I remeber the mornings mamaa would make hot pockets for breakfast and i also remember when i lost my taste buds because that hot pocket was just a little too hot. Those nights when we would just eat popcorn all night watching all the new movies we had bought. Sometimes we would just see who could stay up longer I would always win so one night I thought I would pour whipped cream of her face while she was sleeping. The next morning I heard her scream my name , oh boy the of sound of her voice didn 't sound as if she was happy. I got up and went to the living room where mamaa was awaiting.
And Jeannette and her siblings always picked their lunches from the cafeteria trash at school. “We haven’t had anything to eat, but popcorn for three days”, “Mom that ham’s full of maggots. Don’t be so picky, just slice off the maggoty parts”. This can be likened to poverty in
When I woke up in the morning I started the cycle. This cycle was eating breakfast then going to school and going to bed and repeating. The only differnece in this cycle was the occational time that my parents were fighting and throwing things at each other. Even this was beginning to be the norm. My small family lived in the rainy city of Tillamook Oregon.
Waking up on a Sunday morning was routine, each Sunday I’d get up at Seven-thirty in the morning and get dressed. Running around last minute trying to get makeup on I realized my sister wasn 't even out of bed yet. So heading over to her room, I found her with the bed covers over her face. I remember pestering my sister to get up and finally she flipped over the covers. Achieving the goal of waking her up, I turned around to leave the room when she said, “I crashed the car.” My first thought was exactly what, “what did you say?” Pulling her face into the mattress she muffled and said, “I snuck out and accidentally crashed the car and left it there.” It sounded too good to be true and immediately I checked out the garage.
I was extremely tired. All i wanted was to throw my alarm clock across the room and sleep for the rest of the day. I could smell my mom making breakfast, it was pancakes my favorite. I finally got up after smelling that. While I was getting ready, was kinda excited to be in the sixth grade.
When we got back into camp we were debriefed and assigned to the part of the camp where the crews that had finished slept. The last night at the camp was a good one, we headed into the small town 15 minutes away from the camp and I ordered a huge pizza and stuffed my face. Once we got back to the camp there was a closing ceremony that involved a lot of indian and scouting hokus pokus that I didn't care for, all I could think about was how I was going to be headed home in less than 12 hours. After about 2 hours of speeches and stories it was finally time for bed, and for once in my life I was ready to get up early and start the

But, we went home and gave the medicane to my dog. Everyday, twice a day, we got the peanut butter out of the cabinet and smothered the blue and white colored pills with peanut butter so, Bailey didn’t taste them. Everything was going ok until one morning, it was red, white and, blue day at school and Mandy and I were getting ready for school just like we did every other day but, what we didn’t know was that this was going to be a day we would never forget. On my way downstairs I opened the door to my parents room. It squeaked as I opened it just like every other day.
