was a pleasure to have all of you in this class and I hope you have a great time in high school and wish you all the best for the future.” I proceeded to second period, which was music. In music, we collected our final projects and work for the entire year. After that, we went around the room and signed our yearbooks with other students. When second period ended, I walked to science. Then, there it was, that I smell I first scented that I believed was chocolate. In third period, our science teacher named Ms. Fricke said, “There are a variety of science courses in high school, whether you decide to go to Reavis, St. Laurence, Queen of Peace, or any other high school. Also, if you have questions or concerns regarding any science courses, please feel free to email me.” …show more content…
In fourth period, she collected our reading books and she gave us rest of the period which was about fifteen minutes to relax and get yearbooks signed. Then, just when the bell was about to ring, she gave us all a small portion of a gigantic chocolate cake which she had bought for all of her classes. Now came fifth period, the period I was most terrified. I was terrified because the teacher in this class always shouted when his students did not follow directions. But today was different, he was in sort of a gloomy mood. Also, he could not make any eye contact with his students like he usually did, and he was quiet when the twenty minutes class bell rang. When there was about ten minutes left, he stood and said, “We have covered many topics this year and I hope you use those notes for the next four years in high school that you have written down this whole year. To tell you the truth, you were my best class out of the whole day. Why? Because you always followed directions, always turned in your homework, and never made me upset for any reason, and I will miss each and every one of
It was 7:05am on a Thursday morning, when I had woken. I lied down in my bed gazing at the ceiling as my obnoxious alarmed screamed at me to get up and prepare for another day of school. I was beyond exhausted. It was November 17th. Thanksgiving break was just around the corner waiting for me to relax and get my mind off the prison we call school.
It was a warm and sunny morning during August, it was only the first week of school at McDole Elementary, I was in 1st grade. Mrs.Olma my teacher was walking us back from a bathroom break. Eventually when we were in the classroom she told us to sit down because she had something very important to say to the whole class. She made sure everyone in the classroom was paying attention to her. "There is supposed to be a fire drill today about now," Mrs.Olma explained.
Just a week ago I was in the main office along with a group of friends waiting for the arrival of Mr. Medina, who we were told was currently in a meeting by the snobby blonde lady in the main office. As we waited for our assistant principal to arrive, a Domino’s pizza deliver guy came through the doors with stacks of pizza piled high ,the strong greasy smell grabbed the attention of our noses we all starred at the boxes at he placed it on the counter . As the pizza disappeared one by one time flew by at that point we realized lunch was almost over. We were all fed up and hungry. At this point we had the urge to leave realizing that there wasn’t any pizza left, but we knew that this matter was urgent.
Threw out my high school career, I have been at Camelback High School within the Montessori program that is relatively new to the school. I wake up early (around 5am) and take the bus everyday to school because I choose not to drive. I have thought about quitting more than once, but decided to stay because I strive for completion. I also pride myself on my honesty. The truth is I always do the bare minimum but I also attempt the extra mile whenever
Narrative: I moved to Kansas City, Kansas seven years ago. It all started when I was in 6th grade with these girls. I was a different race then them. They thought it would be cool to mess and try to get rid of the white girl. One day, they decided to try everything they possibly can to get me kicked out.
My teacher asked me my schedule, the papers I got in homeroom and she explained everything for me her voice comforted me. It was all my fault I didn’t bother to look at the papers and my schedule. I learned that it’s always worthy to follow directions. She told me to go to my second period. I got up and started walking to the door everyone’s eyes were on me with nervousness on one hand and fear on the other, I reached for the door knob.
After a week goes bye we expected the teacher to get better but he didn't. As class ended I texted all my friends to meet me at a certain lunch table at a certain time. At that time we all sit together and I talk about Mr. Grain. “Mr. Grain is to mean… we have to stop it I'm done with me sitting outside the classroom for have the class for doing something as simple as sneezing”. I said with anger.
I was about to walk into the door to go to the class that I dread everyday, history. I knew that day was going to be the worst because I didn’t have my homework done. I had to finish a worksheet on Julius Caesar. I swore that I did it, but there was nothing on the paper. On top of all of that, the teacher, Mrs. Boyle.
In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
Growing up, people would always ask "what do you want to be when you grow up?" flash-forward to senior year of high school where the most common question asked became “where are you going to college?” Time was flying by and although I had a pretty good idea on where I wanted to attend in the fall, when I was accepted to all of my top choices, the decision became a challenge. Strangely enough Xavier University of Louisiana was the last school I applied to. It was nowhere on my radar until I did my research.
I am in the middle of my freshmen year as I write this Narrative. Now, that you are reading this I am a sophomore and you are a freshmen. I will be telling you what you can do to make your year or years better here at NorthView High School. I remember thinking it was going to be scary I thought I wasn’t going to have that many friends. But, the truth is Middle school and High school is not that different then you think.
My brother and I were filled in with the rest of our classmates around 9 am, while some of our other classmates such as Conejo were already there. Alice as usual was running late, and was literally running to class in attempt to be on time for once. Luckily she made it. We all sat down and waited for Mrs. Heart the chemistry teacher to squawk some instructions to us. Mrs. Heart was a peculiar women, she was short and stubby with fiery hair, and had quite a temper.
I heard the final bell ring. I packed up my backpack and other supplies and headed for my locker in the back of the room. I was always the last to leave class. Everything from there was me getting my stuff and heading home. I went into the art room to grab something.
Shortly after, the bell rang to go to first period. Thankfully, Amanda and I had the same first period class, but that was one of two classes that we had together. That left me to experience the rest of my classes all by myself. The first couple of periods were not too bad, but as the day went on, I was really dreading lunchtime. Out of the six kids who were former St. Michael’s students, I was the only one who had
In school people have many moments that are very unique to them. Some moments are life changing while also being developmental, but others stay with us and improves our skills in certain areas rather it be in English, Math or Science. We all learn new things but even when we learn new things we still must remember the things that we learned and sometimes its helpful when you have a helping hand or a lasting effect on you. It was the beginning of August, school was just starting to roll around.
