My job is to cover all of them so that nothing comes off as a shock down the way. It only gets difficult from here. Internal Obstacles These are various emotional and mental problems. These are difficult to remove as I don’t know how deep a certain emotion is.The right line of questioning is impertinent here. The questions like thinking about the worst-case scenarios, the current stress level are key to unravelling yourself.
Throughout our lives we will be faced with monumental difficulties and hardships. Setbacks like failure are inevitable. Other misfortunes like sickness, death to loved ones, job loss, among many other personal tragedies, are more or less out of our control. Thankfully we possess complete autonomy over one essential factor, our reaction. Pangloss’s teachings boiled down to a simple belief that everything happens for a reason and that it is eventually for the best, giving us reason to never quit or lose optimism in our endeavors.
(2014) that many definitions neglect the complex nature of resilience. Determinants of resilience include factors such as biological, psychological, social and cultural that ultimately interact together, then generating a response to stressful experiences (Southwick et al., 2014). Taylor et al. (2011) also exploits resilience as only placing a plaster over the wound caused by macro-structural inequalities in power and resources. It would seem that resilience is often mistakenly assumed to be a trait of the individual, however research explores that resilience is the result of individuals interacting with their environments to promote well-being and protecting themselves against the overwhelming influence of risk factors (Kent et al.,
“Another source of greatness is difficulty. When any work seems to have required immense force and labour to effect it, the idea is grand” -Edmund Burke Obstacles are challenges that make a better version of ourselves, doors that we need to open to achieve greatness and success. These obstacles can range from your school work to the death of a loved one. Everyone faces obstacles and challenges, some overcome them and some get overcome by the obstacles. In fact, obstacles are a necessary impetus and a driving force in our lives to keep us motivated towards our ultimate goals.
In Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, characters in Salem have difficult situations they need to overcome. This is an example of a “crucible,” or a difficult situation that someone overcomes and is better for it in the end i am a example of this because i was born with a crucible and i am pushing life to live life to the fullest and the best of my ability.the reasons why i am a true example of a crucible because i have a rare genetic disorder that makes me different inside and out it hard and i struggle with things but i get through it. The first reason this is my crucible because I am 1 in 10,000 to 30,000 people worldwide in year 2000 that was born with prader willi syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that is on the spectrum everyone is different Prader-Willi syndrome is a complicated condition that is caused by something happening with your geans also that affects many parts of the body. Courage is a word that encompasses several different attributes. Though courage requires audacity within a person to navigate through arduous experiences, it also embodies the resilience and attitude it takes to inspire so many. The word is regarded as a compliment because of its deeper meaning. Throughout the novel The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien, the characters in the novel struggle to understand courage and what it really is. The men at war in the novel are young and still a bit naïve.
After a person begins, they need to continue to have faith in themselves and also know that failure is part of the process and one can grow the most from it. Being aware of these ideas to overcome challenges can help a person do anything they set their mind too. Gail Devers a famous Olympian once said “Every accomplishment starts with a decision to try.”, this quote can be applied to overcoming a challenge in ones life. Deciding to try and finding the motivation to do something great needs to come from within. In order to take on a challenge, one needs to enter the situation with the right mindset.
Something that I always strive to do and to be is someone who chases their dreams. I’ve been known to pursue my passions, I take risks in life (even when I fail), and I try to show love and compassion for those around me. In my analysis, I did point out that there are still some areas that I would like to work on more., and much of this comes from the analysis that I have seen in my life and through the responses of others (360-feedback), but I’ll save the 360 for the next section. I’ve seen areas of my life currently where I am stuck in a repeating motion of doing the same things over again, whether it be good or bad habits. I would like to move forward more in my pursuits, but at my current stage in life, I am focusing on school and work which has pushed back some of my other
However, we are beginning to see the birth of a rebuttal to conventional wisdom. Some are beginning to argue that the debilitating conditions that we have diagnosed as illnesses or imperfections could be great sources of strength, which leave the inflicted better off than they would have been without it. On the other hand, many argue that these conditions create a frustrated mind, which damns progress and leads to civil

The ability to tough it out and bounce back from the adversity, makes you stronger and more capable for other challenges and opportunities
While the pain i went through was a lot different than what Mariam and Laila had to endure in the book A Thousand Splendid Suns, but the way you endure the pain and suffering is always the same. Hardships are endured by being both mentally and physically strong, by looking for and loving the ones around you, and be willing to see a better future for everyone. In the book A Thousand Splendid Suns, both Laila and Mariam had to show strength. They had to show both mental and physical strength
The fearful beginnings they all had motivated them to do their very best in the end. A significant phrase from the author of this book was “There were glimmers of better times to come, but they were just glimmers.” The definition of the word glimmer is to shine faintly and have an unsteady reflection. Joe was not quite sure of what his future held for him but he had hope for it and faith that he would outshine and become
