Abraham Lincoln
(During BANG! have it make a shooting sound) BANG! (have 3 seconds of me falling(in slow mo)) My heart was pounding as I was falling to the ground. (wait a second then talk) As President of the United States I have ended slavery in America and now my life is ending. In my last few breaths, my life flashes to the things that have worried me and happened in my life. My wife, my children, and my Presidency. There have been many losses that came before me, 2 out of 4 of my sons have died, my wife lost her mind, and my country has divided and almost lost their unity. Now it was my turn.
Just seconds after I was shot, they took me to the Petersen House, across from the theater, the hospital was too far, that's where I took my last breath, and I died. I was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth with. A Philadelphia Deringer pistol, on Good Friday, April 14. During a Play at Ford's Theatre

With the south and the north divided there were major battles many people fought and died. This civil war was very stressful mentally and physically, but in the end, it helped many people. But what many people did not know that I suffered from depression and I got many death threats from people that hated me for the disliking of slavery. This was also the main cause of my death, because I didn’t agree with slavery.
My life was great, I fought in court so all races could be treated equally and have the same rights. I became President and ended slavery, but because of my abolitionist views. I was murdered right next to my wife during a play at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. Even with my fame what many people did not know that I not only suffered from depression but i also was filled with self doubt. On the night I died they found in my wallet not only money but news articles about me being a great president in my pocket. Even I needed to know someone else believed in me.

The North also disapproved of slavery and the South believed slavery was a part of their way of life, making the two sides dislike each other even more. When the Civil War started, both sides believed it would be a quick battle, but they were wrong. The war lasted a long time and had many casualties. By the end of the Civil War, around 600,000 Americans had lost their lives, and thousands more were suffering from wounds. The Union was the victor of the war, showing that the national government was stronger than the states, this also freed millions of African
Alabama Trip My mom and and dad told me in December that we were going to Gulf Shores, Alabama to visit my grandparents. Gulf Shores is the southernmost town in Alabama, located on the north coast of the Gulf of Mexico. I have been there twice when I was little. I remember that I collected seashells and went swimming with Boppa in the pool.
The civil war not only had an effect on the government, foreign policy, finances, but also the people that fought in the war or had loved ones in the war. Reading biographies and first hand recounts of the civil war is the best two ways to understand how it felt to live during this time in history. It’s an important insight that helps paint a picture of how living during the war was, and how people lived. The first recount of the civil war comes from William Stewart Price.
All dreaded it, all sought to avert it.” “These slaves constituted a peculiar and powerful interest. All knew that this interest was somehow the cause of the war.” The Civil War went on for four long years due to slavery and it didn’t help that one-eighth of the entire populace were colored slaves, the Northern states wanted to eliminate slavery or at least attempt to prevent or stop the expansion of slavery into the Western areas, while on the other hand the Southern states wanted to increase and extend slavery.

The Civil War Era was an extremely pivotal and revolutionary time in American History. Even as one nation, the separation between the South and North were becoming increasingly noticeable and tensionable, thus the Civil War Era. It has been noted that one of the driving factors behind the cause of the Civil War were the increasingly different economies between the North and South. The North and South had a symbiotic relationship with one another so as the driving forces behind the economies of each grew apart and their fundamentals started differ, problems arose. One of the main dilemmas being slavery, and its impact on the economy.
The Civil War was America’s most devastating conflict in terms of casualties and property destroyed. The war started after the southern states seceded from the Union and southern troops fired on a Union fort in Charleston harbor. Prior to the war there had been lots of tension between the northern and the southern states over the issue of slavery. The dissolution of the United States prior to the Civil War was the result of southern opposition to growing anti-slavery sentiments in the north, dissatisfaction with political compromises especially those relating to slavery in western states, and general concerns about the future of a post slavery southern economy.
The Civil War was one of the most devastating wars in American history. It was fought between the North and the South over Slavery. It impacted both the South and the North’s economy. Many people died trying to re-unite the country over slavery, “over 620,000 people died in the Civil War” (Riggs 2 ). This proved that the war not only affected the country and the economy; it also affected the people as well.
The Civil War was a terrible tragedy that affected millions of people, but helped toward the abolition of slavery. Compromises over slavery failed, huge disagreements over slavery developed, and the people were in outrage in both the North and South. Slavery was the main reason for sectionalism and the outrage over it. The nation was divided on the subject. Ultimately, sectionalism slavery were the main reasons for the Civil War.
The American Civil War was a war fought over equality. The country was split into North and the South, the union and the confederates. The war was sparked by the election of the sixteenth president Abraham Lincoln in 1860. A month after Lincoln took office the Civil War would officially start. President Lincoln wanted to get slavery out of the states.
The Civil war was fought in the United States of America between the Northern and Southern states starting from 1861 ending in 1865. The civil war was the most significant time in the history of America. The civil war was to be thought of shaping the American individual. The northerner’s view of this war was a revolutionary war. The southerner’s view of this war was a rebellion.
After, The Supreme Court’s confirmation on the legality of slavery in the territories convinced a lot of Southerners that the Northern was seeking the destruction of the “peculiar institution” that was sustained, which made the Southern, and Northern ties almost on its last straw. Then Lincoln’s election was the final straw, and made seven of the Southern states seceding from the United States. When the Civil War was over The Union won even though their armies weren’t as great as the South’s they managed a close victory possibly because of The Union’s sheer number of troops, but even though The Union won they lost a great leader, Abraham Lincoln who was assassinated by a Confederate sympathizer John Wilkes which turned the hearts of the people of the United States dearly, thus ending the American Civil War at a cost of 620,000 soldiers from both sides, plus a great leader Abraham
The Civil War is known as the bloodiest war in American History. Robert E. Lee may have said, “This war is not about slavery.”, but slavery was a major cause. The war was mainly caused by the diverging society between the North and South due to their different goals. Some of the goals they couldn’t agree on were economic policies, the righteousness of slavery, and political decisions. The difference in economic policies is one reason the North and South went to war.
The Civil War was a unique and significant event in American history. According to many historians, the war was ultimately the final resolution of contradictions in the vision of America when the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. It stated that “all men are created equal” and “endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights”. The war’s origins lay in slavery, which began in North America in the early 1600s and grew rapidly in the South, which caused the southern economy as a whole depended on heavily on slave labor leading up to the Civil War. Slavery, the splitting of which state would be slave or free, and Abraham Lincoln played a major role that was responsible for the nature of the war than any other individual.
