Personal Narrative Essay: The New Dodge Ram

On May 21, 2015, I bought a brand new Dodge Ram off the lot. It happened to be the first thing that caught my eye, and it was love at first sight. It was just that one of a kind, beautiful slate blue that I don’t see very often. It had big “muddin” tires, a three and a half inch lift kit, and the big, stout cattle guard on the front. I knew that it would go through anything I wanted it to. When I buy something new, I like to name it, so the name I thought of was Annabelle; Annabelle seemed to be a perfect fit. When it came down to it, Annabelle brought a lot of happiness in my life. I was finally able to go mudding down a back road with my buddies and not worry about getting stuck. She was always ready to go. Anytime I needed Annabelle to help me pull a friend out of a ditch she never let us down. Annabelle kept my secrets, listened to my problems, and was apart of some of my favorite stories. She went through everything I went through. Finally, the compliments that came with the truck never got old. Comments like, “Your truck is so big, clean, or loud” always made me happy. …show more content…

For example, my buddies and I took Annabelle through the flooded roads we had in July. Then we also took Annabelle to this town called Chadwick and took her off-roading and climbing hills.
