Imagine that the only thing in existence is one room. The room seems to be dark, like the deepest onyx, and barren like a frozen tundra. You turn realizing you were facing the wall and see many shadows lining along the edges of the room. From the shadows emerge several beings. Limp and pale, almost to the point of being translucent. The beings slowly begin to move forward. You find that these beings live off of the light of a lone candle lit in the center of the room resting upon a small wooden table. These beings have lived in this room for quite some time and have adapted to their environment. Realizing that this light was their source of nourishment, energy, and life the beings do whatever possible to preserve it, nurture it. The beings took turns fanning the flames with their hands; allowing it to flourish. The beautiful flame bloomed like a wildflower in spring. Its colorful petal like flames spreading from the center enveloping the room in light. The beings basked in this light appreciating it for all its worth. The light emanating from the flames had an almost rejuvenating property on the beings, increasing endorphins in their minds, bringing a pure sense of euphoria. Not knowing what to do the others begin to lash a the selfish raking their nails against his skin. He shrieks in pain as blood is drawn. The beings have never felt this emotion before. This animalistic worry for their survival and their survival alone. Eaten away by this feeling they all become selfish. The selfish continue to fight amongst themselves, eliminating their competition for the light. Blood flies from the selfish and eventually a single drop falls onto the wick of the candle. The light slowly sizzles out as smoke from the still burning wick fills the room. The beings in a panic return the candle to the table at the center of the
Hocking Hills It was a cloudy fall day, a cold feeling, and everything seemed calm. We were at hocking hills camping in cabins. The cabins were two stories with one room on the second story and two rooms on the first story. The cabin was built with brown wood with a tint of orange.
Since the salamander, or fireman, is considered fireproof, and if this duo is burning their houses, then technically they are burning the one who is supposed to be protected from the fire, causing a problem in society. This is what they want to happen, but the mission will be dangerous. Lastly, Faber says “Those who don’t build must burn. It’s as old as history and juvenile delinquents.” He’s saying that the people who don’t create or invent are destined to burn or destroy.
And as it does, tremors begin to become apparent, shaking the entire chamber that we are in now. From that small crevice that opened up from the golden gate a strong beam of light appears from inside. The strength is massive and the heat, scorching. It burns me as if your body is being set aflame. " Ahhrgh, such power from just the light it emits."
Sucking gently at hidden dust. Then, like mysterious invaders, they popped into their burrows. Their
Lost in limbo, these spirits cannot rest without justice. With no place to go, their ghostly presence can be felt in the darkest shadows of the desert. And their hungry gaze void of life, is fixated on the only place they've ever called home, the oasis.
There is an accident on the 405 so we take PCH. I look at the window, into the sea. I am looking for dolphins or whales, but I have never seen a whale from this road. Once, when we were driving to Summer Nationals, Dad offered me two-bucks if I saw a whale. We drive past La Conchita.
Hi-Way Inn, a Fitting Looking as if time had beaten it up so bad that the next strong storm would finish it off, the Hi-Way Inn was a little restaurant in Elsa, Texas. It was on 107 just after the closed down Hollon Oil gas station. You’d have to be looking away to miss it. You would also have to have a lot of guts to want to go in.

Ever since I was young, I have always heard someone talking about Marquette. Part of this may be due to the fact that three of my neighbors have gone to Marquette and have absolutely loved it. Adding on to that, I have met even more people that have gone to Marquette that have really liked it and are usually successful in life. I met even more people at the Marquette open house that were from all over the United States and said they went to Marquette and they hope their child will attend Marquette as well. This made me realize that Marquette is truly local, since I know several people that have gone to Marquette that live by me and at the same time it is global, since I have met people around the United States, as well as other countries that
The large fire in the centre of the room looks very inviting, burning silently and flickering beautiful colours of orange, red and occasional flashes of yellow. The tables contain, much to my delight, huge bouquets of

My Theme Song Songs can connect with how we feel and our experiences. Music has been a major part of my life ever since I was just a toddler. For me music has helped me express what I am feeling and who I am as a person. My therapy has been music, it has helped me through almost every problem I have faced. With listening to the song lyrics, we can get a true understanding of what the artist is trying to tell us.
