Reflective writing:
I’ve always been the one who has astounding ideas and critical thinking, I’ve also wanted to convince people to support me, but I’ve never tried to listen to anyone, instead I generally worked by myself and kept my plans for me. Now in my new school, working in groups and sharing ideas is one of the most important things because it shows you are social, and able to deal with people. My first experience in a band was in the beginning of the year. It was in biology where the teacher divided us to teams of 5, also she gave us instructions. I have now realized that I should start adapting with this new way of working which imposed me to change my work system. Everyone wanted to choose his team members, but that was not possible because the teacher had already decided this. When we knew our mates and received the instructions we started working.
Our investigations was about the typical soil and organisms in Sweden. We had to collect soil layers and plants, measuring the temperature, digging a hole, and drawing a map of our square. Everything was clear and each one got his task and prepared for it, in addition to everyone agreed and did

The more you work, the better result you get. Working in a group was a new thing for me, therefore I had to adapt it, and try to make myself a useful member who can help his mates and get help from them in the same time. My team was not the best, and in the same time it was not bad. I’m used to working by myself but I had to adapt the new system of working. Almost everyone in the class did not have team experience before, so first everybody wanted to impose his opinion on the whole group. In spite of that everybody wanted to help, they were arguing about everything, finally we managed to agree with each other. The challenge was not only agreeing, but also not all of us followed what we had already agreed about and because of this we did not collect much plants and
Every time that a group project is assigned I look everywhere in search of hardworking people, but unfortunately this is rare nowadays. I personally do not like working with a group of people, it is a waste of our time for a number of reasons. People are more dependent on one another and expect the job to be done for them without even trying. This affects the way we are now, things are not supposed to be easy and just magically be solved; it defeats the purpose of working together with each other and learning. I agree that more people can serve as a power source for more research, but it still isn’t sufficient enough for those who just act like fools and don’t get their work done; the one’s that are goofing around can distract the rest of the group members and convince them to join the dark
If the class worked hard during the week, then we were rewarded a fishing day on Friday. Through the experiences and activities in horticulture, I learned that working hard can be rewarding. Mr. Schaidle shared a lot of knowledge about the activities we pursued. To me, it was like hands-on practice of outdoor things we will be doing as adults someday.
Consequently, the Apache tribe was finally forced to work as a team to survive and learned to trust each other. The constant arguments ceased to exist as the members began to work together as one. Descendents of these members of the tribe were careful to not make the same mistakes. A leader was always selected prior to heading into war and the tribe was able to succeed. They worked as a unit, trusted each other, and during their next battle against the Cheyenne, they redeemed themselves and won, restoring power and pride to the Apache name.
I would always rather work by myself other than working in a group with other people because
Group learning was imperative for my growth as an individual in a society where working with others is inevitable, and an essential ability. Knowing this, I am going to communicate this as much as I can to any students I encounter who are anti-group
I do a lot of group work but I would always rather work alone because I become more stressed about giving work to others and knowing that the might not do the work. I do better when I work alone and I find it more peaceful On 91its states that you should make all paragraphs as good as possible and only worry about one paragraph at a time. That’s something I should probably star doing because I need to start focusing on my writing and pay attention to my grammar.
Upon sitting down in biology class on the first day of school that year, Mr. Euler had pointed to a wall with numerous papers that each had a different classroom-management expression on it and had assigned each of students to pick an expression, then write
Working with a group of members having diverse cultures, experiences, personalities and skills can result in difficulties. An unpopular choice I made was during my Social Studies 11 course, I was assigned a group report about Pierre Trudeau. I was faced with a dilemma, I had to choose between my friends who were not the most “hardworking” or complete strangers who I knew were efficient and astute. Realizing that my grades mattered I took the risk of teaming up with strangers. We were all strong students and wanted to do well on the report, but we didn’t know one another.
At first the group struggled to come together, but soon we realized that our different experiences and perceptions made us a strong unit as we were given tasks to complete. Through this simple task of group work, I began to realize just how special this leadership training was for me and my future. For example, when we had a treasure hunt, and only one person could talk. To say the least, our communication skills were tested, but each of us stepped up with different ways of expressing our ideas
Before, and maybe until now, I use to stay on my side, not make friends, and not ask teacher when I have doubts about something. I used to feel scare of making mistakes while I’m talking. In addition, I was aware that shyness doesn’t help me to be a successful student. However, I’ve found two essential things that is helping me to overcome shyness, which is the group work. Since the group work requires students to share their opinions, it allows me talk and to meet classmates.
Reflective Observation (Watching) Despite some arguments about the framework at the beginning of the project, my team is very cooperative, and we have the same perspective, since we already had working experience in previous assignments. Our solid team was confirmed when we had a ‘cone dance exercise’ that we can complete smoothly and very fast. As the leader, I facilitated the whole work process to enhance group effectiveness, solve problems and achieve the shared goals.
At our first few meetings, team building was key. In an effort to overcome the initial shyness, we took the time to understand and get to know our fellow team members; in doing so, establishing a welcoming and encouraging environment for everyone to share their ideas whist too ensuring everyone felt appreciated. Getting the team to gel was essential for the team to get results. We met at regular intervals, usually weekly, to discuss and reassess our progress. However, finding the time to meet proved quite difficult, between everyone’s busy schedules and with the plenty of other assignments we all had going on simultaneously.
Last week, we finished the last group work—World Drumming Project. Although this was the last project, my group members still did this project conscientiously. I think we did well in our group work. The first we discussion about how to assign the work, and then we began writing our rhythm. Our members contribute equally, and I think our cooperation leaded this job successfully.
How to develop your teamwork skills Know where you are - The best way to assess yourself is to place yourself in team situations through team sports, project teams, and organizational teams for events at your institute. Analyze your strengths and weaknesses - Use the above information to be team-oriented, not group-oriented. Reflect on what you did well and where you need to improve. For example, were you too accommodating with others and as a result, kept your ideas to yourself? Remember, conflict is not necessarily a bad thing, provided it serves to achieve the team goal.
Walk out, we headed straight to the top of the stairs and waited for everyone and the teacher. After he had finally come, we went the classroom and learn about some things about some sea creatures that could have problems and how they could fix these problems. Then we headed out of the classroom. As we headed out of the classroom, we split up in our groups again and our group headed to the penguin research area. Afterward, we went to the bus and that is where our field trip
