Being shoved to the ground and coming up with a mouthful of turf and a bloody nose isn’t the ideal way to spend a friday night, but for me, it's something I put blood, sweat, and tears into. Soccer has been a passion of mine since my father dropped me off at the local YMCA when I was at the tender age of four. Spending all of my free days for thirteen years running after a soccer ball is arguably what made me into the person I am today. Unity, tenacity, passion and pride have all been morals that are valued within the sport and in my own philosophy. I have explored places I’d never give a second thought to because my sport took me there.
Sometimes I got a chance to play at the last monuments of the game. We had so many good times at that time. We learned from our mistakes and from our experiences. On the other hand, we had some problems .All the team members had one big dreams that was to play and to represent Denver Ethiopian community team. Every year in the North American, there is a big Ethiopian community sport festival .The organization invites all state sport representatives’ and supporter from all over American.
Also, he laughs a lot, and most of the student Know him for that and because of sports. Furthermore, he cares of his surrounding people, as he has the ability of being more than seven hours looking for Claudia when she disappeared during a snowstorm. He does not mind winning or loosing, as he only wants to have fun. An example, is when he was from titans and Andrew was from Hornet in the championship, as titans won and he saw Andrew dispirited, he gave the trophy to him. He has a bubble gum that was from Claudia and he sees it as a lucky
I had a pretty relaxed Thanksgiving Break. On Saturday and Sunday all of my friends were either busy or away so I did not have anything have anything to do. I just watched T.V. and chilled out both days. Except on Saturday night the Coronado High School boys were playing their most important game of the year, so my family and went and cheered them on.
From a young age, Jacob loved Sundays. He would get up early, finish all his chores, do his homework, and wait for his favorite football to play. Once the game started, he celebrated as players made spectacular catches and yelled when his team threw interceptions. Even outside of the game, he idolized the players by always wearing the jersey of his favorite running back. Years later one Sunday morning, Jacob did not see his favorite running back on the field.
It’s One or The Other When I was 4, I started to play soccer. I was very young to start, but that didn’t faze me. I’d go around kicking and screaming with joy. After a while of playing that sport, I became interested in playing softball because I would watch my big brother play; I have always looked up to him. As I became more interested in both of the sports, I would always want to play, didn’t matter what time of day, the weather conditions, whether or not I had anybody to play with.
The most cohesive group in which I been a part of is a soccer team because we all loved to play the sport. The team was made because at that time several of the players did not have anything to do after school or in the weekend, so we decided to make it. The interesting part of the group is that we all are friends, even though, today we do not see each other because of school and work. But I do miss those times when we all were a team. We were like a family because we would go out to the movies, parties, or just hang out in someones house and make a cookout.
Some of the friends I’ve made playing youth soccer have become my best friends now. We share the memories of game winning goals being scored and water bottle fights after practice. At soccer practices or games I felt like I could be myself. I was free to be silly and express myself. Despite not playing soccer anymore and being much older, I find myself in similar situations as I was while playing soccer.
My most favorite memory as a Indian Springs Cheerleader was our first home game in the new stadium It was very intense and it was a very long day, it was my very first time cheering at a game in like years so I was scared and nervous, I don’t watch football much so I didn’t know what was happening on the field but later on in the game I got the hang of it. This was great because I got to cheer with great team that night and hope that I get to do it again . Another favorite moment was the Pep Rally, it was my first time performing in the rally and I never thought I would be able to do something so cool. I think the whole team was nervous, but we still went out there and did our best. Another memorable moment that I had from being a cheerleader was, basketball season it was very intense to see and cheer at the basketball games.
That was until I met my two closest friends or my only friends for that year and the year after that. I had met these kids in the previous years and we were also on the same football club, however, we were not ‘close friends’. I became friends with these kids through a good game of pickup football on a Sunday. I don’t remember how or what, but on that day, Julian and Thomas became some of the best friends I have ever had. I know that 's sounds kind of cheesy, but that was how it was.
Rewrite Ben Roethlisberger curious about the Steelers performance if they were to remain healthy Pittsburgh Steelers offensive last season finished in the second place in the NFL in terms of yards per play while they emerged fourth in scoring despite the power trio of Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and Ben Roethlisberger never playing in the whole game together. What is extremely enthusiastic is the fact that Roethlisberger who is entering his thirteenth season as the Pittsburgh’s starting quarter –back told the USA TODAY after his team’s opening practice of training in the camp last week that he wondered what it would be like if everybody was there and everyone was in the field. If the team stays healthy and put to the end their performance
High and his name is Logan Northup from Sigourney. I have inspired my brothers to play every year and my Dad coaches them too but they have never been undefeated. Logan taught me tricks and techniques because he played soccer in college. He got me started playing soccer for William Penn College youth leagues after I got too old to play for Sigourney anymore. Now I play soccer for the Oskaloosa team and I have played for them every year in the spring and fall.
