Personal Reflection For Children With ADHD

For my personal reflections, I am very appreciated to our interviewee to provide this opportunity for us to conduct this interview session in the real setting of the practical workplace and this is very practical ways for me to experience and learn the overall process of conducting the interview and knowledge about ADHD from the interviewee. From the interview, I have learnt that ADHD have multiple causes can be developed and all the mental illness is cannot cure included ADHD, however, it can manage well. Manage ADHD is not solely based on the individual but is highly cooperate with each other to maintain the quality life of ADHD (Antshe, et al., 2011; Mueller & Tomblin, 2012). Besides these, I just discover our country have relevant laws that accommodate to protect children with ADHD especially in the school setting. The highlighted of the interview is children with ADHD faced many obstacles and affect their life functioning in many areas, it is important to help them to manage their conditions in life (Antshe, et al., 2011). The inspiring thought that I obtained from the interview is everyone has the responsibility to understand the condition of ADHD and to help ADHD population to adapt and manage life instead of solely depend on professional therapist because the most effective treatment is combination treatment and needed cooperation from client, family, community and cultural or societal (Antshe, et al., 2011; Mueller & Tomblin, 2012).
