As graduation approaches, I continue to look forward in starting my journey in nursing. By graduating high school with my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), this allows me to have a jumpstart on my career. I will continue to try my best at everything until my goals have been accomplished, just like Angie did. Both myself and Angie has numerous similarities in the career of nursing, including what motivated us, why we wanted to go into it, and how it has affected our lifestyles. Nursing requires human beings
I began my career as a registered nurse with now 7 years experience. I have worked 3 different nursing jobs while gaining valuable knowledge from each one. Essentially, I have discovered that some of the best nurses are educators. Yes, nurses are primarily caregivers, but they also have an important secondary role in providing education for patients, the community, and each other. I am eager to become involved in the earliest stages of my students’ journeys to becoming employees in the healthcare sector.
They also have great hours, and have a mobility outlook on understanding things. When you go to college nursing grads have the opportunity to have a longer education and an optimized orientation experience as a new hire. The opportunities for learning how to be a Registered Nursing is an endless thing. No matter where you go there will always be a place for Registered Nurse needed. Registered Nurses are a big part of the leadership in the workplace.
I have helped my mother, who is a CNA, with my uncle who has MS. When I was helping her was when I noticed that becoming a nursing assistant will be my long-term job. I have learned so much from my mother and other CNA’s. I want to continue my education, so I can help the people in need. This paper will explore the job description, requirements, and salary expectation, including the path for a nursing assistant.
I was ten when my mom decided to become a Medical Assistant (MA), and she would always take me to her classes with her and i remember I was just always so mesmerised by the idea of the human body. The courses I have to take are mainly courses that I need to fulfill graduation credits and the courses that are required for med school. The main courses are like
Being a nurse practitioner, there are jobs always available and you can pretty much find one anywhere in the United States, which means I would not have to relocate. The currently salary for a nurse practitioner is $99,865 . I feel that I am suitable for this choice because my family has had many medical problems and things of that nature. After losing an uncle at 38 of a heart attack and an aunt at 39 with a massive stroke to the brain I
Introduction: As a first year student I have very specific goals in mind that I hope to achieve through my work in college. My main hopes for the future are that I pass all of my exams in the coming years, graduate and receive my honours degree in general nursing, become a registered nurse and finally get a job as a nurse. Throughout this essay, I have detailed my strengths and the opportunities that will help me finalise these goals along with my weaknesses and the threats that will hinder my progress. Strengths: Caring: Caring is one of the most important words used to describe a nurse. Larson (1984) defines caring as the core, essence and distinguishing attribute of nursing.
One of my most important lifetime goals is to become a CRNA. A CRNA is an advanced registered nurse who has a board certification in anesthesia. Becoming a CRNA is very hard work and requires a lot of dedication and experience. As long as I can remember, it has always been clear to me that I want a job in the medical field. As soon as I entered high school, I started taking all the “medical” and science classes, such as principles of health science, that were required in order to take a CNA program, which is a certified nursing assistant, during my senior year.
I have taken care of most of the patients I have had since day one as yes’ there are long term patients not short term. The Amedisys Hospice service that I work for is special, loving, kind and caring; which we provide comfort and support for our patients, which are facing life- limiting illnesses for each family member and loved ones. The reason I chose the topic to write and tell about my story to tell; is because I am a Hospice aide that I experience each week days. I travel from home, to home, work at facilities, and work in the office some. There are lots of our patients choose to be home for their comfort of their illnesses; and some that aren’t able, or do not have the time for their loved ones; they chooses the facility’s such as the nursing homes, not stating that they do not want to care for them in their home, because they have busy schedules or what
Pursuing a career as a nurse has been my primary goal since I was a child. I have been doing a lot of things that would help me get in and do well in the field of nursing in every way possible. Due to the extensive amount of my academic and professional work experiences, I am assured that I can do better than most people with the same goal. There are so many high schoolers who do not really think about what they’re going to become until the last minute. Unlike them, I have decided to take as many health and science related classes as possible, that would help me increase my academic experiences and be ahead than most students.
The most important one that will get her where she wants to be in life, is graduating college and getting her RN. She knows that having a steady job with steady income is very important, so of course she is going to move up in the health care field. This leads me to her second goal which is becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. It has to deal with anesthesiology and she is super excited to start helping people recover. Her last goal is to work at UAMS.

I use this on a daily basis by being an advocate for my patients and or their families. I also use it to provide comfort to my patients and their families. There have also been times when I have used it to comfort my fellow employee. Example One-Advocate One of the biggest roles of being a Registered Nurse is being a patient advocate. As a nurse,
When I picture myself, I have faced many challenges in my life and realized how much i’ve grown and changed from them, just in the last year. The most important challenge that I am proud of myself for accomplishing is becoming a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA). Obtaining this certificate was a huge step in my life from childhood to adulthood. I became an LNA because my mother encouraged me to since she knew I always wanted to be a nurse ever since I was a child and I love helping other people out. At seven in the morning on July 20, 2015 I arrived at LNA Health Careers School in Concord to a start of a big step in my life, not knowing what to really expect.
I am interested in your New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston and recently obtained my MA RN license in August 2015. I choose to be an RN because I love learning about the anatomy and physiology of the human body and working with people. When I was a little girl, I would watch the Discovery Health channel instead of watching cartoons. In high school, I became interested in social justice work when I did a month long volunteer service trip to India.
