This memory story is about the first and only time I went to a Rocky Mountain Rage game. I was a second year squirt. It January 20th three days before the Rage game I don't even know yet. In the rink my parents tell out of surprise that i'm going to skate on the ice in between the 2nd and 3rd period at the rage game on January 23 . I was thinking that this was going to be the most outstanding day of my life if I knew the rage were. When I got home, I questioned the “Who are the rage?” my dad and mom Asked the same thing. So my dad went on the computer and searched up the “Rocky Mountain Rage”. He found it is a minor hockey team for the Colorado Avalanche. On the day of the game we got there early to gain a good parking spot. Like they say the early bird gets the worm. Also that's what they told us to do. …show more content…
We put our bags with our gear in them by the place they told us to.I saw my whole team in there waiting for the rest of my team. I saw my best friend Christian at the time he played for the bison. My tickets were in what I call nosebleeds also called {High Seats} I could barely see the puck. 13:00 min into the game the rage score!!!! The score is 1-0 rage. The end of first rage 1 opponent 0. The second period starting I didn't see much because I was heading down to the locker rooms to get ready to get on the ice. Getting my gear on to get on the ice. When the period was over the score was 1-1 tie. After the second period the ice was ready for us to play. When it was about over I scored? Someone else scored, but said my name. Then a few seconds later, my friend Christian
Then Jeff Blashill (Head Coach), Jeff Hoggan (Captain), and Petr Mrazek (Goaltender) came and we were fonomanal. So back to present time… I dog pilled my friends, Alex and Christian Smith. After a hour of ceremonies, playing on the ice, and press box touring it was time to go back to the
When they returned it was the fourth quarter and Billy made his two shoots but the other team scored another goal. When there was 1
When the whistle blows, they come out like a dog that needs to go to the bathroom when it hasn’t for the last 2 days, very fast and hard. In the first 3 minutes our goalie as blocked 3 shots and they hit the crossbar once. At halftime I don’t know how, but we were still tied 0-0. I don’t even think that we shot the ball once the entire half. It was all
As I arrived at Jock Leighton Park, I started to have second thoughts. “Do I really have to do this?” , I asked my mom as we pulled into the parking lot. The lot was dim compared to the blinding, white lights on the lacrosse field. There were two giant, green fields that were side-by-side, with metal bleachers intersecting them.
They were seats on the glass. Just sitting in the first row alone was exhilarating; however, the Blues had just signed the legendary goalie Martin Brodeur who was starting his first game for the team that night. I had glass seats for Brodeur’s first game as a Blue. Along with being at that game, I was at Martin Brodeur’s last game ever. If he had publicly announced that he would be retiring I am sure that the tickets would have been much more expensive and I would not have been able to go.
It was just amazing feeling to be there. Music was playing, fans were screaming, and it was just loud. The lighting was very bright then the usual rinks in America that I played for the other teams. And after I see this, I promised myself that I would never forget this game and the
The stadium was as packed as a can of sardines, with everyone smashed up against each other and not one seat left open. Many fans relaxed on the lawn just inside the vicinity, watching the game on the big screen while resting on blankets. Tons of people got lost on their way to their seats, the area was so large. Not even Louis and Clark could have found their way around without assistance. Just about everyone had come to see Navy’s last home football game against Southern Methodist University on Saturday at the stadium next to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
Loud noises coming from around the auditorium and there were a lot of people chatting non-stop. As me and my friend walking through the halls to get inside the auditorium, there were posters of The Kong & Shu Project. I was shocked that they were from North Carolina and they got invited to come to Saint Paul, MN to come play for their fans. There were three sections where people can sit which in the left side has barely anyone sitting, in the middle section it was full, and in the right section there are half as many people in the middle section.
You can feel the roar of the crowd as the team enters the field. It was amazing how you could actually feel the noise in your feet as everyone was yelling. People 's eyes were glued to the field whenever something big happened and when a bad call was made everyone wanted to make sure that their opinion was heard no matter
After we waited for maybe an hour just to get into the stadium. When we were walking up to our seats we can hear the loud crowd all over the stadium we could
The whistle indicating the beginning of the game blew. For the first 15 minutes, it was a normal game and we were in total control. We were unlucky to not have got 2 or 3 goals by then. Soon enough, we finally got our first goal around 25 minutes in. As I jogged back to position myself to begin play again, I noticed a slow, limping figure
I had a feeling it was going to be a great game. We were the Giants and we were playing the N.Y Yankees. We arrived at the game soon later. My whole team was already there.
We also got wings because you can 't not get wings. It was just the four of us Jackson, Craig, Me, and my dad. Our seats were perfect. They were on the 50 yard line 20 rows up. Our friends had season tickets.
As we were walking we saw a colossal tailgate in front of the arena, and we all agreed to go. We were all standing in the parking lot wondering what the tailgate was for, so we asked a tailgater, and he told us that it was a Pink Floyd concert, and we wished we had tickets to go in. So, the rest of the tailgate we
The anthems were played, the teams shook hands, and had their final team talk as they began the game. The energy in the stadium was unbelievable. We had to stand the entire game or we would have not been able to watch. The fans were jumping, singing, and just yelling to yell. The score was 0-0 at halftime.
