Growing up on Hilton Head and watching the multicolored sunsets at the end of everyday wasn 't something I wanted to give up just yet. A large portion of my family lives in Spartanburg. Living up there with family I haven 't seen in a while will remove the anxiety of being away from home. Students from USC Upstate are international. They don 't all come from South Carolina, but all over the world.
I had an amazing time at my first Georgia Southern game. The field and stadium looked absolutely beautiful. You could tell that the new
I feel grateful for the guidance and friendship that my advisors at Park have given me. While there are many things I hope my next advisor learns about me, and there are two important things I would like my Dana Hall advisor to know about me. Over the years, I have grown passionates for many different hobbies. I have always had a passion for arts and craft and I started doing more in second grade After a long day at school, I began to attend crocheting lessons as something fun and relaxing.
There is still so much for me to learn in the area of event management, interviewing Seth was invaluable. I hope to continue to develop a relationship with him and soak in all of his knowledge and experience in the field. Seth told me that at the end of his career he wants to be able to say that he never cheated or sold out, that he was always in it for the student athletes and coaches, not for just a paycheck. I would like to say some of the same things about my
So, that day I stood in front of the class and gave my entire speech on why we should select Dollywood as our class trip destination, "... and for your benefit and mine, we should definitely agree to go to Dollywood. Dollywood consists of everything we would need to fulfill our longing for an amazing field trip. So, if we were going to pick an, out of this world trip, it would have to be Dollywood!" On our way to the land of wonder, we experience many bumps in the road. The travel wasn 't your typical highway drive.
I’m interested in joining the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. I would love to join this organization, because I love what they stand for and what they have done for the world so far. They have done things as opening school in Haiti and Africa, Delta house in Africa, and many other things. One of the reason I want to join this prestigious organization is because they do stuff to better the country that I was born in, and everything that’s helping Haiti becomes a better country is something I have to at least try to be a part of. It will also help me get started with my plan on opening a youth center in Haiti.
Being so close to home will allow me to branch out and experience life while also having a sense of familiarity with the area that I have grown to know and love. I also really embrace the Seahawk life as a whole and have really taken notice as of late at just how much school spirit there is around the campus, which is something that I really value. My major which is not entirely offered at UNC Wilmington is very important to me as I strive to become an athletic director, but I have spoken to a few people that are taking the same career path as me that have told me that the admissions department was eager to work with them to piece together exactly the courses they need. The entire atmosphere just makes me feel more comfortable than other places that I have the options of being and when I see myself in the next years I see myself at UNC Wilmington. This would be the best decision for me not just for the reasons mentioned above, but for my well being in order for me
While I am still quite new to Alabama, through recent caving trips to the state I have fell in love with everything the state has to offer. From the kind faces at every turn, to the wonderful caves and outdoors, I hope to call Alabama home in the near future. Additionally, with my brother starting college in Huntsville this fall, I am looking to maintain family ties by attending UAB.
And I would love to be able to witness all of the different stories that the artwork in Chicago has to offer. It would mean the world to me to go on this trip and experience all the great possibilities that the paintings, sculptures, clothework, etc, can show me. I think it would be extremely beneficial to not only my present, but also my future. I would not take a single second of this trip for granted, I promise you. This is a place I have always wanted to visit, but have never gotten the opportunity.
As you can see I always had a passion for working with children ever since I was young which is why my future goals are to build my own recreation center for kids eight to eighteen which will be called “Kinship Unity”. Furthermore, I believe attending this university will give me the opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge to advocate for those who need a person that will stand up for them and help them to be able to advocate for themselves one day or even others and to see them succeed in life. Thank you for your
Whether that be for a professional sports team or whatever other opportunity crosses my path. I hope to gain a lot from attending the Honors College. I 've always been the person who loves to work hard. Being in the honors college would be the next step, and help me meet people just like me. Being able to spread my ideas with others is the main thing, and trying to get the most out of my college education I can.
My experience at St.Rita has helped shape me because there are so many opportunities to shape myself. The opportunities they offer help shape you because they help you become who you want to be, whether you want to be a singer, athlete, or an actor. This school has helped shape me to become a compassionate person. Although I have became a compassionate person I will miss a lot of things here at St. Rita. What I will miss the most
To live, study and work with students like me from all across Arkansas, would not only be an honor but an extraordinary and challenging experience for my mental capabilities. Attending ASMSA would be a great opportunity to thoroughly express my hard work ethic and dedication. With my persistence, I could accomplish anything and everything. I believe that by attending ASMSA, I would better help prepare myself for my future and make extraordinary achievements. My role as part of the ASMSA community would not simply be a student, but rather be an achiever.
Now, the laid back southern life to me, is the way to go! No one is ever in a hurry it seems, just moseying along at their own tempo of life. Sitting back relaxing in the yard with family and friends talking about everything under the sky, laughing and cutting up with one another, having a cook-out or a late night bonfire enjoying the night air, sippin’ on some sweet tea, is what is special in my heart.
My most significant endeavor since attending community college would be helping my community to receive an Adult Daycare. Thought this endeavorer I have applied my knowledge that I have learned about the disease to educate others in my community who may not have to know the impact of it. I have also used and sought the aid of my relationship that I have built by being at my community college. This Adult Daycare service or Coltrane LIFE center is something that I am passionate about having in my hometown. My grandpa has Alzheimer's and I have seen the stress that tolls on the family and caregiver.
