The resolutions had supported the theme because after his passing, Taylor and the rest of her family hung out a lot more, realizing that time is precious, and that they should use every second that they can together. “Second Chance Summer” by Morgan Matson is the story of a teenage girl Taylor Edwards who used her second chances in life to make everything
She was always positive, I still remember the day she was dieing. I came home all happy and in a really good mood, and I remember looking for my grandma everywhere so, I finally asked my grandpa where she was. My grandpa told me everything. The next thing I knew I was in my room crying my eyes out. I remember my grandma coming home and I had my door locked, my little sister was so scared she went and got my grandma.
Sue was inspired to become a coach because she liked how she created bonds with her previous coaches and wanted to be there for others. Her former cross country coach and her were very close and talked about every mental or physical struggle. From that she knew she needed to have an open door policy. She volunteered her time ensuring her players knew they could talk to her about anything, whenever they needed. Some people don’t have someone they can talk to and trust so her always being there made her a hero
A man’s role in life is to provide for the family in most cases, other than those great single mothers, but their hard work has a reward and it is the happiness of their family. I relate this to my parents, they provide for my sister and me, and we thank them for that with that special bond we have. C.S. Lewis also mentioned Need-Love, which is explained like when a child is in need for his/her mother’s arms (pg.11). I do not have any children, but I remember about my sister being a young child wanting
I was such a good time and was really nice to see all of the college students tailgating with their whole family. It was a huge reunion between a lot of families in the Oakton area. On top of it all, Virginia Tech won! One week had flown by and as Sunday came around it was time to leave. I said my goodbyes and headed back to Virginia Tech around one with my roommate, McKenzie.
Oprah turned her rough, traumatic childhood into a life that most only dream about, and she has always given back as well. Her struggles through childhood improved her ability to empathize and connect with people who do not have as much as she does. To help give back, she has created projects such as the Mississippi Animal Rescue League and the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa (“Look to the Stars”). The creation of these projects, along with her rampant success are what makes Oprah the perfect embodiment of the American Dream. All in all, Oprah’s impressive success story is something that has become commonly known as the American Dream, because that’s what it is.

I am living proof that is not always the case. If you have a good support system and a strong to fight for what you believe in, you can achieve anything. I became a mother at 16 and I have loved every sleepless night and tantrum thrown by my beautiful little girl, and I am so thankful I have her. I love being a mother. My life feels as though it has purpose.
Throughout my Life and high school career I have spent many hours with teachers and coaches. I have had many experiences, but the one that stands out most to me is my former cheerleading coach and gym teacher, Ms. Traska. She coached our team with no background in cheerleading. She brought us closer as a team and being part of this team has made a difference in my life. The two years that Ms. Traska coached were the most fun, productive, and memorable years that I have been on the team.
The book Between Shades of Grey changed me because it showed me to always stay true to yourself. It showed me to help each other especially in bad times. This book is about a fifteen year old girl whose family is taken. Lina’s family cared for everyone even if they were being obnoxious. They helped everyone whether they knew them or not.Lina’s family had open arms to everyone they met. People always have a chance to help others and we should show it more.
They are proud of me for all I’ve done, everything I’ve had to go through, all the adversity I’ve fought through. Phoebe is now an actress in Broadway, God I’m so proud of her. I always told her she could do it, ever since her play ten years ago. That’s all I really have to say about my family, except for the fact that I still miss Allie so much. Oh, and D.B.
She has struggled with depression and self-harm her entire life and still manages to produce videos for her fans because she inspires them to have self-confidence and do what makes them happy. She has made many videos where she has admitted that she struggles every day with her mental health, and for someone like me that struggles with self-esteem and depression, she makes me feel as if I am a part of a supportive group where she and her fans accept each other as we come, and can tell people to dress how they are the happiest. The feelings of community and support combined with great style and comedic videos is why Drew Disaster is my favorite fashion
I was heartbroken and she was too. We talk every day to every two days, but yet it was still horrible. Even though my grandparents tried to keep me happy and busy, I still missed her horribly! One time recently she was my ‘marigold’ and helped me through my tough times was when my mom’s friend was moving into our house. Emma has been through a lot of the same stuff as me, both of our parents are divorced so we have a few things in common with that. So, a few months ago my mom was telling me how one of her friends, that’s a guy, will be moving in with us. I immediately texted Emma and she was helping me through it. I didn’t want anyone moving in because I didn’t want him to take my mom away from me.
