I was very impress with this police officer knowledge because he gave me more than enough information about the police agency he work for. Even though he work before he decide to settle down to the one he want. I learn that before you can go to any other division you must start at patrolling. Until you get pass that level you cannot move on to the one you desire the most. Plus you have to get interview all over if you want to switch.
SGT. Barrett and I contacted a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot that was parked in an unlit area at approximately 2300 hours. Once outside of our vehicle I started flanking toward the right side of the white Nissan Maxima, as the windows were darked out. SGT. Barrett went to the driver side of the vehicle, where the door was ajar, with a male sitting in the driver's seat with his feet planted on the ground I heard what sounded like a dense metal object fall onto the pavement from the driver's side of the vehicle.
In 2005, Carl Bryan was stopped in Coronado, California for a seat belt violation. Bryan had already been stopped that same morning on a speeding charge, at this point he was upset with himself. Because of this, he was hitting the steering wheel and yelling expletives at himself. He complied with the officer, when he requested to turn the radio down and pull to the curb. The following part is where Bryan and the officer 's story is different.

It was a good day during the winter, and me and my friends all wanted to paintball. So we all got geared up and went to the field to get ready to play capture the flag. So I got on the blue team, and got into my sniper position. Which isn’t very far from my flag. So the first person I saw was about 100ft away.

Throughout life, everyone will come to face obstacles or challenges that they will have to face. Some obstacles can be small like passing a class or learning how to tie your shoes, and some obstacles can be big like facing your fears or going through your parents’ divorce. I’ve faced many conflicts or obstacles in my life, most being fairly small, but there were some obstacles that might seem small to others, but felt very big to me. One of my biggest obstacles that I have had to face was running for district officer for Longview District FFA.

I believe in the act of paying it forward, and treating others the way you want to be treated in the midst of it. Ever since I was a little girl, I always had a heart to help anyone that I was able to. I hated seeing others down, making it seem as if I was higher than them when I had nothing. I believed that if I was in their shoes, I would want someone to help me. Seeing homeless people on the side of the streets sad, hungry, desperate for just a bite of a sandwich or even a couple dollars to get them by for the next few days, made me realize how much I want to help people who are in need.
I was in the office early and worked on Tactical Doctrine all day. I was still blowing blood out of my nose. I went to see Barney and he sent me over to the other side of the field to the 8th hospital to get my sinus's x-rayed. Al Moorman got a MiG on the noon mission, and Sanders and Hemmer split one. I decided that I would not go on R & R as scheduled.
After researching this career, it made me want to become a police officer even more. I would love to give back to my community as much as I can and I think this is a great career to do
My mother, Diane Smith, is the subject of my interview and her journey to begin a career in Law Enforcement. When she was 18 years old, she moved from West Jefferson to Wilkes County to begin her college years at Wilkes Community College. Diane lived in an apartment with her best friend and roommate, Nancy Childers. Nancy worked part time at KFC and Diane worked part time at Blue Ridge Opportunity Commission as an office assistant. One afternoon, when Diane got off work at her office job, she drove to KFC to see Nancy.
Eight years ago I walked into a Navy recruiter's office and said, " If I join today, when is the soonest I can go to boot camp? " I did not know what to expect. However I was sure of one thing, and that was that I wanted to join the United States Navy. As those eight years ensued, the Navy began to mold me physically and mentally. Some of the changes I underwent were positive, and others were rather uncouth.
My job as a lifeguard is very challenging but yet I would say.. somehow rewarding. In all honesty, I never really wanted this kind of job. As a kid, I’ve always pictured myself as someone who wears different kinds of corporate attires for work. I imagined myself owning a pad or renting an apartment in a city, working on business plans, attending meetings and conventions, grabbing a cup of coffee on my way to work, and other stuff that a businessman or at least an office clerk usually does. Looking back at it, I don’t actually know if that was what I pictured myself or if that was just the kind of person I wished to be.

My engine opened at full throttle and my heartrate bouncing off redline as I saw the black smoke pouring into the sky like a coal factory chimney stack. While my partner and I arrived at the fire scene, the apartment was spitting out flames that crawled three stories high. Then, my partner and I downed our Personal Protective Gear (PPE) and the pulled attack line from the fire truck. Next, without a thought of fear, I entered the burning building. I pressed my left hand against the wall to guide me towards the fire as my right hand firmly gripped the nozzle, I continued into the blaze.
