In the middle of the winter of the 5th grade school year at the Kaneland Mcdole Elementary School, I decided to cover for my best friend so he wouldn't get in trouble from my teacher. It was very cold while I waited at the bus stop every morning trying to amuse myself by sliding down the icy driveways. Ethan S., Sergio, and Grant were my best friends in 5th grade. Sergio was Mexican and a little shorter than me. He also sat next to me in desks of 5 or 4.

February sixth was the day of my last middle school game. We were playing our rivals , Ledford middle school. The first time we played them we only lost by two points. The first five starters for Ledford and our first five including myself were all standing at half court for tip off. The ref. threw the ball up and Gillian tipped it back to me.
During my last year of middle school at Drew Freeman my life changed. I was exposed to a wonderful opportunity. I was given the chance to take a test that would determine
I attended Eureka College, a liberal arts school, where I learned how to be a cheerleader. I studied economics and sociology.and I graduated with a C average. I played football, and I was captain of the swim team. During college, I was elected student body president and led a strike against the college president after he tried to cut back on faculty.
We lived in the North Heights area of Amarillo, across the train tracks and I guess we would considered urban. Growing up in the 60’s we had neighborhood schools, I attended kindergarten at Miss Rosenberg’s Kindergarten, we graduated with white caps and gowns and I was really happy. She was a black woman with a Jewish sounding name, who was our leader who taught us the basic of learning. I attended North Heights Elementary School beginning in first through sixth grade Our high school, Carver High School was forced to close its doors to integrate and become a junior high school by the order the president of the United States. As I mentioned we had teachers that taught us, because they were like us, we didn’t experience a great deal of discipline
I was lost. Friends were not at my disposal. Time was in abundance. Thoughts was all i had. Freshman through Christmas break of my sophomore year I attended Berks Catholic High School, but before that I graduated from a feeder school named Scared Heart School.
It was hard getting things arranged at first, but I am still attending Logansport High School and plan to keep going there until the end of tenth grade. All in all, I am happy with how my life has gone so far and I am excited for what the future
When I first graduated high school I thought I wanted to be a pilot to fly airplanes, so I signed up to attend classes at Kishwaukee College located in DeKalb. ECC helped me sing up for classes at an in district rate because Elgin could not offer the courses that I wanted to me. During the first semester I found out that I did not want to become a pilot anymore and that I would be happier if I changed and focused on computer science. The advisors helped me schedule classes back at ECC for computer science then next semester. During the last year and a half at ECC I have been able to start fulfilling my education goals by getting a good education and find out what I want to go to college for.
There it was, standing in the distance, a tall gloomy gray-colored building. With a few splashes of blue paint added to the dull cement to add color to what would otherwise be a lifeless building. This building was non-other than the one and only Stoller Middle School. I never referred to it as a middle school but more as a prison, it was full of rules that were put in place just to suck away any possible fun from a child’s mind. Maybe I didn’t like the place because I was suspended five times from it.
Lincoln Middle School is an interesting and fun place to be. It’s set up like a figure eight so it is easy to get around. All the teachers are friendly and have quirks that I always enjoy. Some teachers are better than others but all of them are good. I love Lincoln, it is easily my favorite school because you get lots of exercise going through the hallways during passing time.
Some of the schools I’ve attended were Arcola Lakes Elementary School, West Little River Elementary School, Hubert O. Sibley Elementary School, Miami Springs Middle School, William H. Turner Technical Arts High School, and Saint Thomas University just to name a few. My recent big achievement was graduating my high school with honors. As of now, I am majoring in English and minoring in Pre-Law. I have many different hobbies and interests.
On Wednesday, February 1, 2017, Chino Hills High School was out of power, resulting all the students got released early. I walked into the school campus about to sit at the normal table that I wait at. I usually get to school thirty minutes early because of traffic. I did notice something was off when I sat down. The area where I sat was a bit darker than usual.
I’ll never forget how I felt the first time I walked into Prairie Ridge High School. I was surrounded by approximately sixteen hundred other students and I knew exactly none of them. I had never been that alone before and when I walked through the cafeteria doors, I felt the first seed of doubt that maybe I should have stayed in Union, with my mom. At that moment, I wanted to turn around and run out of Prairie Ridge, hop in the car, and drive the four hundred miles back to my friends, my teammates, and the majority of my family. Instead, I took a deep breath and sat down.
Everyone has had someone close pass away. Well in my case, it was my best friend Ethan. He pass away in 2013 from a mistake by the doctor. I know that he always wanted me happy, but that wasn’t always the case when he first was gone. let me tell you about our mind boggling years with Ethan.
