For my personal reflections, I am very appreciated to our interviewee to provide this opportunity for us to conduct this interview session in the real setting of the practical workplace and this is very practical ways for me to experience and learn the overall process of conducting the interview and knowledge about ADHD from the interviewee. From the interview, I have learnt that ADHD have multiple causes can be developed and all the mental illness is cannot cure included ADHD, however, it can manage well. Manage ADHD is not solely based on the individual but is highly cooperate with each other to maintain the quality life of ADHD (Antshe, et al., 2011; Mueller & Tomblin, 2012). Besides these, I just discover our country have relevant laws that accommodate to protect children with ADHD especially in the school setting. The highlighted of the interview is children with ADHD faced many obstacles and affect their life functioning in many areas, it is important to help them to manage their conditions in life (Antshe, et al., 2011). The inspiring thought that I obtained from the interview is everyone has the responsibility to understand the condition of ADHD and to help ADHD population to adapt and manage life instead of solely depend on professional therapist because the most effective treatment is combination treatment and needed cooperation from client, family, community and cultural or societal (Antshe, et al., 2011; Mueller & Tomblin, 2012). This interview was very personal for me. The boy who suffers from Apraxia is my eight year old nephew, so the person who I interviewed was my sister. It is very hard for her each year because as he continues to further his education, the more she has to email and have conferences with his teachers to make sure they understand exactly what is going on. When I have conversations with him and he gets into a story or gets excited, he starts to stutter. Apraxia is rare in schools and that is why my sister has to educate all of his teachers on his disability.
Living with ADHD, I face many obstacles in my life regarding school, work, extracurricular activities and in other aspects of my life. I was officially diagnosed with ADHD when I was in the seventh grade, but despite the diagnosis later in my life, I always experienced difficulty involving school. The main challenges I face include my homework, especially if it is an assignment I have received in advance. When it comes to working on my homework, I am never able to sit down and finish it; I am always bouncing around from subject to subject. Because of the constant bouncing around while doing my homework, the biggest problem that I face with my ADHD arises, disorganization.
This many children having ADHD is highly unlikely, and researchers have been discovering the causes for the rise in diagnoses. ADHD is being overdiagnosed because test scores now affect funding for schools, proper evaluations are not performed, and the educational system expects too much from children.

The feeling of being abnormal because being different is wrong. No parent wants this for their child, logically the parents think it’s the right decision to medicate their child. ADHD, also known as “Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder” Children with ADHD may be hyperactive and unable to control their impulse. Last year I got to know one of them, her name was Sunny. We didn’t have a pleasant start to know each other, all I knew was that she is a hard nut to crack. I could only hear an annoying kid bounding, and making sounds of sudden shrieking or sniveling that alerted me anytime.
I have been faced with many challenges with ADHD. It affects every aspect of my life including my behavior, my mood and most of all my cognitive and organizational skills. My late diagnosis made it difficult to accept and understand what was happening. First I was diagnosed with defiant child syndrome because I was not respecting my teachers at school, fighting and just being disrespectful.
Many children have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), and the amount of those children being prescribed a medication for their disorder has grown largely in the last couple of years. This caused concern to arise in doctors; some of them went as far to say that most children diagnosed and treated for ADHD are really just immature and undisciplined (Koplewicz). Even if this is untrue, they say that the children would do better if treated with alternative options. Children diagnosed with ADHD are in serious distress, but not because of bad teaching or parenting. It is because their brains work differently than others, and they need to be treated properly.
The last reason why children are being misdiagnosed for ADHD is because the child’s doctors are taking the easy way out. Once, doctors insisted on hours of evaluation of a child before making a diagnosis or prescribing a medication. Today doctors brag that they can make an initial assessment of a child and write a prescription in less than 20 minutes (Guelph Murphy 2006). Some doctors today think treating a child is more about speed rather than accuracy. “Many Clinicians find it easier to tell parents their child has a brain- based disorder than suggest parenting changes” (Guelph Murphy 2006).
The three mental ailments associated with ADHD are inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsivity. Living with these conditions is no easy task. Anyone of those symptoms can individually lead to not having good grades, or even losing track of a simple conversation. Put all of them together and you have a dangerous mix that in undoubtably going to lead to poor school performance and an inept social life, if the proper means are not taken. Therefore, the effectiveness outweighs the risk when it comes to this medication, which in turn makes ADHD medication a promising and efficient treatment for children with attention deficit hyperactivity
