On my first year of football, it was the 7 game of the season and it was my names day. So in the 2nd or 3rd quarter the had done a pass to me and i scored a touchdown, and then defense went on the field and we had made the other team hadn't punted the ball so we had a turnover on downs and we did some running plays and they weren't getting yards so the couch picked a pass play to me again. I had ran the route and had caught the ball. Then I ran passed some people and they didn't catch me so i had ended up scoring again, and i had done that four times. The end of the game the score was 0-27 i think. So since we had won my uncle made a deal with the manager or owner of a place called Red Hot Cravings, so he treated my whole team there. Since
Because I was late to the game, I missed the warm ups. My coach did not start me because I had just played in a game at 9:00 am. I sat on the bench watching our team lose so finally my coach put me back in. We started to come back and then we got a big lead. Then my coach sat me back down.
They ran the ball to my side of the field, and I made a tackle that resulted in a fumble that led to us scoring. The crowd in the stadium were ecstatic, I had people calling my name from the stands. I was happy at the time, but knew it was to be short lived, because the game wasn’t over. Their was still enough time on the clock for them to tie the game back up. I was almost proven
Coach Harold said to me, and the team “,Pratt” this last minute was left for you to get us this win and a championship! I thought to myself “I’ve done this all year”, in this game I had 4 touchdowns, and scored most of
I will never forget that moment, when I caught the ball I took off, I juked to the left causing my other teammate to fall then I hit a spin move and cause another teammate to miss, I then ran for the touchdown. Ever since that moment the coach started me at running back every single practice and game. For it to be my first year playing contact football I excelled tremendously in our league gaining recognition from coaches that taught higher weight classes and also coaches from different
Some people would talk trash to me just because they didn't make the team. I just ignored them, they were just jealous that I was a lot better than them. At lunch there was an enormous line for tickets, they were five dollars each. After lunch I got called to go to the office, I went and they gave me my game shirt. I was alarmed when I got number 10, Mr.Dejo said I deserved it.
The very next day I had a baseball game. It was at Liberty Shores in Linden at around 6:00. I was just shocked I made it to the game and was able to play in it. But I was the first on there because I was really excited and nervous for this game. I was so nervous that I just wanted to play amazing for my grandma.
As I stood there in the huddle after practice breathing heavily with sweat dripping from my body I listened as Coach Hegsted gave one of his motivational talks. He was talking about how we have no reason to hold anything back or wait for someone else to get the job done. As I stood there, with coach’s voice in the back ground, I thought to myself he is right this is probably going to be the last time I pad up with this group of guys and play with them. It was this day that I had learned a very valuable life lesson that I had never thought of before. I had played football every single year that I possibly could starting with that NYFL league in elementary.
I have been playing soccer since before I could even walk. In fact, I joined my first soccer team at the age of five. Soccer is something I have always loved and been passionate about. When I was on the co-ed recreation league teams I was one of the only girls on my team, so I had to compete with boys who doubted me and thought I was weak. I worked hard during practice and out of practice to become better and, eventually, I became more aggressive than them.
As a freshman, and a coach 's son, I came onto the football team and took a starting spot from a junior, who had started in that spot all of last season. There were quite a few players that weren 't happy with the decision, but I felt as if I 'd earned the spot. I knew that the only way i would gain their approval was to stand out. All season I listened to, "He only starts because he is the coaches son" but I tried to block it all out. The junior, who 's spot I took, took all his anger out on me in practice, taking every cheap shot possible while people weren 't paying attention.
Fast forward to the Fall of 2014, and I am in my 3rd yr in football, and I was killing it. I was starting cornerback, andwe won a championship. And I just went to Tennessee for a football tournament with kids that were a grade above me. Everything was going so well for me, but the one thing I was missing was a touchdown.
Our record was 1.0 and we were looking for the win to be 2.0. Every game I have a goal, and that goal was to score the biggest touchdown of the game, but the team we were going against probably wouldn 't let that happen. But who cares I still believed I could do it. Before the game we had to do a roster check to make sure that we were all on the team.
At practice, we got our jersey numbers and position. I was the best number in the world which is #9. I also found out that I was a starter, an offensive
After the game my nose felt like it had been ran over by a truck. Then in the fifth grade he asked me, “Do you want to be the ball boy for the varsity team?” I replied, “Yes”. I got to go on the field of Hershey Park Stadium for the Cocoa Bean Game.
It was an amazing game that we played. We ended up winning 8-0. I scored 3 goals which in soccer is called a hat trick in soccer. Great Memories Last
The first time on a football field and i was very hyped about it cause i got to play and the coach put me as starter because i was the biggest one on the field. The very first play we got sacked but are left lineman didn't stop the ball they got pushed over and we got sacked. The ball was on the 25 yard line and we were trying to get to the fifteen yard line to get the first down and we were short 10 yards but we could still get cause if we work hard you play hard.
