I was sitting in the classroom on a normal Monday or so I thought it was a normal Monday. We normally go to the library but for some reason we didn’t. Instead my teacher started giving us a worksheet to do and I really really don 't like worksheets but this one was strange I could not describe it but something wasn 't right the page was written weird and I know I have not done anything like it before.
As I was working on this worksheet I notice that there was some weird questions on there like. Where is my dream place to visit? Why would I want to visit there? Why would it be my dream place to go to? I went up to my teacher and said that this was weird and I ask her if this would be graded. She look at me and said no she just wanted to figure out more about her students. When I was finishing up I heard a loud commotion outside my teacher said that we had to evacuate. Outside was a PLANE it was HUGE. All of the sudden the door opened and this stairway came down and my Mom was coming down it and said that I needed to come with her on to the plane there was a

All us get back on the plane and look and see how we crashed. I was going to were the pilot flew the plane I look at the control panel and we were out of gas but how could we get gas all the way out here. Everyone had tons of ideas but we settled on to convert plants into gas. So we were going to mash them up and take the energy from the plants to fuel up the plane. Everyone went raceing to find plants and herbs and anything that was plant like. We got rocks and would rub the plant until we could get it onto a paste. When it was a paste we could then water it down until it kind of like gas just green. Now we started to pour it into the gas tank. My Step Dad started it up and it WORKED!!!!! So we all hoped in the plane and got seated in the plane got a couple feet off the ground and then we slammed to the
The plane flying 30,000 feet in the air without a pilot is real trouble. Before the pilot had a heart attack, he taught Bryan the basic flying controls. Bryan is 30,000 feet in the air alone; he tried his best to land the airplane where there were
First, Brian uses good survival strategies by using trial and error. He used this strategy well. For example, he started steering the plane up and down to keep it steady. He used trial and error by doing it over and over again until he did it correctly.
They eventually made it to the base but had to land somehow, “Louie had an idea. What if they tied parachutes to the plane, pitched them out the windows at touchdown, and pulled the rip cords.”
The day was 9/11/01 a plane crashed into the tower there 's was black smoke everywhere at the time I was 12 years old. And I was surrounded by fire and my leg was smashed under a desk I was in pain. There were four other people that were not dead or passed out on the floor. There was blood everywhere I was on floor 77 and the four other people.
He strongly believed LP Gas would be the next big thing and that it would change the future. He begged his friend’s dad to let him work at the company so he could learn more about the gas. From 5 in the morning, they would bring the empty cylinders and fill them up with gas. They would then drive back to the company to build and then deliver the gas to homes. In the evening, they would sell the gas.
When we were trying to cross the river the current picked up and I fell a couple of times because it started raining, and I could feel the rocks when I hit the ground and I could taste the fishy water. But there was no lightening so we kept swimming in the river for a long time. While we swimming down stream Will saw a bridge and he wanted to go there. Right when we saw the bridge it thundered it was so loud that I could hear it like it was right in my ear.
I was putting my Halloween costume on when I heard something moving in my closet. I turn to the closet door half dressed with a curious look on my face. In my mind, it being Halloween, I thought I was just hearing things or my little brother was playing a prank on me. I walk out the door to my room, down the stairs and as I was about to walk out the front door my father caught me, “Where are you going?” he asked “Out, it’s
The ultimate goal of justice is slowly but surely been achieved today for the black community. A day that heavily influenced this achievement was in 1963 during the March on Washington, in front of the Lincoln Memorial. The man who changed lives that day only wanted those who heard him to apply his message to their lives. In his famous, “I Have a Dream” speech Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. uses repetition, specific, illustrative detail and examples, allusions, and figurative language in order to amplify his message that his audience needed to bond together in order to fight for civil rights and justice now. Dr. King emphasizes the fact that his dream is to achieve racial equality and justice through the use of repetition.
My parents woke up and rushed outside while I ran to the phone and dialed 911, when the phone was ringing I couldn’t stop shaking in terror, the 911 operator picked up, “911 where is your..”, “There is a fire at my neighbor house, our address is 1564 Cashmere street” I yelled before the operator could finish then I hung up the phone. I ran outside and yelled at my parents that I called 911. In the meantime my dad was running to get the garden hose to extinguish the fire while my mom ran to the neighbors’ to tell them of the fire. Just after I told them what I did I could hear the screams of the siren howl through the cold night. They were on their way.
My whole body was paralyzed and at that moment I was convinced that I was going to die. Daunting thoughts began to swell within my head and the yearning to cry was only thriving as the minutes passed. Sleeping had become a struggle ever since my parents had announced their divorce two months prior. Dealing with the consistent fighting of my parents during the day was enough to make me want to sleep eternally at night. However, after experiencing sleep paralysis for the first time I was then introduced to the enchanting world of lucid dreaming.
Can you remember the last dream you had? Maybe you could fly or were falling down an endless dark tunnel. Perhaps you were awakened by a horrific dream in the middle of the night. They are usually accompanied by muscle spasms and twitches of the entire body. Although these dreams occur while we are falling asleep, they interpret a completely different meaning.
Everyone holds a place in their heart where they find themselves the happiest, the most comfortable, and the most themselves. What is your special place? One place where I find I can clear my mind and let go of everything is the cold setting of the Rim Park volleyball courts. The countless hours that I spend within the complex remind me of what I have been through during provincials, and reminds me of the many things that contribute to make my special place a whole. When I reflect on the place I love most, there are many characteristics that bring it all together and make my place so unique.
That morning I woke up early as I had to be at school for 8am. I was very excited. When I got to school the buses that were to take us were already there and teachers were buzzing around making sure that everything was in order and that all students going had their consent forms. Before we left the teachers gathered all the students and told us to be careful, to stay together also for us to remember our manners, we also said a prayer as it was a custom seeing that it is a Presbyterian School. As we boarded the buses, my friends and I all headed to the back of the bus as it was considered for some
Who am I, where am I going, and how do I plan to get there? That is a really good question. To begin with, I am the only child of Martha Ramirez and Rosario Ramirez. I come from a family where not a lot have finished school, but are grateful for what they do have. Throughout my life I have learned to be grateful for everything that I have, to be someone in life, and to follow your heart no matter the situation.
