I was about 1 year old when we got Bear. We got him a few weeks after Christmas. I’ve been told that we would have had him for Christmas, but the animal shelter would not let him out that early. At first, he was a very bad puppy. Mom says we have a picture of when he chased my older sister onto her play kitchenette. Dad had a very hard time making it so he did not bite everyone who tried to touch him. I remember how Bear would come up behind you and force his head under your arm to get you to pet him. When my family moved to Idaho Bear rode in the trailer all the way from New york; bear has always been kennel sick. If only he would learn to sit or lay down while inside it. First, we used a giant cage thing to keep him in the yard, not long
It was a sunny afternoon we are at the farm in Hillman. I was waiting to go whitetail deer hunting. My dad was talking to his friend Buzz for a very long. Finally my dad was done talking and we started walking out to the edge of a barley field. I was using my dad 's 270.

Considering the fact that I have lived on eastern long island all my life, it would be thought that I’ve been to all the wildlife refuges possible. Strangely enough, I have never even heard of the “Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife Refuge” right off of Noyack Road. This is an upsetting thing after our hike there, it is one of the best refuges I’ve been to in a very long time. The paths are well marked, the bridges and walk ways are well made also the fact that you can literally have wild birds eat out of your hand is amazing. Although this didn’t happen, I’ve been told not just on the hike but by friends that the squirrels and chipmunks will eat out of your hand as well.

When I started coon hunting I was the age of 14 the person that got me in to coon hunting was my dad. The reason why I stared going is because I see him going a lot by himself and I felt that must be pretty alone out there in the dark by yourself. After a year under my belt of just plenty hunting and getting know my dog voice and learning the rules of competition coon hunting My dad ask me if I would like to get in competition coon hunting the first thing that came to mind was heck yes! The next day we was packing are bags and was heading to Kentucky for competition coon hunt it was a 3 hour drive there and when we got there was all sorts of people there just for a coon hunt.
As our life demands more and more of our time, it is important that we find a place that we can go to unplug and become one with nature. Although there are many places to go to unwind, nothing quite compares to a park. When you hear the word “park” you might think of swings and children playing on the merry-go-round. However, what I am referring to is the park in the more natural sense; a State Park. Of the many I have visited in Florida; Fort Clinch is by far my favorite.
One of the most difficult things I have ever experienced is moving to Idaho before my junior year of high school from Utah. Despite this being a common occurrence for people it was hard for me because it uprooted me from the community I had lived in for the past seven years, and the people I loved. It caused me to leave friends that I grew up with and that I couldn’t imagine leaving. And forced me to meet new friends and discover a new place. As I have had time to reflect on my experiences it causes me to realize that it doesn’t matter where you are, or the people you know, but how you react in the situation.
In the summer before my junior year of high school I spent 4 weeks tearing down fences, cutting saplings, staining buildings, learning about my goals and ambitions, and building fences across Montana. When I put in my application for the Montana Conservation Corps I thought it would only be benefit my life by filling up my summer and doing manual labor. However, the first day with my crew proved that assumption wrong, for I learned how to make unlikely friends, how to work hard, and how to be a steward of the land. My experience with the Montana Conservation Corps split my high school experience in half. My first two years I was unmotivated, lazy, and impressionable but through those 4 weeks I learned how to be myself.
Moving to Iowa Falls I moved to Iowa Falls, Iowa when I was in sixth grade. This had a big impact on my life. I was really nervous and scared. I didn’t want to move at all. I was really angry.
When I moved to Utah to Idaho I was three years old. My family and I lived in a brown two floor house in utah with my uncle Martin for a while until he moved out. My cousins, aunts, and uncles used to come visit every single second. We weren 't ever alone. When we moved to Idaho it was just my family living in Idaho in a light brown house with a star on top.
The Hunt It was a gloomy September day and the bear hunting season was about to begin. The old farm truck was loaded full with barrels of cooking grease, assorted candy, birdseed and tubes of sticky frosting. We were to hunt four hours north in a little town called Orr, Minnesota. My family had an 80 acre lot that we used strictly for hunting. My mom volunteered to sit in the stand with me and videotape the hunt.
It is conclusive to me that bears do hibernate. The bear's body during its hibernation does basically everything every other animal does during hibernation. As said in Article One, “...they will hibernate for 4-6 months. ... they do stop eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom.
A Montana Fishing Trip As we walked down to the river, the birds were making a whistling noise, and it was quite annoying because the birds were so loud Will and I could barely hear each other. When we were walking down to the river on a rock that was on the path was a famous quote from Muhammad Ali and it was about the river and it said “Rivers, Ponds, Lakes, and Streams - they all have different names, but they all contain water. Just as religions do - they all contain truths.”
We gave him lot’s of attention. He was pretty scared, being with a bunch of new people in a car. Poncho was nice to me the first few years we had him. I wasn’t the smartest kid when I was younger. I would pester Poncho so much.
