How can you get yellow, purple, or even black feet? By standing, or swimming in freezing cold icy waters of corse. Want to hear how to survive yellow feet then read on!
It all happened a few weeks ago on a Sunday. We had just finished church with the warmth of the singing with us as we headed to the car. As we were walking to the car, I could hear cars starting, people laughing, and talking joyfully because it was such a beautiful day for fall. We got into the car and headed home. During the ride I basically tuned everyone out wanting to finish my new book. But then something they were talking about sparked my interest. My parents had said we could go home and get our swimsuits, and head to the lake for the last swim of the season.
We got home, quickly grabbed our swimming suits and leaped back in the car and headed out. As soon as we got to the lake I was stunned the lake looked so sparkly and surprisingly clean with only a few leaves. We headed on to the sandy beach, and I hesitantly put my toes in. As soon as we got to the lake I was stunned the lake looked so sparkly and surprisingly clean with only a few leaves. We headed on to the sandy beach, and I hesitantly put my toes in. Then I shrieked and leaped out back onto the safety and warmth of the sand. Then my dad asked if I wanted to have a contest to see who could go out farther into the freezing cold water. Of course I said yes cause I wanted to beat my dad. We headed out and suddenly my body felt like it had turned to ICE it was so cold, of course my dad won since I was so cold! We then just stood in the water and watched my brother play on the sand and attempt to join us. He would run a little ways into the water then right back out, to where my mom who was sitting on the sand. My brother is 5 years old and very energetic and
My brother brought his BB gun, as well as my cousins. The next morning, My brother, cousins, and I decided to wake up early to go explore the campground. We saw a bridge and decided to cross it. When I reached the end of the bridge, I fell in a hole and landed in a creak under the bridge. When everyone came to help me up we all went exploring along the creak a little while after the incident.
I had just arrived at our small lake cabin, ready to go to bed. When I woke up the next day, I did my normal routine, eat, brush my teeth, comb my hair, and get dressed. With nothing to do at sunrise, I head outside, hoping to go on an adventure. But with no luck on a gloomy day I just ended up playing catch with my cousin. About 5 minutes later, my dad walked out, watching us play catch in the misty morning.
On 11/7/16 I truly knew that God had a plan for me. Part of his plan was for me to move to Columbus so I could find Him. I remember we were in the middle of a song, and I just started to ball my eyes out. I had felt this warmth take over me. For the first time in my life, I felt as if I was connected to something bigger than myself.
I went out with my good buddy Karl where we went out to a great spot on the lake that an older man named Carl owns the land and his home is nearby. . We took a two peker boat, which is a boat with two seats one in the front and one in the back that you can push and pull with a stick. There is a flat piece on the bottom of the stick to push off the bottom of the lake so you can propel the boat forward. We later got into our blind and sat for probably twenty minutes waiting for the sun to rise. When we suddenly look over and there it was one; of the best sunsets I had ever seen it!
The Hunt My dad just woke me up for our big elk hunt that we were going on. He told me to get ready and we would be leaving in a few minutes. Once I got dressed we went to my grandpas and picked him up. We (me my dad and my grandpa) drove in my grandpa's truck, when we got to the airport, we packed our luggage and got on the plane. When we got on the plane, I noticed we were going to Salt Lake City, I asked my dad why, and he said we were going to have to stop their first.
The next wonderful morning we all got ready quickly so we could spend as much of the day as possible at the ski resort that we heard great things about we planed to go to for the entire trip. As soon as we got to the ski resort everyone in our group got filled with enthusiasm, and especially when we walked past the main building opening up to a huge hill with a big grey ski lift lifting people from the ground to the top of the hill where you could go down the hill in little carts surrounded by plastic half pipe tubes ending in a whirl of excitement. Since there was only two to a seat on the ski lift me and, the oldest of the other families kids, jake went together. The trip up the hill was not as i expected because jake soon couldnt himself and started to shake the entire ski life wire which also shook the people in front of us and behind us. Eventually we reached the top of the hill where i was the first of my group to go down the halfpipe tube of plastic.
“The Man in the Water” knew it was he last chance to do anything before he had possibly been gone, gone in the possibly hypothermia water of the Potomac River. This man was helping others before even trying to protect himself in the first place. It just confused the onlookers of why he would put his life second out of strangers he has never seen before. He was a hero, a brave, considerate, noble man, and last but not least a sacrifice of his entire life, as what the survivors had thought of him. First question for most of the onlookers was who he actually was and why did he put other people’s lives before his?
Once, I was a little snowflake on top of a mountain. Life was good on Aspen Mountain with the exception of being trampled by skiers. Until one day when a skier wipes out on top of me. As he was falling, Me and my brothers were swept into the man's jacket. Most of my brothers tumbled out as the man stumbled for his Ski poles but I was stuck.
While I was typing this to my aunt through Facebook, it got me thinking and realizing where I actually stood when it came to my religion. I was confused, worried, and curious. All those years at church in elementary school became unimportant. Everything I learned there was gone. I felt like I entered into a new world with much curiosity.
Going several hours back in time, my eight year old sister and ten year old I were driven to Wachusett Mountain, going to a ski lesson, unaware of the events to come. We ate a quick breakfast, packed our ski bags, and set off with our father chauffeuring us. It turned out that me and my sister were the only ones at that lesson that day, I being less than enthused. (I somewhat dislike my sister for many miscellaneous reasons, such as her wonderful personality.)
The drive was almost unbearable, but the thought of spending the week in the snow with family kept me going. It was only a four hour drive, but at 9 years old, it felt like an eternity. The scenery slowly changed from flat land, to rolling hills. The hills were covered in yellow dying grass, but they were still beautiful. Then we started to make the climb.
We went into the water and played around for awhile and the really heavy waves started to hit us. We were ready for then because we went close to shore. We held on to each other because the waves were coming like elephants. I was holding my cousin on
As I raced toward the bottom of the mountain I suddenly realized there was a cliff not far from the base. My family and I were skiing in Colorado for a vacation. My parents were down in the lodge on the other side of the mountain, and only my brother and I were skiing. I was on the opposite side of the mountain as my brother because I wanted to prove that I was a better skier than him. I had to make a hasty decision to avoid tumbling off the cliff
The water so chilling and icy that I was shivering when I got out .The next day we went back home on the ferry. I got so sea sick on the ferry I all most threw up it was that bad. It was late when we arrived at home and I was so tired I went to bed in my clothes and didn’t even
It all started on a summer day, I went to nags head beach with my family. We got a big beach house with my whole family and a few friends. This was about 4 years but it feels like it was just the other day. We went at the very end of the summer. It was still nice and warm outside.
