“Everyone shines like a star” - Sara Elizabeth Center. Sarah Elizabeth Center is an amazing and inspiring place. It is a center for that provides educational arts based programs for children, youth and young adults with developmental and/or physical challenges. People that I feel really inspired me are Michael, Cris and Stefano. Also, we got some good tips from the drumming. First, I will talk about Michael.
Who is Michael? Well, Michael is a 20 year old boy with a type of disability. He inspired me a lot. Michael created a poem that talks about how many people bullied him.It was so sad I was about to cry. Michael taught me that nobody should be judged for who they are and that everyone should be treated equally no matter what. He also taught me that people are going to judge and bully you so move on and ignore it, everything will get better with God. Michael is now writing a book, the Sara Elizabeth Blog and he is

She created it after her 8th child, Sara Elizabeth Smith. Sara died 26 days after she was born. She was born with many abnormalities, which if had she survived would have left her multiple disabilities. Cris taught me to listen to my heart, that our life will have its ups and downs and that God is talking to us. Cris is an amazing teacher and is an amazing person.
Next, is Stefano. Stefano is an actor. He did scare us a bit in the beginning but in the middle and near the end, he did inspire me a lot. And at parts, he was funny but extremely loud and embarrassing. He taught me to believe in myself, to love myself and to be confident. He also taught me to be myself no matter what anybody thinks.
Lastly, drumming taught me a couple things. Drumming taught me to ask myself questions. Once I do, my brain will give me an answer. It also taught me to be and stay be positive. We also learned a fun beat to play. We also learned to main chorus in ukulele. I even knew the song he was
For many years I have been known for being a very talented athlete. But what many people do not know is that I was once in the Elba Marching band. Being in the band has taught me a lot of things, like reading music, discipline and organization. The most interesting thing about the band was that we had to learn how to read music. At first this was a challenge for me, but I soon got the hang of it.
On the night of my Distinguished Young Women’s program, I realized manipulation is a tremendous obstacle in today’s society. When one is as gullible as I am, it is easy to fall for manipulation. Sometimes people may have psychological issues that are not noticeable until one knows that person better. I have learned to analyze situations more carefully and determine what manipulation is, I learned that people have psychological issues, and gullibility is common among young adults.
Michael Jordan is an idol human being in many ways. He portrays every aspect of a respectable hero, mirroring every step of Joseph Campbell’s, The Hero With A Thousand Faces . He has good-leadership skills that have kept him a step ahead of everyone else. Jordan’s mindset on being victorious in everything he does is one of the most heroic things about him. Though he never gave up, his life wasn’t very easy at times and that's why Jordan always strives for better, which is the best way to make your dreams come true.
“Crack”, “click” was what I heard before the most excruciating pain I have ever felt filled my right knee. It was on October 7th, it was just weeks before my junior season was going to start. I was at Massillon Washington high school at wrestling practice like I was almost every day. I was drilling with the assistant coach Percy McGee hitting single legs which was my favorite move. About 40 seconds into the drill I hit another single and all of a sudden my knee locked at about 90 degrees.
He will never ever forget the person that got him to where he is now, his foster mom and dad. When Michael Oher started being recognized by his amazing story, he LOVED it. Michael created change by standing up for homeless people that have struggled or struggling with what he had to go through as a kid. He accomplished coming over homelessness and being poor. It influenced change because now sometimes people are treating homeless people nicer because of his impact on it.
Unknown Hi i’m Bella. I look like a happy go lucky African american woman. Well to all that say that they only got one part right in that whole statement. I’m an average african american woman. I have nothing and no one to truly call my own.
Now, as a inspiring speaker, he travels from school to school, teaches students about his bumpy journey. I think he taught us all something, to overcome anything or anyone that comes in your to stop you from succeeding.
The beginning of his lifestyle in music began in the 3rd grade when his mother brought him to a music shop and he picked up his first guitar. Afterwards he took lessons and expressed his passion though the guitar. “I owe everything to my guitar teacher, he taught me how to feel and see things in a different
If we all actually try to look at their heart, they might have a good Christian heart that we can learn from. This book has taught me many lessons about being myself and loving others. Overall, I loved this book. I found it truly inspiring to just live and just be who we really are.
Most importantly, I learned how to persevere. On the first day of band camp, I went home after five hours of rehearsal and thought I was dying. Everything ached: my legs from fifty-yard sprints, my arms from burpees followed by flag technique, and even my scalp from the too-high ponytail I had subjected my hair to. The next morning, I crawled out of bed and limped back to the field with a newfound determination. I was exhausted and discouraged, but I wouldn’t let that stop me from succeeding.
Ms. Hughes stared at the board. She wondered if there was any point in her continuing her relentless journey. From coming from one of the poorest neighborhoods in the entire country, she had endured lots. She had to muster all of her willpower to keep going. Most of her neighbors, when they had the chance, instantly escaped their city to move to a more prosperous one, with more hope.
Susie’s throat felt like sandpaper as she spoke to her role model. The warm, cheesy pizza she had for dinner felt like it was about to come up at any second. Harry bid Susie farwell and he quickly raced back to center stage. A few more songs played and it was now time for the last song. “What Makes You Beautiful” started and again the crowd went nuts.
He taught me not to judge anyone harshly or quickly if they don 't share my
He used to take me to the courthouse and point at the judge and say “that will be you when you grow up”. It also brings to mind the power of believing in people. As a child all i needed was one person to motivate me and i tried my best to be the best at what i do. I see motivating as a great leadership
He also taught me to stay motivated no matter how many times I wanted to give up because of my mistakes. I remember the day like it was yesterday even though it was eighteen years ago. This is one of the proudest moments in my life. It’s a lesson that I’ll never forget. Being taught how to ride a bike for the first time was exciting.
