My original name is shaylin uhlig i was 15 before I moved to Beacon hills, California. I am now called Talia Burley. I am 16 years old. Just like me and for the same dark secret my friends changed their names to Scott McCall (17 years old), Stiles Stilinski (17 years old), Erica tumblr (16 years old), and Jackson Kanima (17 years old). We are now forced to live at Beacon hills, California. Our life use to be way different: busy, good, and not as exiting before the night my friends invited me to a football game. As usual we played our own football game it was two against two. Scott and i were on a team while stiles and Erica were on the other. It was a Friday with a full moon with little clouds lingering in the sky. Stiles dad work for the police.
no one have said anything for a while then Scott speaks up "where are you in Beacon Hills"when he asks the question he looks me right in the eyes "well like Jasmine told you, i went into a sleep like that before then woke up saying that we need to come here. but i never why or what i saw" when i talk i look at my heads "i saw you and your pack" i continue talking but now looking up at Scott "you were surround by death, i saw all of you dying. and i heard about you, how you had a pack but not alpha and that you had a human and a hunter. i couldn 't just let you die so i thought maybe if i came here i could help"
Last Sunday, I went on the fieldtrip to Oakland to gain a view of the gentrification reality there. Initially my friends were all amazed why I would go there since they had thought there was a dangerous place to visit. Prior to the trip, my impression about Oakland is a city with a longer history than those in south bay, since I noticed there was a Chinatown which was a product of the immigration wave happened centuries ago, and those Cantonese immigrants called Oakland “二埠” (the second port besides San Francisco). After I arrived there, I realized that Oakland was not only a city preserved history but also a wonderland of racial diversity. According to what I learned from the lecture, Oakland was once had its own structure of what kinds
I have lived in East Oakland my whole life. To the majority of people, the mention of East Oakland evokes thoughts of violence, shootings, and gangs. I was one of the people who believed in these stereotypes, and for a particularly long time. I was one of the people who saw Oakland as a wasteland, a place with nothing to offer me, and a place I had nothing to offer to.
Moving to Cleveland was one of the worst days of my life. My mom told us to pack our bags because we were moving to one of the best and most beautiful places in Ohio. I was an idiot and thought Ohio would be just like The Woodlands. I thought they would have winning teams, lots of trees, and comfy neighborhoods with parks, but it was exactly the opposite.
I started my life in Idaho right after I had moved from Colorado. I had only moved to Idaho because my family had lived here and my mom didn’t want to be living away from them. In Colorado I had lived with my mom and aunt. It was just us three till we had moved. After our move we lived with my grandma and my two uncles, as my mom being the oldest she had to take care for five people.
As I stepped on the bus I felt a little nervous. This was my first ride on a city bus. I picked a seat near the front and by a window so I could see where I was going. I just kept thinking, “Don’t miss your stop. Don’t miss your stop.”
I was boarding the plane to go to California but I was actually really scared because I have never been on a plane before and I had to sit on the window seat. Also I had no food because I was hungry and I was watching tv
On my tenth birthday, my mom asked me to invite all my friends from school. Little did she know, that the entire school would show up. When I was my country at the age of fifteen to come to America, I was brought to tears at the airport. About thirty people who I still call my best friends came to say goodbye. Senior year of high school, I walked to prom because all my friends could not fit in the limo.
Growing up in San Diego was fun. The beach was near my high school and it was the ultimate after school hangout. At the beach, you could enjoy the best homemade ice cream at Mootime Creamery. When my friends were hungry, we would head out to the closest taco shop. My favorite dishes are rolled and fish tacos.
Before I achieved victory in becoming the person to earn riches and to eradicate the humanoids, it was a normal American Suburban Life for me. I was a middle class kid who went to a private school, got good grades, had lots of friend and well, was an all american boy. I have brown hair, black eyes, average height, about 140 pounds and was in high school, sophomore and I guess you can say fit. Anyway...
1. If I ever move out of my dillapitated condo that I currently live in I 'm going to move in to a nice Suburban house, where I have room to play with my two kids that my husband bought me. Which is all I ever wanted to do any way. This past summer, my family took a road trip to Southern California to visit family and friends. While we were there I was able to hear stories of when I was younger, as well as a few about my parents. California was in the middle of a large drought, which made the air excruciatingly hot, so we visited the beach to cool off. I walked out onto the very edge of the wave break, the waves pounding against the rocks and spraying me with their salty drops. As I looked towards the horizon, I was reminded of how amazing God 's creation truly is.
Across the Country There will be a journey from Sacramento, California to the state capital of Madison, Wisconsin. This journey will be taken by 4 very different individuals. of course, they're my team vessel for this road trip is a tanky little van built to use as little gas as possible with no flattering to its physical Beauty. Of course, they go over the things they need for when they are up on the trip up. The seminar they plan to intend involving many things from proper police conduct to ways to quicken legal proceedings.
Two summers ago i traveled to California not only to see my cousins but to tour around the area. California is a great place because it has pretty beaches, there are a lot of things to do, and it has very nice weather. There is many sightseeing to do the number of how many famous places you can visit is endless! It's the greatest state i've ever been too, sometimes you get overwhelmed because you never know what you want to do first! Now on to my stories and experiences.
Over the summer, in August, I traveled to California by myself. About a week later, my brother (Austin) came by himself and a couple days after, my cousin Joseph flew over as well. We stayed at my aunt and uncle’s penthouse in downtown Los Angeles. Then on Saturday morning we set off to San Francisco in a rental car for 5 and half hours. The ride was super long but we had some beautiful sights to watch as we drove by on the warm pleasant day.
