I 'm a laid back guy, who enjoys spending time with my friends, trying new things, and meeting new people. I love living in the city since there 's always something to do. I 'm an engineer and enjoy my job and its challenges; but, I spend all day in an office and by the end of the day I 'd rather go out and have some fun than go straight home and call it a night. I 'm from a military family, so I grew up overseas and lived in the mid-west after college; but I 've always call Maryland home. I love adventures, city life, the Ravens, concerts & festivals, and just hanging out with friends - since it’s more about the company than the event, I’m typically up for anything. I am looking for a woman who is fun-loving and spontaneous and a "the
I have lived in Michigan for my whole life. The state of Michigan itself is a very unique place, but even more unique is the upper peninsula of Michigan. The UP is barely more than three percent of the population of Michigan. We 're known as Yoopers, many people think of us as rednecks that sit around and hunt all day. Though the opening days of hunting season means most of the teachers are gone for hunting, there is a lot more to the UP than hunting.
What’s the purpose of friendship? Unfortunately, I was forced to learn this the hard way when I attended the ‘Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars’ Summer Academy over the summer of my junior year. The experience at the academy was unlike any other, but the challenge to make new friends was the most intimidating there than anywhere else that I’ve visited, especially at my own school. Yet, my school holds many of the common and well known people, such as teachers, that I could lean on for mental support, while at the academy had everything but Franklin County. What I meant by ‘but Franklin County’, I am actually referring to the wide varieties of different ethnicities and educational backgrounds that imploded into one single summer
Hey cutie, No, the tigers didn 't get me this time and I called off the engagements I had planned! Ha. I apologize I just am bad at writing emails and don 't get around to doing it till late at night; so it took awhile for it to click. That 's great that your brother is close with your grandmother.
The move back to Maryland was one of the biggest challenges in my life, everything was okay in Ohio until my step dad caused problems with me and my mom. It all started when my mom tried kicking my step dad out of the house for domestic violence. She kicked him out because not only has he fought with my mom, but he and I have fought a few times. Everything seemed fine at first until he kept bringing police officers to our house claiming almost all of our household items were his and he wanted to get them back. Of course the officers eventually weren’t allowing him to keep coming back to bug us about it and told him to go to the court and take the problem to a civil court judge.
The House on Poplar Ave We didn't always live on Poplar Ave. Before that we lived on Rockport Rd in Texas, and before that we live on 29st on the basement in Chicago. Before in Chicago, we lived on Chicken Street in China. I can remember all the places where we moved.
Now, the laid back southern life to me, is the way to go! No one is ever in a hurry it seems, just moseying along at their own tempo of life. Sitting back relaxing in the yard with family and friends talking about everything under the sky, laughing and cutting up with one another, having a cook-out or a late night bonfire enjoying the night air, sippin’ on some sweet tea, is what is special in my heart.
Personal Narrative Have You ever wanted to know what South Carolina is like? Well, Im going to tell you how it is down their. I was only 5 or 6 when i moved down there and we used live in dayton OH, but it took us about a week to decide if we wanted to move and pack up everything. It was the early 1800s when Lisa moved into her new home in Maryland. She was happy about moving into her new home because of the price she had it for and the location, although she didn’t like the slavery around her. She was a Quaker, who believed in the freeing of slaves. Her thoughts on this were clear; she thought the whole thing was inhuman and unjust. Lisa had always thought that everyone deserved equal rights and should all be treated the same.
I 'm not a native of Pennsylvania. Anyone can tell that from my intense love of snow and fall, two things you couldn 't find in a South Florida city like where I lived, where temperatures were always high and foliage stayed the same year round. If you were born in Pennsylvania, you grew up hearing people tell stories of hitting a deer at night meanwhile I grew up hearing stories of people finding alligators in their backyard. Most people know what it 's like to move to a new place, whether it 's a new town, state or country, however, I feel my dramatic move along with the circumstances surrounding it are unique. It taught me that you can make the best out of even the worst situations.

Montreat, North Carolina is a Presbyterian Youth Conference located in Black Mountain. We meet so many new people, we exchange opinions, and we share our difficulties. We become so much closer to our youth group, which for the week is referred to as our back-home group. Montreat is such a safe place. I know I can truly be myself whether I am with my friends or with strangers.
As I walked into the school, I immediately noticed how old the building was. You can tell sections of the building had been there for decades as doors, lighting and rooms resembled a style more fit for the 1980’s than the 2010’s. However, additions to the building have been added to accommodate size concerns, with those sections having newer structures and being better lit. However, I did notice, at least in my classroom, students had laptops to use, though the laptops were school property.
I will never forget my 8th grade trip to Washington DC. One of my most profound memories was meeting Congressman John Lewis. When I was first informed about the upcoming consultation, I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe I was going to have the opportunity of listening to such a well known person’s inspiring story. After going to many museums on the second day of the trip, we finally made our way on the bus to the Cannon House Office Building, right across from the US capitol.
I'm exploring various areas for retirement, which presently includes Raleigh/Durham, and possibly Asheville, for visits up to six months of the year. Hopefully, I will be lucky to meet acquaintances who are similar in age who are willing to connect without the need for a rushed relationship. I would like to settle down but I am realistic and will admit that I am careful. I am hopeful for a mature commitment in the future. An important aspect is flexibility as my lifestyle involves travel, which is unavoidable.
My Favorite Place to Visit There are many states have I been to in my life. I have made lots of memories with the places I have been to and the people I have went with with. The first time I traveled out of state was when I was three years old.
