Then during the last week of July we booked a trip to Dollywood! We got really lucky with our reservations because all of the Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg hotels were booked. There was only one hotel we could get and it was in Kodak. It's about 10 miles from Pigeon Forge. Whenever we go to Tennesse on vacation it's usually never that crowded.
Growing up in the 20th and 21st century, there never was a shortage of music to listen to and never a shortage of people telling me what kind to like. From rap, to rock, to folk music, music is all around. One genre that stuck with me and easily became my favorite: Country Music. My love began in the summer of 2000, while my dad was playing his hank Williams Jr. CDs, I screamed “Dad! Dad!
Several individuals from different ethnicities, races, and citizenships, compose a society. The United Sates allow us to have a close interaction with numerous individuals from diverse backgrounds. In my own case I have been able to interact with many incredible individuals from all over the world who come from extremely different backgrounds. I am a proud Mexican who cherishes respect towards diversity. Coming from a very suffered country I am able to understand not only what does it means to feel proud to be a Latino, but also I can feel acquainted with the pain and struggle that our community has to face every day.
In the small town of San Diego, Texas is where the Mew Ranch lies. The ranch is 300 acres of mesquite trees and dirt roads filled with all different kinds of wildlife. This ranch has been in my my family a little over 125 years. My great great great great uncle, John Cleary, was the mayor of this thriving town back in the day that was known for its sheep farming. Everyone adored John Cleary and when elections were coming up, everyone knew that John was going to win.
I live in a minuscule town in Western North Carolina, where southern traditions are very important to the majority of the population. Such as drinking sweet tea, eating biscuits and gravy, and going to church. Here within one of those important traditions lies why I had to take such a significant risk. At the beginning of my eighth grade year of middle school, only a mere thirteen years of age, I knew I was different. However, what made me different would surely turn many against me.
I have been waiting since the start of summer for this day, the day to go against Topeka West the school that have been talking stuff for the longest. There was so much hype about this game and it was finally here, when the bell ringed at the end of the day i rushed out of class and got on the bus to head over to chandler our practice field. When we got there we all the football players loaded off the bus and when we got off there was a table of chips,water,gatorade,PB & J and fruit snacks so we didn’t play on an empty stomach. After we ate and got ready coach talk to us for a little bit and then we got on the bus to head to Hummer sports park, it was a loud bus
My Theme Song Songs can connect with how we feel and our experiences. Music has been a major part of my life ever since I was just a toddler. For me music has helped me express what I am feeling and who I am as a person. My therapy has been music, it has helped me through almost every problem I have faced. With listening to the song lyrics, we can get a true understanding of what the artist is trying to tell us.
Knowing how to sing is a blessing that may come naturally to some people, but to others it requires practice and effort to learn how to properly develop this gift. Having seen many live performances and having a dad who could sing was an inspiration for me to develop such a talent. Music has always been my passion, and I knew that singing would give me another exciting opportunity to enjoy the feeling performance creates. I did not have a natural voice from a young age so learning to sing was challenging and pushed me beyond my orchestral limits--emotionally and physically--but with the strong desire I had and the toil I was willing to endure when learning this art, I persevered to becoming a singer.

I had an awesome summer this year! My family and I spent lots of time with our relatives and doing fun activities. During the summer we rodeo, spent time with family, worked, went on vacation and just spent time with friends. Read below to find more about my exciting summer. I have always been a particularly musical person. When I was younger, I wanted to become a singer when I grew up, but upon joining the choir in elementary I realized I did not have the talent for singing that I thought I had. Continually singing off key and never sounding as good as my peers did, I decided to confine myself to singing at home where only my family could hear me. Despite this revelation that I was, in fact, a terrible singer, I still wanted to participate in some type of musical performance and decided to join the band in middle school. After trying out various different instruments, I settled on the flute and quickly fell in love.
Chris Brown is the reinvented Michael Jackson. Chris is 28, he was born on May 5, 1989. His real name is Christopher Maurice Brown. His contribution to R&B is that he made young people want to start dancing again, because before Chris came out u really didn’t see any young people dancing. He is a great singer.
