M is for My Gecko I don’t remember how long ago this was, but it was definitely awhile. I wanted a pet other than a dog, so I asked my dad. He told me a gecko would be a cool pet for me. I looked at pictures of them and I wanted one right away. My dad and I went to the pet store and searched for the reptiles. We found the area that had the leopard geckos, which were the kind I wanted. They were all babies and so cute. I picked one of them that was looking for crickets to eat. We brought him home. My mom was not really notified about this, and she wasn’t so happy. We decided to name him Hunter, because he would always be hunting for crickets in his cage.
