“Hurry up Ethan!” I roll my eyes and jog towards my friend. When I reach him he hits me and yells “You’re it!” Suddenly he is gone, running towards the playground. I chase after him, swerving around the trampoline. Today is not the day to try and run on a trampoline. My friend Jonathan criss-crosses between the picnic tables heading for the balance boards. I go the opposite direction and climb into the green tube at the very back of the area. The green tube is so cool, you can look through the holes and see the whole field. I spot Johnathan sitting on one of the color checkers. Perfect! I crawl to the end of the tube and go down the ladder, dodging a bucket of sand going up the pulley. You’re it now!” I yell before sprinting to the monkey bars. I climb up on top of the monkey bars but Jonathan is right on my tail. I slip between the bars and fall onto the trampoline under me. My heart is racing when I stand up. That was incredibly fun. Before I can start running Jonathan tackles me to the ground. “Ha! I win! I am the champion!” I look up to see him doing a victory dance. “Okay, okay you won. Geese.” I stand up and rub the shoulder I fell on. “C’mon let’s go jump on the trampoline. Race ya!” Jonathan sprints to the other side of the park. How can he have so much energy? Dusting off my pant I turn around to go sit on a bench. I wish these seats had cousins. Just image how comfy those would be. “Are you coming or not!” Johnathan voice carries of, going up and down from the jumps. “No I want to rest.” I scream back.
