In fifth grade I was still very into gymnastics but I was starting to wonder how my life would be significantly different the thought scared me and I boxed it up. I had two of the best teachers that year, Mrs Patton and Mrs Bruno. Mrs Bruno was all about going green and I loved that I talked to my mom and she got curbside recycling to start coming to our neighborhood I also did work with her on tyercecycling witch is upcycleing and its changed how I live, we recycle everything now we produce more recycling than trash. Me and 2 of my friends from school I made decided to make a Charity group, we would raise money selling homemaaid brownies for foundation 56. Being a gymnast I attended the LSu gym meets and every year Brady James would raise …show more content…

My friends kind of started a band, but we have only played together once. The field trip and field day were very relaxed and everyone was happy witch to me is the most buetiful thing. By the end of the school year I had a goo solid 4 friends that I now will always be my friends, there not problematic and focused. I did science fair again my goal was 3rd in regional, I got 1st at school 2ed in regional and 3rd in state which is huge to me, I had the third best molecular biology project for my age group in the state. When i was a little i was going to gymnastics and i see and smell the sweat from how hard the cheerleaders where working and doing there routine and i asked my mom "can i do that" and she said "of course". That was when i was four years young and it has been a long and great exprience.
Joining band had an immense and almost immediate impact on my life. Before being in band I had never had a talent that I felt completely confident in. I enjoyed practicing and spent many hours trying to improve my musical ability. In
Music makes everything better, whether it is playing an instrument or just listening to other artists. I started playing violin when I was in third grade and switched over to the cello in seventh grade. There is a picture on my heart map of me and Sophia rehearsing for our first competition at solo and ensemble. The first teachers that I started both of my instruments was Sierra Gilman, who is now in college, and Ms. Bloom, my orchestra teacher. Ms. Bloom, inspired me the most though.
The curtain rises and the stage lights come up. I’m standing in the wings, adrenaline pumping through my veins. I simultaneously feel nervous and excited as I am about to step on stage for my first ballet solo. This is my chance to prove myself. I smooth my tutu, take a deep breath, and walk onstage.
The moment my neck hit the spring floor and my body shook with impact, I thought I would never have the courage to tumble again. Even with getting a concussion from tumbling I was able to still manage to get past that setback and achieve my current and future goals through practicing. I believe that practice will create courage. Starting in seventh grade I took upon a new challenge, cheerleading. I had never done anything in my life that was related to cheer other than when I was a child doing gymnastics.
An interest I am most proud of is my career in competitive gymnastics. When I first began gymnastics, I did it recreationally, but I soon fell in love with it and decided to compete. I am now into my fourth competition season. I have competed at meets all over California, and have practiced hundreds of hours. Gymnastics requires hard work and dedication, but it is worth it because I genuinely love the sport.
My personal narrative Wow quitting dance was like leaving my family. But sometimes it won't hurt to try to try something new or having spare time on my hands. So I started dance when I was four. It was so hard to concentrate or even pay attention because of all the things going through my head.
One day I was at my gymnastics meet, it had lots of equipment pushed and stacked against the walls. I had my Leotard on that had ¾ inch sleeves and lots of sparkles and I love the sparkles. My mom was the loudest one in the stands. “GO LILY!”
What is professionalism in the context of being a student in a doctor of physical therapist degree program? Professionalism means having respect for yourself, your colleagues, the material you are learning and your professors. It also means becoming the best you that you can be and possessing admirable traits such as integrity, compassion, and a thirst for knowledge. Through my experiences as a gymnastics coach and working in a physical therapy office, I learned what professionalism is. This has prepared me for the challenges I expect as a student in a doctoral program.
It was a sunny August evening when it happened. After several months of grieving the departure of my beloved dance teacher I had finally figured out how I was going to move on, I was going to move to a new dance studio and start over. Everything seemed to be falling into place, All I had left to do was tell my best friend and former teammate, I brought it up as we were sitting in a quiet little park by my house. I was expecting her to understand that this was something I needed to do for me and that it wasn’t anything personal. Based on the screaming match that followed soon after I broke the news I’d say that I was a little bit off the mark on that assumption.
All throughout my life, Gymnastics has been one of my greatest passions. I have had so many amazing and unforgettable memories in the gym. One of the best memories I have ever had, was actually in the gym when I accomplished my round off back handspring back tuck. It was such an amazing memory because a lot of hard work and time was put into this skill. It was great to finally realize and see that everything I had put into this skill was now paying off and coming out.
At a young age, I constantly wanted to express myself through music. I always found a way to incorporate music into my daily life, whether it be by blasting my favorite music, creating my own funky songs, or even having the opportunity to participate in my elementary school choir. My love for music actually took flight after I had decided to join my elementary school choir, however, in my opinion, it is not the most transformative moment in my life. After elementary
In our eighth grade classroom we were asked to take a quiz that would recommend some career clusters for us based on our likes and skills. We would then pick a career that interested us and research it. For the final part we would find someone in that career to interview about it. Going into this project I knew that I would pick being a dancer considering this is my first year in the junior company which is a company that Grand Rapids Ballet offers to let it’s students get a taste of what company life tastes like. So far I have really enjoyed junior company and it’s definitely something
Even with my moods, whether it is sad or mad, music will help me get through it. It has absolutely been an enormous part of my life and who I am. Thus, this is to say that I have musical talent. I am in a high school marching band, where I play any piano-like instrument. My viewpoint with music has come to a simple conclusion, without it, I would not know who I am or what to do with my life.
I became mesmerized. When I got to be about five years old, I started gymnastics at the little gym. The little gym is a small gymnastics gym for toddlers who want to recreationally do gymnastics. I don’t remember much about the experience, but I do recall loving it. My mom would come sit to watch me and an hour later it was already time to leave, but I never wanted to.
