One luminous morning, I woke up thinking it would be a lifeless day, and then I remembered it was the first day of deer season! Then I was boiling over with excitement for the day! I scurried out of bed, threw on some clothes, and smelled the crisp smell of bacon and eggs in the skillet. When I finished eating, I went outside and asked my old man when we were going to leave. He said “ We will depart in a hour and head to our hunting stands.” I considered what I could do for an hour.
So I went in the house and started thinking about shooting the monster buck of the season. It would be a big 8 point and I could mount it on my wall. An hour went by, so we got ready and left. On our drive there I was shaking! All of a sudden, we about smashed a fat doe with the pickup! When I got out of the truck, I grabbed the gun and some ammo and headed into the timber. When I got to the tree stand there was no ladder! “That 's a bummer” I said quietly. As a result of that I

The sound kept getting louder and louder. After awhile I see something moving in the corner of my eye! It 's a big buck! I get my Boomstick (gun) positioned and aimed at the deer. 3..2..1.. BOOM! The deer died instantly. Right after I pulled the trigger my hands had a mini seizure. After my hands stopped shaking, I climbed down the ladder and put the tag on the deer’s antler. A little bit later, my dad showed up and helped me field dress the deer. Soon after we got the deer gutted we called my brother and asked if he could bring the ranger so we could take it home. About ten minutes later he showed up and we took it home. I was so excited that I shot the big buck it gave me the chills and shakes. That night I went to bed thinking you don 't always get what you wish for but if you wish hard enough you may get what you want. That day I had a fun time learning about hunting. This was one of the best days of my hunting
He grasped the trigger, and shot. ‘’Bang,‘‘ the bullet exploded with power right out of the gun. Jamie looked up to find his trophy buck, but he could not see it. Although he knew to wait fifteen minutes, his eagerness took over and Jamie left his spot. Being cautious to make as little sound as possible, he dashed over to find the spot where he shot the buck. The buck was nowhere to be seen, but something else important was there.
It was a sunny afternoon we are at the farm in Hillman. I was waiting to go whitetail deer hunting. My dad was talking to his friend Buzz for a very long. Finally my dad was done talking and we started walking out to the edge of a barley field. I was using my dad 's 270.
They are making s'mores as they hear a loud rustle from I the woods so they grab their guns and go see why the noise was. As they are walking through the dark forest they ear the noise again and Fred looks to the lefts of his person and sees a deer. He goes for the shot and he got it. "I'll skin it tomorrow" says Fred.
Tom almost fell off the windowsill he was sitting on. None of the other turkeys or animals took him seriously. They laughed about it and then went about their business. Tom realized he had to get away from the farm, and fast! The next day the farmhands were loading a truck full of winter goods for the farmer’s market.
It must have been a fairly large animal too. The hunter had his nerve with him to tackle it with a light gun. It's clear that the brute put up a fight. I suppose the first three shots I heard was when the hunter flushed his quarry and wounded it. The last shot was when he trailed it here and finished it."(70)
I quickly sprang into action, I started army crawling to the mule deer it had to at least be a 6 x 7. I was about 20 yards away and it started running I pulled the trigger twice all I heard was “Click Click.” I had had forgot to insert the mag. The deer had gotten away I was very mad at myself for not thinking clearly.
Recently Owen Aerts has been hunting. Owen had shot a 6 point buck. He went hunting to manage the deer population in Lakewood Wisconsin where there was a lot of deer hunters out in the woods on that day ,but Owen got a buck. A lot of people just went out in the woods and sat next to a tree.
”On their way home they stopped and got some food and stopped at couple hunting stores. Other than Lane’s three hours pushing his boat over the dike he had a good time. He was sad and mad that his friend was sick and couldn't go hunt with him. It was still a great hunting trip except for the last day. If you plan on duck hunting the hard way, it is always imperative to bring your sense of humor along.
There is one thing in the woods that is really exciting and that is turkey hunting. Turkeys will get your heart racing and you blood rushing and have you shaking in just five seconds. When he comes up there strutting, spitting, and drumming, that’s when it gets real. When you hit that “yawt yawt” and he cuts you off gobbling that is when you know that he is just as good as dead. I am gonna tell plenty of turkey hunting experiences that i have had so i do not have to have a works cited page or nothing.
After see the deer and seeing where I shot it, it was time to get dirty. We walked back up to the tree to get the knife kit. On our way back to the deer we found the arrow it was so bloody and gross and smelled horrible. When we got to the deer my dad got his gloves on and got to work. It smelled so bad.
After about two hours of curiously watching my dad chasing two bucks around with a decoy, his buddy James texted us that there was a ginormous buck on his property. We scurried back to the truck and my dad, anticipating the odds of the buck still there, rushed us to James’ property about two miles away. We arrived just in the knick of time, as we spotted the herd of antelope grazing in the corner of his alfalfa field. Right away my dad located the buck we had been hunting the
I am currently trying to fall asleep in this cold and very uncomfortable tree. I can hear the pack of careers beneath me searching for a new prey. I 'm not worrying because I have my bow and they are too unskilled to climb this tree. I 'm glad I have the experience from hunting with you and my dad. I don 't know what I would have done without the skills you taught me.
The Hunt It was a gloomy September day and the bear hunting season was about to begin. The old farm truck was loaded full with barrels of cooking grease, assorted candy, birdseed and tubes of sticky frosting. We were to hunt four hours north in a little town called Orr, Minnesota. My family had an 80 acre lot that we used strictly for hunting. My mom volunteered to sit in the stand with me and videotape the hunt.
As, I turn to the left of me, I notice an alligator, whose skin looked as rough as a wood. I watch the rusty alligator tried catching its prey. The alligator stared at the deer for about four second and attacked it like a football player. I was clam the whole time it happened. I remember when I was eighteen years old, my cousin took me out to the woods one morning and he taught me how to shoot a deer.
The first day if hunting we went into the Black Hills and did a lot if walking to find some deer. When we finally found some my brother was the first to shoot, since he picked the bigger straw out of three, which was how we decided who gets to shoot first, he missed. So I was next up and when we saw another deer it was really far away and it took my seven shits before I killed it. It wasn't even worth trying to kill it because it was just a fawn and I wasted seven shots killing it and that was the end of day one.
