Katelynn Mason Mrs. W English 101 10 November 2017 The Nightmare I run, hearing wrestling leafs and laughing through the woods. I stumble over a log and a dark figure with red beating eyes looks down at me. As the figure pulls out a silver gun, I scream in tourer. ‘Bang’ as a bullet is fired into my chest. Next I know, I’m awake in my bed huffing and puffing. I start to panic and feel my chest, nothing was there. “It was only a nightmare,” I say to myself. Thoughts rushing through my head as I was trying to figure out this mysterious figure. Before long I realized the time and that I was going to be late for work. So I jump out of bed and run around my house trying to get ready. After ten minutes, I finally head out the door and get in my car. Once getting to work, I get to my spot and start making food for people who are ordering. I run out the door with my bag and jump in the passenger side. He drives off and heads toward the usual place we all camp at. We ride up to a gate at the edge of his dads woods and we drive deeper into them. Finally reaching the open area with spots for tents and a fire place. We get out of the truck and set the site. Stephen puts up the tent while I look for some fire wood. Once done we start a fire and roast some s’mores, waiting for everyone else. “So, you feeling better since earlier?” he ask. “Yeah,” I reply. “Want a s’more?” he ask me holding one out that he just made. “Sure,” I reply and take the s’more. We started talking about work, college, and other random topics. Then all of a sudden we heard laughter through the trees. Fear strikes us and we start to worry.
