I thought about writing this long and exaggerated speech about me leaving Maryland but I think I 'll just keep it short and sweet. These past few months people constantly asked me why I wanted to move somewhere I do not know anyone. My response, I know Jesus! No matter where I go I have a friend that is watching over and protecting me. This is a picture of my closet door, in my apartment, at Morgan. Everyday I would wake up and read a positive note, affirmation, or scripture. These notes changed my way of thinking and allowed me to invite positivity into my life. It was not until then that I realized my true potential and ability to reach every goal I set. A few months back I set a goal to relocate to Texas before the end of summer. Today, I
During the reading of chapter 1 by Brenda Combs I became tearful with her story of how the circumstances in her life changed by imploring help from the Lord to heal her from her addictions and homelessness. After she took her decision of staying positive, and setting up goals, and with determination that she and her son deserved more than a simple paycheck. Those thoughts were her inspiration for improvement, and working very hard in her dreams without giving up. The poem she wrote for her son inspired me to work harder and continue working with love and respect for self and others as always do and being an example for my daughter. With this article I was able to identify many of my areas that I have to work- on and also I was able to identify
When I Went To Florida I went to Florida after 4th grade in the summer. When we went to Florida, Jaxon my sisters, brother came with us. The night before we left he stayed at my house. When we left the next morning we left at 3:00 A.M. While we were on our way we both had to sit in the very back of the car because my sisters came with us. The ride there was not fun at all.
I 'm a laid back guy, who enjoys spending time with my friends, trying new things, and meeting new people. I love living in the city since there 's always something to do. I 'm an engineer and enjoy my job and its challenges; but, I spend all day in an office and by the end of the day I 'd rather go out and have some fun than go straight home and call it a night. I 'm from a military family, so I grew up overseas and lived in the mid-west after college; but I 've always call Maryland home. I love adventures, city life, the Ravens, concerts & festivals, and just hanging out with friends - since it’s more about the company than the event, I’m typically up for anything.
Hey cutie, No, the tigers didn 't get me this time and I called off the engagements I had planned! Ha. I apologize I just am bad at writing emails and don 't get around to doing it till late at night; so it took awhile for it to click. That 's great that your brother is close with your grandmother.
My move from my home state of Maryland to Georgia has greatly influenced my goals and perspectives. When I lived in the city area of Maryland, I had a limited viewpoint of life as a person who knew only of the city and had relaxed belief of living only within my comfort zone of what a city had to offer, however that changed when I moved to Georgia. Georgia proved itself to be a very different experience for me. Georgia is a lot bigger than Maryland so there was more place for its cities to be more spread apart and the environment had a more forestry background than what I knew at the young age. The change of setting and accustoms associated from the very different places made me realize that depending on a person’s position one object can be
In the spring of 2012, I was informed that we were going to move. As a thirteen going on fourteen year old, the news was rather jarring. I was born and raised in that house, in that town, it was all I knew. We packed up our belongings and began the 678 mile journey to our new “home.” Moving from Hartland, Michigan to Durham, North Carolina was not only immense in distance, but in way of life.
After we moved to Colorado I became a wild child some might say, and once I graduated from High School and moved away from home I was on a path of destruction. Throughout this entire time, my parents were supportive and we had a good relationship. My sister and I had a good relationship but she was married by this time and moved to Colorado a couple years later. Although, I never was in a committed relationship I would date and had a few girlfriends throughout this time.
Well the crops weren’t as good this season, but then again, I never had time for my crops. It’s been a really sad year because first my newborn baby die from the flu. Then my beautiful wife got the flu and I couldn’t do anything thing for her and she died too.
Not everyone has the privileges to know what I’m about to tell you so consider yourself lucky. From what motived me to move to Milwaukee, my passion and my ambitions to succeed in life. Saturday morning like any other Saturday back in 2009, in Glenview a small town just north of Chicago) I woke up at 7:00am to get ready and go to work like any other day, back then I used to work at this restaurant called Yard House, I was a prep cook, my job was to have all the ingredients for the salads ready, from dressings to tortilla chips for the second shift.
Personal Narrative Have You ever wanted to know what South Carolina is like? Well, Im going to tell you how it is down their. I was only 5 or 6 when i moved down there and we used live in dayton OH, but it took us about a week to decide if we wanted to move and pack up everything. At the time we had 3 dogs Trooper, Oatie, and Patches. I wanted oatie to go with us
Tish, I went to go watch finding dory and it brought back a lot of memories. I lost your number when I transfered my data on my phone but I just wanted to tell you that I 'm sorry. I 'm sorry that I didn 't communicate as much as I should have. For not showing you how much I cared about you.
Moving from Tennessee to Ohio in the 6th grade was probably the most difficult times in my life. Boardman, Ohio, is where my mother and I moved too, from Murfreesboro,Tennessee. The environment was definitely a big change for me. Murfreesboro had variety of people with diversity and cultures from all around. Boardman is very basic, and not extremely integrated.
When I was 14 I had to move to San Clemente, California. I had already recently moved temporarily to Texas while a house was made ready for us on the military base. “The house is ready!” my mother had said excitedly, after being on the phone for a few minutes. “It’s time to go back?”
I have found that I can make something out of myself by making my future bright for me. Going
Persistence, determination, and dedication have made my move to New York successful. I left my family and friends in Puerto Rico for the opportunity to attend a good college with ROTC. I researched all area schools that offered JROTC and CAP programs before moving. I have taken full advantage of all the educational opportunities available to me. I graduated at the top 8% of my class.
