Hi Reneld, On Thursday, June 8th, I had talked to an advisor about schedule revision. She said that I do not need to revise my schedules, since there was a mistake with my program completion; that I am working on Associate of Arts Degree instead of AS2 degree. She said she already notified you about this. Have you received this notification?
For our final project for this class, my partner and I decided to Interview Jose Hernandez who is my brother in law. Jose Hernandez came to the United States at the age of 21 and he’s been living in the U.S for almost 11 years already. We decided to interview him because we felt that we can connect with him if we were able to do a different person with a different ethnicity which was our plan at first but, because of time we needed to find someone fast. Jose has a great story to tell us about his life because he came by himself to the U.S without having any family living here, we want to know more about how hard was for him to support himself financially and emotionally in this country without any family near him. With any more further to say
Dr. Edward Kammerer, MD is a good family friend. We have been friends for more than 17 years! When he heard I had a goal of job shadowing an internal medicine physician to see if that is the path I want to take, he kindly offered a day when I could follow him around and see what his typical work day is like. I met him at 8:00 a.m. on a Friday. When the day first began he had some paperwork to fill out and catch up on.
Crackle, pop the fire sounded as I placed new logs on top of the hot embers. This was the fire the children of my village sat around and told stories before they went to sleep, and tonight was no different. All of their eyes stared at me expectantly as they waited for me to start telling them a story. “Two Rivers Running, tell us the Story of the Great Battle again,” the little ones asked. All eyes were on me as I sat down next to them, everyone silent as I told them the story of the Great Battle.
My interviewee’s father did not immigrant to the USA until ten years later, which caused a lot of trauma in Akadina’s life because she did not have a father figure during her most difficult time, which was her teenage years. While hearing Akadina speak about the structure of her family, it allowed me to see the differences between our families. Akadina was raised for a couple of years in a traditional home were there were a father and a mother. On the other hand, I was raised by a single mother and I have four siblings. I did not meet my father until I was 21 years old.
For my week 2 24-hour recall I interviewed my husband E.S. During a conversation held with E. Salcedo (E. Salcedo, oral communication, September 2015) I was able to gather that he is a 42-year-old male Mexican American. He currently is working with machinery and doing maintenance work at different power plants. Furthermore, E.S. job requires heavy lifting and going up and down stairs. He recently started running and exercising three times a week.
I interviewed James Small in front of 4018 Brookshire Ct. Mr. Small stated he came to his dad’s residence to see him. Mr. Small stated that his dad’s ex-girlfriend or roommate had moved some of her items out the day before and was to move the rest out today. Mr. Small stated that when he arrived Emily was there with a group of people.
My first interviewee was my sister Alejandra and my second interviewee was a friend name Fernando. Alejandra is currently a senior at California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) studying social work and child development and Fernando is a junior studying Latin American Studies at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). They both are undocumented students who are trying to pursue a higher education. The difference between Fernando and Alejandra is that they both came to the U.S. at a different age. Fernando was aware of the dangers, he remembers what he went through and he knows what he was sacrificing.
I joined him at the table on a porch on a Saturday afternoon. As he sat there, with a smile on his face and gulping down his favorite drink, cold beer, he told me stories about his life. My best friend’s dad, Wilson, reminisced the good and bad days from his childhood to present day. The good days where he immigrated here to the US and had the opportunity to a better life for himself and his family. Whereas the bad days, he grew up working long hours a day since he was a child.

For this paper I decided to interview my father. The first thing I asked him was where he was born and he said he was born in California, but he and his family moved many times. After this I asked him what the social class of his community was and he said lower class because they lived in mobile houses and at one point they lived in a tent which in my opinion was really shocking because his parents had to lie to other people saying that they were camping so that the authorities didn’t take away him and his sisters from his parents. When I asked him how his household supported itself he said it was his father doing plumbing work and my dad doing work and giving the money he earned to his parents and when his family was homeless his father had to do multiple jobs
Throughout the course of history, authors incorporated events of their life, milestones in time, and their personal opinions and views in their work. Stephen King is a prime example of an author that does such. By writing about his life, his era, and his opinions, he develops an interesting and unique storyline in each of his novels. By focusing on events of his time period and life, Stephen King develops his philosophy which is presented in his novel The Shining.
fun playing beach volleyball and surfing on our boogie boards. Sadly, there was a storm coming, but the good part was that we were getting homemade spaghetti for dinner. The following day we we are heading our way to see NASA. On the way there we saw a huge cruise ship, it was pretty cool. When we got to NASA, they recently changed things and now on no visitors are allowed inside the museum only people who are in the military now can go.

Leadership interview I was given the chance to interview Hailey Hunt who has a position on student council. She taught me about her position and how she has been able to help others. She has taught me the many sides of being a leader and how it can be quite trying at times. I have found interviewing a leader is very different from researching about a leader.
