This story is all about me and moving to my new house on Thanksgiving break. The day went very well and it ended up nice, but it could have been better. I somehow relive that week over and over. Nothing bad happened during that time though. If it did, I’ll explain how I’m going to fix that. Here are some more details about the story. The first part is actually moving there. My family had to move all the furniture and stuff to the house. If one of the furniture broke, I would repeat the day and prevent that from happening. That is what I would do if that happens. That is the first part of the story. The second part is living at the house. My new house is doing very well. If a disaster were to happen, I would repeat the day and prevent it from
It was a rainy, gloomy afternoon, my sister and I were watching TV when we heard my parents talking to their friend about moving to Florida. My sister and I looked at each other with confused faces and asked each other if we are moving. Of course, we were clueless because my parents did not mention anything about moving to us. We asked my parents if we are moving and they said yes we are going to be moving to Florida. When my sister and I heard Florida, the first thing we thought was we are going to die from a tornado, because we thought Florida had a lot of hurricanes, earthquakes, and natural disasters.
The water was at the top of two story houses. So it was hard for people to stay in their house for protection against it. Once the storm had passed and the few survivors that were left, you could see just how disastrous the storm really was. “A sea of wreckage spread in every direction. Houses had disintegrated.

I would stock up on food and water, i have no idea how long this will last. Gathering as much food and water as I can. Surviving will be my number 1 priority. Next I will try and find a car, i need some sort of transportation. I think in a situation like this I would survive.

Most of the nights I and my family would go in our car and check if there is any damage. Basically for the 8 days. I and my brothers made up games and did stuff in our note books. Luckily we didn’t too much damage for hose 8 days. We don’t have school for that period.
All of a sudden the front door slams opens. Your breath and heart begins to speed up. Your muscles begin to tighten. A split second later you knotice that its just the wind. No one is trying to get into the house.
I was raised in a single-parent household, by my mother, along with my brother. We were economically disadvantaged because mother’s salary was not sufficient to cover the entirety of expenses, or provide for additional needs. Furthermore, we did not have financial support from my father, because my parents were divorced. There were times when my mother gathered financial resources from other family members, and public assistance to pay for expenses such as clothing, food, and utilities. Fortunately, I was able to receive loans and grants to pay for my tuition, because my mother could not afford to.
I had a pretty relaxed Thanksgiving Break. On Saturday and Sunday all of my friends were either busy or away so I did not have anything have anything to do. I just watched T.V. and chilled out both days. Except on Saturday night the Coronado High School boys were playing their most important game of the year, so my family and went and cheered them on. Then, on Monday and Tuesday I was really busy with water polo.

My Family Thanksgiving Imagine you and your family all having a good time, enjoying yourself, and watching T.V. And that’s some of what I did at Thanksgiving. My family are very important to me because, they make other people laugh and do nice things. My Aunt Joann likes to make jokes, makes people laugh a lot, and makes great sweet potato pie.
Have you ever moved houses? What about cities? Or states? Moving for many people is normal and doesn 't affect them whether they move to a different neighborhood or to a city far away. Some enjoy experiencing new places and new people, basically starting a new life.
As I was awakened from a deep sleep, my aunt was yelling “get all your stuff we have to leave.” I didn’t fully understand what was going on by the way I was awakened. It was five o’clock in the morning when I heard my cousin on the other end of the phone saying “we have to leave New Orleans now, the hurricane is going to hit and we will not be safe here.” I never thought I would have to pack up and leave my home because of a natural disaster. As I gather the things that would fit in the small purple suitcase I was still in disbelief of what was going to take place.
