I am Cassidy Briann Norton. We’ll be talking about me today. My first name means clever and intelligent. It also means curly hair. My name kinda represents me because I am intelligent and I do have naturally curly hair. My last name means Northern Settlement which leads me to believe that I came from a family that once settled in the North. This makes me think of the people who settled in the North. These people were French and English people. So I think I am a descendant from there. My middle name, Briann, means strong. So Cassidy Briann Norton means clever, curly haired, strong, and from the North. I like this name because in a way it represents me. And when I asked where my parents got my name they said that they couldn’t decide between naming me Cassidy, or Briann, so they named me both of the names!
This year I have set many goals

Why? Because I like the way the Indians hunted, and worked together, and the history I’ve been taught about them. I am led to believe I am an old soul because of the way I can make something incredible out of a bendable stick and some string. I could even redo some mistakes I made back then. Yet at the same time I would rather go into the future because the past already happened. But then again, I don’t really want to know what the future holds yet. I want it to roll out like words on a book, unwind like a rolled up scroll right before my eyes. I want to stay in the present and think about my future, not see it. I think that the future is just a timeline not yet used or written. You can’t see the future if it’s not yet written it, all depends on your choices. And in the future the choices you might make haven’t been made yet. So for now I’ll think of all the confusing high school classes I’ll have to choose and the giant, far away, colleges I might go to. If I’ll continue all my sports or not. Because you don’t know what you’re going to choose until you have to choose
She died due to a miscarriage, so they named me after her. My middle name
For a long while, mom never had the chance to check my gender, Mexico wasn’t the kindest to its people when it comes to medical care; and so she assumed I would be a guy. She bought boy toys, clothes, picked out the name Ricardo, meaning powerful ruler, and had the room ready once she came over here. At my birth mom realized just what gender I was, and so named me after a family member who was just as headstrong as she was.
My first name Nathan ranks thirty-eighth in the United States and thirteenth in Canada, but that is low in relation to crowning my first name to be the most popular in France (Campbell). I would have certainly not known my name to be so popular in a different country. Since I was born, I have been alien to knowledge of how I came to have my name, how popular it was, and what it meant because of accepting it without any thought. I never thought about how much my name represents who I am and how much it affects me. I wanted to figure out where my name came from; therefore, I found primary research useful by interviewing my mother about family surname history.
What is your nickname/ what would you like to be called? I do not have a nickname so I would prefer to be called by my first name which is Melvin. What program are you enrolled?
The concept of future can be imperceptible. It is forged by our present and untouchable past of our life. Relationships can be maintained if built on the foundation of strong undisputed past. Yet, if built upon the uncertainty of past they come crumbling down. Ignorance and selfishness starts to blossom in our veins.
Names are just words. They all have meanings, some do not illustrate the person they are with, others do. My full name is Chloe Dell Carman, I think a name is just words given to someone to address them. Names should not impact you as a person. Finding out the definition of your name should not change who you are, if you think a name changed you then you are an imbecile.
R stands for Risible, which means laughable. A stands for amazing, because she is awesome. C stands for childish, because she has a child in her that she will never outgrow. H stands for huggable, because she is a pillow when you need one. E stands for energetic, because she is full of energy.
So the next time you wonder about the future, think about your past and you may be
Although I've spent the majority of my life on Long Island, I spent the first 6 years of my life living in Queens, NY. It's where I was born, and it's helped shape who I am since before I was born. Queens is the most culturally diverse county in the United States and therefore one of the most diverse places on the planet. Close to 50% of it's residents are foreign born and over 120 different languages are spoken in the largest borough of New York City. Most people refer to the US as a melting pot, but I believe it's more like a big patchwork quilt.
Some people may believe that Hannah is starting to like being called Chaya and that she is starting to answer to it more often. Chaya was Hannah’s Hebrew name and she was given it to honor Aunt Eva’s dead friend. They are indicating that Hannah is honored that she was given the special name of Aunt Eva’s dead friend. Many others, such as myself, know that hannah doesn’t want to accept her hebrew name as her real name.
Many of the names were chosen from the bible on the day of a child’s birth. Letting God choose a child’s name shows a level of faith in the parents which often results in awkward and weird names. The use of the name, Magdalena called Lena, is similar to the phrasing in the bible in names like Simon called Peter. Toni Morrison put a lot of emphasis into the characters' names in Song of Solomon. The main characters' last name of Dead has a lot of emphasis.
These are are few words that describe me as a person. My mother got my name from my father whose name is Antwane. Antwane means the “priceless one” or “beyond praise.” If I were to change my name I’d change it to Aubrey Nacole Cooper because I don’t want my father’s name. The nickname I’m used to hearing my family call me is “Baby Dill” because of my big ears.
Along with a large fraction other students, Chap believes that these name tags are beneficial to the school and they help people express their personalities. Expressing your personality is much easier as you can add to your lanyard and get an
For example majority of my family has their father last name. Meaning in, when people hear Kayla Rowe they think, oh, that 's Michael Rowe 's daughter. He 's a nice man so she must be a nice girl. That 's a tradition I have to carry on because anyone with the last name Rowe, in my family, is mostly known for being nice and respectful. This shows names can carry on legacies or
