached a fascinating victorian home.
" It is nice finding that place where you can just go and relax. " words by Moises Arias. One of my favorite places to go is Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Every year for the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekend the whole entirety of my family take a vast round trip together. The reasons it is my favorite place is because of my family, the round trip there, and not having to worry about anything else.
We start to walk out of the Great hall and we head outside and we find our brother and we were so thankful that he made it he didn’t have anything wrong with him. And then we went on a train to go look for a little house that has to bedrooms and one bath and one livingroom and one little kitchen. We had all of our stuff and the lady was asking for 40$ for the place and my father and mother were like ok we will take it. And we went in and there was just the first floor and a basement but the basement was small. And then my mother was like you to have to do the laundry
It’s August 28, 1963 and I have a dream. I have a dream that this nation is going to become independent and that colored men and white men will be able to be united. I have a dream that one day colored men and white men can use the same bathrooms and can use the same drinking fountains. I have a dream today that nations would accept the fact that peace is needed. I have a dream today that this nation would understand that all men and women are created equal.
While gazing at the stars on a beautiful winter night, I received a phone call. It was mother. Whimpering, she said "will you please come to the living room. " My mind racing of a million thoughts, "what did I do?" "I hope I 'm not in trouble."
“Mama,” Wangero said sweet as a bird. “Can I have these old quilts?” I heard something fall in the kitchen, and a minute later than the kitchen door slammed. “Why don’t you take one or two of the others?” I asked.
As I lay in bed I hear my mom yell up at me to get dressed, it was time to go. As
For my sister, helping grandmother with the small animals and within her games and fantasies, also introducing to the dogs and cats from the farm her doll Tete saying that Tete was a lady from Paris.
