Ever since I was a toddler, I loved sports. Baseball, basketball, it did not matter; I just liked to run. When I was around 4 or 5, I was in the living room watching the Steelers play the Cardinals and saw Santonio Holmes grab a game winning touchdown to win the Superbowl. I was so excited that I jumped up in the air and I told my dad, “Daddy when I grow up I want to play football and I want to score a lot of touchdowns just like 10 does.”
Why is the NFL so popular? Playing football in the NFL takes a lot of skill and takes a lot of dedication. First, I was about four or five years old playing what was then flag football. I played line, but I occasionally got to run the ball and I never will forget the first time I scored. I participated in flag football, and we were playing at the old middle school and I took the handoff outside and as I was running down field, I turned around and almost fell, but I still scored. After the year had ended, year two came around and I didn’t really want to play, but
Everyone just loves going to camp right? The difference between this camp and any other one was that it was a collegiate football camp. It was arrival day for the football team and emotions were going with me. I didn 't know if I should be happy , nervous or anxious. The first day of camp was a pretty restful day, it contained walking and a lot of it. We had to walk to the doctors in the vicious heat, it felt like it was about 100 degrees. The sun was beating on my neck as if someone was holding a magnifying glass against it. After the doctors it was raining, which was probably the most satisfying thing of the day. The rain felt so relieved, it cooled me from the heat. But it did feel like I took a shower once I got inside. I walk back to the dorms and all I hear is the squeaking of
My sister’s friend Lizzie told me that her little brother relinquished football because he was too afraid to tackle people. When I had heard that story I thought that it was really eerie. For instance why would you join football if you are too afraid to tackle people. Just find a different sport that does not include tackling.
“Football only lasts a few months, your education lasts you a lifetime” coach Horner says very often. My time in Columbia has benefited me substantially. All of the teachers have given me a new thought or new way to vision my future. Almost all in a positive way. Supportive would be an understatement to describe all of the faculty and staff of Columbia High school.
I would like to meet Randy Moss .I picked him to meet because he was my role model. He played football and I like football. He won a championship with the patriots. I want to get drafted to the patriots like him. He had a son. His wife name was Charrette.
Can teenagers and children that contribute in football get experience that can help them in the future?. Teens that contribute in this serious sport can get extremely damaged or even die, but many of the teens and children that contribute in either High School Football or Pop Warner Football many capabilities, such as teamwork and problem solving. I would be pleased for my child to play football, because he can gain knowledge in working with others, solve his problems as a team, and learn that when life brings him down, he has to get back up no matter if they bring him down in a game or in the real world.. Additionally, if he desires to continue football and become a professional football player.
Football is a fun yet easy sport. Most athletes that play football have a lot of fun playing, learning new things. But it could be challenging and able to learn things off of. The teams get to go up against each other to get into the playoffs and then try for the Superbowl. Playing football, I believe, is the most exciting sport, because of learning new things, getting a little bit of a competition, and having fun while playing.
Honestly, the biggest failure that I had to deal with in my life was being benched last year for high school soccer. I tried out for soccer my freshman year and didn 't make it, so I tried out again my sophomore year and have been on the team ever since. During my sophomore year, I played on the junior varsity team. My junior year I started out on the junior varsity team again and then got moved up to the varsity team. I always worked my hardest at practice and put in work outside of what was required of me, however, I almost never got to play in the games. Every now and then I would get put in to play, but it wasn 't for long. It was difficult for me to work hard on and off the field but then barely be able to play in the game. Especially
I am currently a graduate student working toward my master’s degree in Sports Business at NYU. I have worked multiple internships over the last three years focusing on a variety aspects related to the sports industry. However, it was not until I worked for the SMU football team that I realized I wanted to be apart of the football side of the industry in the NFL. While working for the SMU team I was able to travel to all away games and got a chance to see and understand what it takes to run a Division I program. I parlayed my time with SMU into a training camp internship with the New York Jets working in their Football Operations department. This was another successful step in the right direction. I was able to learn first hand the logistics that go into running a NFL team. I was able to interact with players, coaches, and the football staff. Now as I look toward the future I would love the opportunity to experience the NFL at the league level. I have experienced the club side and now would love to learn more about how the NFL operates on a daily bases.
