The family reacts in such shock that they leave Gregor in his room and they are scared to even see Gregor in his bug form. While Gregor’s father and mother were both unable to look or even bare to take care of their transformed son, their daughter, Grete, took on the role as care taker of Gregor. The short story is written in such great detail of how Gregor was treated and what happened during the life of his metamorphosis. Throughout the story Grete continued to try to make Gregor’s situation better and it was impressive that she tried to do the things she did for Gregor, but near the end of the story she begins to question whether Gregor is still in the form that used to be her brother. Although the story ends tragically for Gregor, the story portrays Grete to grow stronger in the end and how she became a

Zoos in many ways are much like a prison. All animals need a wide, open space to be animals. “Animals need room to climb, fly, swim, roam, and run”, as stated in the text from “Do Animals Lose in Zoos?”. When these animals that are used to wide ,open spaces get confined in a small space, is gives a negative impact on their behavior. Conversely, most zoos now are building bigger, and better habitats for their animals, nevertheless people are still not letting these animals have the freedom that they were supposed to have when they were in the
The story, Corduroy, written by Don Freeman, published in 1968 is a story that can be interpreted to be about adoption. A bear named Corduroy is for sale in the toy department of a store. He wants badly to be bought and taken home. A little girl comes along and wants to buy him, but her mother says no because Corduroys overalls are missing a button. Sad that he didn’t get taken home on account of his wardrobe, in the middle of the night, Corduroy goes on an adventure in the store to find his missing button.
After about 16 minutes, a vole scurried by to its little home. Please don 't see it, I hoped. It was almost as if he could read my mind though. As soon as I thought it, he did that sudden movement and got the vole. My peephole and his window line up together, so that when he is inside I can still him and everything he is doing.
Also, she picked up a stray dog even when the author quoted “it made it’s way with ears tucked, its tail between it’s legs, shivering” perhaps another child would walk away scared, but she picked it up. And at the end she cried because the dog was going to the pound. Another reason Doris is mature is because she is observant. She noticed that her family is not the richest because the mom was worrying about food. In addition the da was missing work (nine days)
A feral child is a human that has lived without love and support from their parents, also they have lived far away from human contact since they were little. Oxana Malaya was cared by wild dogs at the age of 3 because of her parents’ negligence. Subsequently, she learned to walk on all fours, growled, bark, and sniffed at her food before she ate it. She was found 5 years later, and she could hardly speak. There are many effects of the negligence towards these children, for example Oxana, looked much older than what she really was.
They claim to protect and preserve endangered wildlife breeding or conduct research on animals to expand on knowledge about wildlife, but in reality, they just lock animals in small cages for thousands or millions of people to gaze upon the animals, which leave them annoyed, disturbed, or even depressed. The Grandview Aquarium is a zoo located inside of a shopping mall that serves as a selfie booth where people come to take selfies with a polar bear named, Pizza. The aquarium is home to “a polar bear, five walrus calves, six young beluga whales, and two Arctic foxes.” (Sims, Alexandria) Pizza the polar bear becomes depressed as people constantly bang on the polar bear’s enclosure to get his attention for a selfie every day. As each day passes by, he becomes disturbed as he’s trapped in a small enclosure with no peace. Other animals at the zoo also show signs of stereotypic behavior, Arctic foxes pace back and forth and scratch at the walls aggressively as if they are trying to attack something or someone.
Jones and his men fail and the animals keep going about their lives. But when Snowball decided to bring to light his idea of a windmill that could power the farm and decrease the amount of work days the animals had to put in Napoleon decided to come out of the shadows and show everyone what he has really been planning. Earlier Napoleon took a litter of puppies away from their mother for private teaching in this he trained the dogs to do certain mean and terrible things when given a certain command. He uses this against Snowball and Snowball is never heard from
"Daddy! Look what Winnie is doing," Christopher said. "He sure loves to eat, but if you stay in the exhibit for too long, you could be the bear 's next meal," explained Mr. Milne. "Okay," Christopher moaned. A few days later, Mr. Milne surprised his son.
