I’m sitting on Santa’s knee and he is giving me my present and everyone is taking pictures and you will hear laughing all around and see all smiles as we are at my grandparents house on Christmas Eve. We go from getting presents from Santa Then we do Secret Santa . After that we go from the Secretto the best part of the night . Every year since about 2003 me and my family have gone on this trip to Myrtle Beach and It's one of the best weeks of my life . My grandparents give me and my family this envelope and inside it says”We are going to Myrtle Beach on the 3 of June”. I'm so pumped up right now I don’t think that I would be able to go to sleep and you would think that since it happens every year that I wouldn’t be surprised anymore, but …show more content…
Every other day we go out to eat . It’s always a great time because my family is so big that we have to make reservations like 3 hours before we go out to eat. After we are done eating we have so many families that they don’t know what the kid is on what check so usually when we go there is a fight and the parents are talking and sometimes it's so funny. On one of the last days we make a big sand castle and we call it the annual castle . It's usually about taller than me or even as long as me . When the tide comes up we have to build walls and block the water from getting into the sand castle and destroying it . So when the levees get destroyed we have to lay down where the front of the castle so the water doesn’t destroy it .After that we have sand in our pants and the next day you usually get rashes and you can’t walk and it's just a great time .
After all, this was the greatest trip of my life and I can’t wait to go next year again. This has been the greatest trip ever because we had so much and i could drop everything and spend a week with my family \.MY family is a big part of my life they will always be there for me no matter what happens because they will have my back . Be thankful for your family
Time. 10:19 p.m. South Florida. The traffic light rests at red for an eternity, mocking me with its condescending gaze. I quickly turned my head both directions, not a car in sight for what it seemed to be miles.
At first, I followed the edge of our property line until I came to a little trail in the weeds that looked like it been made by a deer or another good-sized animal. It descended gently down the escarpment at first, but then I had to quicken my step as it became a little steeper, eventually taking me right down to the Genesee River. The river itself wasn’t as wide and as deep as I thought it would have been, and in spots it looked like you could cross without needing the aid of a bridge, the water perhaps coming up as high as my waist. But that was most likely because it was August and the heat wave we’d been experiencing had the area gripped in a drought. I had followed the river’s rocky shoreline for a little ways while listening
When I Went To Florida I went to Florida after 4th grade in the summer. When we went to Florida, Jaxon my sisters, brother came with us. The night before we left he stayed at my house. When we left the next morning we left at 3:00 A.M. While we were on our way we both had to sit in the very back of the car because my sisters came with us. The ride there was not fun at all.
My girlfriend works in a clinic in Atlantic City that provides health care and social services to people with no insurance or have limited means of support. There are more places in Atlantic City that provide free health care, food, shelter, addiction and social services than anywhere within a days ride of the city. People drift down here from all over of the state, even outside of New Jersey, for a cot and a meal. After its decline in the 1950s, the city has attracted alcoholics, people with mental health issues, and those just down on their luck. Maybe it was the ocean and faded glamor of the city 's boardwalk and hotels, or the abundance of cheap housing and corner taprooms.
I have never really considered Greenville the town where I grew up in. But, it is the place where I have made many changes in my life and grew to be the person I am. I guess I consider the place where I grew up to be home, and I do not see Greenville as a home. My heart has always belonged in Georgia, because that is where all my family lives and I have the most memories with my family all together. When it comes down to it, Greenville is in fact the place I grew up.
Personal Narrative Have You ever wanted to know what South Carolina is like? Well, Im going to tell you how it is down their. I was only 5 or 6 when i moved down there and we used live in dayton OH, but it took us about a week to decide if we wanted to move and pack up everything. Being born and raised in Florida it was evident that I was going to experience some beautiful nature as a child. It never really occurred to me though how important nature is and how much of an affect it can have on a person. When I was younger my family used to travel down to the Florida Keys every summer to go fishing and snorkeling. I would look forward to this trip every summer because the drive down to the Keys enabled us to see all of Florida and that was always my favorite part. As I got into my teens though and started playing more sports my summers soon became filled with traveling around the state playing sports rather than fishing and snorkeling down in the keys.
It was a warm and windy morning in the month of June 2007. I was 7 years old and my family planned a big trip to go to Hershey park. I was so excited it made me want to scream at the top of my lungs. But I didn’t. This trip was going to be the best trip of the summer.
If I could be anywhere right now I would choose to be on the beach in Florida. I would be in Fort Myers Beach, Florida because that is my favorite place to visit in Florida. When I visit Florida I enjoy laying around the pool and going to the beach. Florida is my ideal place for relaxation, it clears my head. I always have a hard time saying goodbye to Florida because I always have such a great time when I visit.
One day in July, my Aunt Beeh asked me and my sister Tiffany if we could pick up her daughters’ from their dads’ house in Atlanta. We both knew that our mom wouldn’t have a problem with us taking a day trip to Atlanta. However we knew our dad would say no. Our mom just told us “Just tell him you’re going halfway to pick them up.” And that’s exactly what we did.
Thanksgiving is a celebration in which families partake in merriment and festivities, all the while feasting on enough turkey to make my stomach lurch. That wouldn’t be the case for me, however. On November 20th, 2015, I was seated in the back of a 2014 Chevy Malibu, twiddling earbuds between my quivering fingers to occupy my brain. For the first time, I would be meeting my boyfriend, Nick’s, entire family, and I was desperate to make a good first impression. What I didn’t know then was that family can be anyone, and an extended one would be eight hours away, preparing to embrace me with open arms.
I'm exploring various areas for retirement, which presently includes Raleigh/Durham, and possibly Asheville, for visits up to six months of the year. Hopefully, I will be lucky to meet acquaintances who are similar in age who are willing to connect without the need for a rushed relationship. I would like to settle down but I am realistic and will admit that I am careful. I am hopeful for a mature commitment in the future. An important aspect is flexibility as my lifestyle involves travel, which is unavoidable.
This choice is one that not only couples will love. Families will discover a lot of fun at Sand Dunes Resort & Spa, too. Inside they have a water park of their own, which can provide hours of activities. The great water slides, are exciting for both children and adults. When you want to pamper yourself, the spa is available.
All of us had fun, but we were exhausted. We went back to the rental and played some video games. Soon after my mom shouted, “Come eat dinner!” Then me and my sisters raced down the stairs and went right to the dining room. We ate to our fill and then we went right to
After weeks of torturous homework, exams and assignments, high school was finally over! Summer holidays here I come! My family got plane tickets to Miami Florida. The land of beaches, sun and fun. We are heading to the airport in three hours.
