Over the summer, I attended a tour of the University of North Carolina: Wilmington. While on this tour, I became enamored with the overall campus attitude, as well as the option to minor in graphic design. Attending The University of North Carolina: Wilmington will allow me to start out my first two years at a college full of people that are accepting and positive. This kind of environment is perfect for my innovative and creative mind.
UNCW allows me to do everything I have loved about my education the past four years, my passions include graphic design and engineering. UNCWs two year transfer program to North Carolina State will allow me to major in Mechanical Engineering. As a student that enjoys a one on one interaction with their professors
Wake Forest is one of the best schools within the country, with unbelievable levels of education in each subject. Attending Wake Forest will open several doors for success and access to unbelievable opportunities. Wake 's small size lends to excellent academics for students and professors to form a relationship, that helps the success of the scholars and the quality of life in the career field. Lastly, it is the cherry blossoms in the spring, or the attractive craft of Wake Forest 's landscaping, the college is certainly as stunning as it is within the
Upon arriving to Miami Dade College, you will never imagine all the resources offered to students to succeed during their scholastic years. I’ve been lucky enough to been advised by some of the best staff at their Interamerican campus. From their advisement office to their profoundly knowledgeable professors. As a current student of ENC1102, we were required to attend one section with a tutor at the writing center. I always thought I had sufficient knowledge of the English language and taking time out of my busy schedule to attend a section with a tutor was absurd.
my Wilmington id: kchep43681, I had applied for a transfer student. I am first generation college student. I started Florida Gulf Coast University four years after I migrated from Jamaica along with my Dad, in pursuits of “an opportunity”- something that is very scarce outside of the continental United States. Before coming to FGCU, I went to Miramar High School; I graduated with honors and promised my Dad that within four years I would bring home my bachelors degree in Finance. August 14th, 2013 marked move in day at Florida Gulf Coast University. My first few weeks at Florida Gulf Coast University introduced me to the dreariest days and nights of my life.
I am interested in the University of North Dakota because I love the state. I have family and friends in the state and my fiancée and I are considering moving to North Dakota in the future. North Dakota is becoming more of a place for opportunity and I would love to jump on the bandwagon. I have attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay since September of 2012.
This is me Today I am a kid in school, just a number to most people. Just a statistic to my high school, and to Wake County Public school system. The not the only this I am, this is not the only place I have been or the last place I will be going. You see for me to be just another number here, or a good statistic at my high school, I had to have learn a thing or two along the way, this journey that I am on, that all of us are on, had to start somewhere.
Recently, I began a mission to find a great college to attend. After careful consideration and several reasons, I chose to start my process at Suny Empire State College. I majored in psychology fifteen years ago while attending Long Island University Brooklyn Campus but unfortunately, I did not complete. Instead, I chose to begin a beautiful family. Needless to say, I am not the typical age of a college student.
However there is no denying that Chicago provides an almost movie like, whimsical, adventure filled campus. Museums and theaters are present nearly everywhere in Chicago and the school offers discounts on admission. Public transportation is offered at both campuses, something that is very important to me because I will not have a car on
In the next four years of my life at Furman, I plan to cultivate a spirit of discovery, collaboration, and civic engagement. Because Furman is a liberal arts institution I believe that there will be so many chances to discover things I have never even heard of before. I plan on joining multiple organizations including the Heller Service Corps and the Shucker Center for Student Leadership. I believe that being a part of both of these organizations will allow me to not only expand my horizons and learn new things but help people at the same time. I will also be able to discover amazing new things by studying abroad.
Awe, the fresh wind blowing in my hair a beautiful view of a Nice calm pond and the sound of angels coming from a coming from a Distance. This is my perfect little spot at Miami Dade College. In my little Spot I do my homework or wait for my next class. Its the best place on the whole campus to be. Breath in and smell the fresh air.
Most people I know have college education ranging through many generations of their family, but unfortunately my family doesn't have that luxury. I come from immigrant parents who made me realize that success is earned, not given and in order to achieve success one must aspire to work hars . Since moving to the United States eighteen years ago, my parents have taught me necessities needed to succeed in America. From living with the satisfaction that I will receive a college education to providing me with the tools neccesecary in life my parents have always been there for me. In my early childhood, my parents taught me how important a strong work ethic was and made me understand the importance of education and the prospect it provides.
Being so close to home will allow me to branch out and experience life while also having a sense of familiarity with the area that I have grown to know and love. I also really embrace the Seahawk life as a whole and have really taken notice as of late at just how much school spirit there is around the campus, which is something that I really value. My major which is not entirely offered at UNC Wilmington is very important to me as I strive to become an athletic director, but I have spoken to a few people that are taking the same career path as me that have told me that the admissions department was eager to work with them to piece together exactly the courses they need. The entire atmosphere just makes me feel more comfortable than other places that I have the options of being and when I see myself in the next years I see myself at UNC Wilmington. This would be the best decision for me not just for the reasons mentioned above, but for my well being in order for me
I have missed you so much this summer; I wish you hadn’t been away the entire time. I can’t wait for you to tell me all about Germany and the amazing things you did while you were there! Anyways, this summer, I have had so much fun, between traveling, concerts, spending time with my friends, and reading. I started my summer off by flying to Clearwater, Florida.
It’s an excellent college to go too and has lots of art courses and classes. The schools’ dorms are interesting and higher rated, but I feel like this school is the right one for me. Here would be facts why I’m interested in it, and hopefully if you aren’t sure which college to chose then you might consider the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The social facts about this college would be: • B in Academics • A in Diversity • B in Professors • A in Student Life
Paradise Paradise. That word sounds so exciting and peaceful. And let me tell you it is. I went to North Carolina in the summer of 2013. It was a long time ago
