I truly enjoyed being someone he depended on and confided in, in his last years. I strongly believe that my passion to become a social worker stems from the bravery and comforting nature of being there for my grandfather. My grandmother is a Social Worker now and I always admired and appreciated the genuine work and service she has done, for example, visiting her sickle cell patients on holidays, being able to mentor undergraduates, and the various volunteer opportunities she has done. I feel that I can be an advocate for those who are neglected or abused. I feel that the Master’s in Social Work program would give me the theoretical foundation as well as the intensive training that is necessary to become a successful social worker.
He inspired me to be positive in my own life while carrying great integrity. Steve brought passion to everything he did and was a true friend to many. He was never afraid to lend a helping hand to someone. I strive to help people without expecting anything back in return because it creates a person who can lead. When he was faced with health struggles he kept fighting to be a good person to all.
Task 1-Vision,Mission,Goals and Objectives My Mission Statement To work hard and do the best to my abilities in all I do, to have respect towards others and to listen to those who are wiser and have more to teach me. I believe that everything happens for a reason. My golden rule is IF IT IS MEANT TO BE IT WILL HAPPEM. My Long-Term Goals My long-term goals are to finish my varsity studies and qualify as a Pathologist. I want to do something to help my community to make a difference and be remembered, to be someone who my parents are proud of.
My Personal Philosophy I am a strong willed teenager who knows what I want and what I stand for. I am very principled in what I believe in and I am prepared to firmly back up and justify my convictions. In order to live a life of integrity, I have had to constantly remain positive through the challenges of my youth. Peer pressure as well as a range of new and demanding experiences have constantly tested my beliefs and values. On more than one occasion, I have had to stand up for my values – often alone, and yet have managed to remain committed and faithful to what I believe in.
He consistently tries his hardest to put the puzzle back together even if he doesn't know what it will look like in the end. He helps us persevere and solve any problem we have because a happy team is a hard working team. This one goes a bit with the one before. Coach Ricardo teaches us to always trust each other. He trusts all of us as a model for us to trust him and others.
My parent’s have taught me to never settle for anything less than a B. They know that in order for me to go to college and be successful, I not only have to get good grades but work hard to get there. I love a good challenge. Sometimes it’s not about the obstacles you face,
My personal strengths are that I am a dedicated student as well as never giving up. For me, I love being involved in things that makes a difference in our community and our school, that is why I am in an abundant amount of community service clubs. I am always consistent and not doing things last minute or just because it looks good on college apps. I do it because it means something to me and that I want to make a difference. Sometimes, there are times in my life that I am not able to handle the things on my plate, but I am resilient and able to pick myself back up on my own.
The way I was raised has influenced me to be confident, mature, and selfless to not only get through life, but to succeed in it. I make it my obligation to signify the four pillars of National Honor Society everywhere I go. I know that I am evaluated on my character and abilities in and out of school. That makes me responsible to represent not only SHDHS, but my family, my clubs, and my sports
Despite having a difficult life, he still managed to accomplish his dream. He inspires me deeply. I know I will not ever be like him, but with his inspiration, I will hope to accomplish my dream. No one has the knowledge he has given me and for that, I feel ahead of everyone. When I reach my goal I will always be thankful to him.
In the song it says “Look at me, I’m trying everyday I fall down make mistakes try again”. This songs describes how I am very ambitious because it shows even when I fail I keep trying again and again wanting to achieve my goals. It shows how I don’t let obstacles and setbacks discourage me.They do the opposite and give me encouragement to keep going strong. For example in my school at the end
My priorities are set on getting good grades and working hard on my school work. Next, I am a diligent student. I try my hardest to accomplish every task without failure. I am that kind of person that has to work hard for what I desire and deserve. I also consider myself a responsible individual because I always own up to my wrongs.
Although I work hard for everything I do and am always dedicated, I learned that hard work and dedication are much stronger when goals are made. I also realized you can learn just as much from watching as doing. As I prepare for college, I will carry this into being a better student to my professors. Finally, I am grateful for the huge support system that helped me accomplish my goal. My CORHA family, my mother and father, sisters, and friends were always there for advice and support; this is a blessing that is beyond any price tag.
They worked hard to get where we are at to this very day, they had great discipline, and great work ethic to give me and my family a comfortable living, one they were not able to have as children. I have been taught to be disciplined by my parents to have a great work ethic to be able to achieve anything desire. And that is what sets me apart
I constantly strive to be the best that I know I can be and aim beyond. If I am given the opportunity to demonstrate my leadership qualities, I hope to prove to myself, my coach, and my teammates that I have what it takes. Despite my past errors this past few years, I am a wiser and stronger person. Arguably because of them. It can be hard to accept the past, but it cannot be changed.
