Personal Narrative: Firefighters

It was just an ordinary day in October in Nashville, Tennessee. Until around noon was when tragic hit. Alarms sounding, people running in terror. Smoke is surrounding the building with scorching flames all around. Firefighters rush to the rescue of those who are exiting the building. Here we are on 76th street Sam, Dean, Castiel, Bobby, and Ashton. Sam and his friends quickly put on their heavy gear; a smoke mask, a yellow helmet and bright yellow full body gear to protect them from the smoke and hot flames. Standing outside of the building you could feel the heat. The ambulance surrounds the people coming out of the burning building, and throws oxygen mask on their faces. While all of this was going on a lady comes out screaming. “My friend is stuck in the second floor!” the lady said panicking. “ Help her!” Sam heard the panicking lady and approached her calmly. …show more content…

“I do not know if she is hurt! She is on the second floor, and I heard her yelling for help, but I could not get to her without both of us getting stuck!” exclaimed the lady. “ Okay ma'am calm down and stay here.” said Sam “ Dean get your gear on! There is a lady trapped on the second floor!” yelled Sam. Dean gets ready in a hurry while Sam is gathering equipment and the search and rescue dog. Sam and Dean approach the door and send the dog in first and follow right behind. Reaching the first floor Sam yells “ Is anybody down here? This is the fire department. If anybody is here please respond!” said Sam. No answer. “ No one is down here Sam lets keeping moving before this building collapse.” said Dean. They both quickly head for the stair case. While heading up the staircase carefully Sam turns around to make sure Dean is still behind him. Dean yells at Sam saying “ Sam watch out!”.
