MY FIRST DIRTBIKE
It was about noon on a hot sunny spring day, about two hours before lunch, when my Grandpa, Sister and I went to my Uncle Freddy’s house. There was a lite cool breeze. The trees leafs where as green as newly grown grass. The sun was burning bite in the sky. We could hear the freighters for awhile, long and low, like a big, big man talking. I could them through the trees moving side to side in the wind. In the tree’s a bird answered the freighters, than a second bird answered the freighters. They sang out freighters and birds, for a real long time, the freighters and birds slowly started to get quieter and quieter till it was silent.
Let’s rewind to when we were pulling into my Uncle Freddy’s driveway. I thought to myself what
Around age 10 my dad got me one of those little badass compound bow beginner kits. Of course, the first month I went around our land sticking arrows in anything that could get stuck by an arrow. Did you know that a 1955 40 horse Farmall tractor will take 6 rounds before it goes down? Tough sumbich. That got boring, so being the 10 yr.
A Colonial Family’s Reaction to the Stamp Act It was a busy afternoon and the sound of horses stomping and people shouting rang through my ears. Then came the heavy footsteps of Father entering the house. We were a middle class family that lived in a single story house. Our house was small and we had a little farm to raise animals. My brother John and I were silent in the dusty parlor waiting to hear his cheerful voice echo throughout the house.
Let me tell you something you already know life isn 't always about sunshine and rainbows, sometimes it can be really hard and not always the greatest. It isn’t always easy when challenging yourself to accomplish new goals. One goal I am working on is becoming a barrel racer. I am seeing a lot of failure and I don 't give up on my dreams because it is my goal to keep on going till I achieve my goals that I set for myself. Why one is because of fear and failure and what if it doesn 't work out for myself and the fear of not getting to be successful at my dream.
The Sumner Valley bike track amazed me. So first there is a starting hill, then there is a triple, next is a table top, after that there is a double and first turn and then there is triple then two doubles and the second turn then here comes the complicated part table two rollers step up double step down triple the third turn and finally two rollers and then a table finish line. When I was at the lumberjack nationals it was the summer of the fourth grade.
The Day I “Stole” Steve’s Bike Here I am, sitting in a jail cell on a not so normal Saturday. Oh, by the way, I am Jim West. I am 45 years old and still live with my mother, in San Dimas, California.
Dirt Bike Catastrophe Some four years ago on a small loop road, county road 355, hidden somewhere in the weeds was a convolution maze of dirt bike trails. It couldn’t have been but six months since my step brother, Austin and I started riding dirt bikes daily. We were nothing short of motocross eligible teenagers, jumping feet off the ground, sliding every turn, and being so dirty at the end of the day that two showers were necessary. All of these things changed very suddenly in a wreck that changed our lives.
Trees stood underneath, but there was one Treaty Oak Tree that stood out. This tree had think branches and it was as big as a circus tent. The trees had a strong scent and there was a faint smell of Orange Blossom’s in the distance. Tiny bugs flew into my mouth as the plane zoomed through the air.

And sometimes they will use a rubber band
Remember to always pay attention to the surroundings. To begin, when I was 8 years old my mom and dad decided I was old enough to have a dirt bike. It was a crf 70f. “At age 5 or 6, they can be zipping around without training wheels and even taking small jumps on small dirt bikes” (Dirt Bike Planet). The second I rode it I was in love.
One of the things in my life that have challenged me is my first time on a roller coaster. It all started when one summer we decided we were going to go on vacation to Salt Lake City. We would try and find an amusement park to go to. We found one named Lagoon. We got there and they had a lot of roller coasters.
I still remember the day I got my first car. It was one of the most exciting, yet terrifying days of my life. I remember my mom asking me where I was because I was in school that day and began to freak out because she told me that I was going to get a car soon. The moment I saw my new car was breathtaking. What I was seeing before me was beyond even my imagination for what I wanted.
One incident I can recount when I experienced failure was when I joined Cross Country. Since, I can remember I have always excelled at everything I did, from my academics to dance class to music lessons. When I entered into my freshman year of high school, I decided I would to join an athletic team in order to keep myself occupied outside of academics. I figured joining a sport would be another good attribute to add to my resume.
I was in 4th grade going to 5th grade I was a big kid now. I could do whatever dad could do. If he could ride a four wheeler in the forest I could to. My Dad gave the ok to this idea, and my Mom, well she finally went along with a nervous look on her face.
I was finally stepping outside my comfort zone learning to ride a bike. The most memorable time in my life was the time my dad taught me how to ride my first bike. At the age of six he taught me the basics of riding a bike. Along with rules that were set in order to help me be responsible with my bike. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels.
My First Car The first I ever had was an old model of the brand Toyota. It was color blue and was second-hand so I got it at a cheaper price. For a second-hand car, it was in a really good condition.
