When I was two years old, my late grandma had Parkinson’s disease. During that time I would always “doctor” her and give her “shots.” Her nurses had little Scrubs made for me and I would always wear them. So the idea of pursuing the medical field had been gestating within me at an early age, and that is something I still aspire to do. In certain situations, a doctor can mean the difference between living or dying. People in our society depend on doctors to save them, and I want to be a part of that. Doctors are the reason people are living longer and living healthier. People who are cancer survivors, like my mother and aunt, owe their survival to the doctors, researchers, and nurses who treated them.As a doctor I would like to make an impact on people and their lives. I want to be the reason someone is able to live another day. When a new epidemic occurs, the information provided by doctors and researchers can help the outbreak be contained. Everyday doctors find the cures to diseases thought to be incurable. The medical field is constantly discovering and improving new medicines and treatments …show more content…
I want ot be a part of an advocacy group that focuses on health care issues. I would want o work together with others to distribute information about living healthier lifestyles. I would go on mission trips as a volunteer to help with natural disaster victims and aid anyone who needed medical care. I aspire to help ease the suffering of people, so they can go on and rebuild their communities and their lives. I believe that it is the sympathy and compassion doctors show that truly impact people. I hear people say that in the future doctors will no longer be needed because we will have machines that will be able to do their job for them. I personally disagree because a machine will not be able to comfort a patient or their loved ones. Doctors will always be considered indispensable to the
I would strive to be a person of integrity, like Raoul Wallenberg or Albert Schweitzer, who can make a difference between life and death. I would also educate myself on the experiences of those who have suffered from injustice and use my privilege to amplify their voices. It's easy to feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the issues facing our world today. However, as Elie Wiesel reminds us, "There is much to be done, there is much that can be done. " We must always take sides, and we must never be silent in the face of suffering and humiliation.
Also, my long term exercise is to get into a nature science program in a good cegep to get to medical school after and then pursue a career as a neurological surgeon. Finally, since I'm an organized and responsible person, I'd be able to do great at my job since it's mostly about classifying documents and sending mails.
Once I become a doctor, I will help mentor other children, especially in Haiti; to help inspire their passions for the medical field. I also will draw awareness for public health by helping youth and their families in my community. It will bring me so much joy to see a young child who loves to learn and grow pursue their own dreams. And my biggest long- term goal for my future is to open a free health clinic for the poor in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; my father's hometown. I know how extremely difficult that goal is to accomplish but I have faith and dedication that rises above any circumstances.
What has most influenced your professional or career aspirations for the future? My aspiration of becoming a Physician Assistant is influenced by society. I am very dedicated to help. I want to help everyone. I will be honored to become a Nurse Aid and be everything I can be in the medical field. I will offer my services when needed and do as much as possible. Everything I have learned is pushing me to exceed my goals.
I have always wanted to help people and to help them better their lives, but I never could figure out how I could make that passion a reality, until the day I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at age eleven. After that rough period in life, I learned how I could help other people. I could listen to them and try to help them better understand themselves. Life is much easier for a person when they have people who believe in them like a psychologist or therapist. My college plan would be to earn a bachelor, and master degree in Psychology to become a Behavior Analyst.
My plan is to have my very own successful healthcare facility. Taking care of families with little to no healthcare coverage. I want to be that example that others want to follow by. I plan to hire a group of individuals who loves their line of work and enjoy putting a smile on someone’s face.
Since I was little I have always wanted a job to where I am constantly helping people get back on their feet. Seeing these nurses take care of my family the way they did make me want to become that one day! There are many different branches in the medical field, and the one I'm most interested in is being a Flight Nurse or a trauma nurse.
I want to earn my way up to a good university and earn my degree, apply to an outstanding dental school and start my long years of residency that lie before me. One of my goals in the future is to help others in need for medical attention. It makes me happy when I see others happy. I want to give back to my community and help others so I can earn the respect that I’ve always wanted.
I want to be a physician because I want people to grow old. At the age of 6, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with leukemia. By age 8, the disease claimed his life, robbing him of the opportunity to experience the privilege of growing old. Unfortunately, we live in a society of vanity. We see the process of aging and choose not to embrace it.
I plan on treating and helping everyone I can. I hope to be the person all the women, men, and children look forward to coming to see. I want to be the nurse practitioner that makes a difference in other people’s lives on a daily basis. Being a nurse practitioner you learn many different things, and that’s what I look forward to the most. There is nothing more than obtaining all the knowledge you can.
My long term goal would be to assist with the elderly as I’m very drawn to the geriatric community. My faith in Jesus Christ has guided me to fulfill my passion in becoming a nurse. I truly believe that becoming a nurse will help me to completely understand the value of human life. I
Holding a diploma in my hands and going to college has been one of my dearest dreams; I have always believed in reaching my maximum potential and dreamed numerous times of being able to go to medical school, study, help and lead my community through the medical field. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to become a doctor, I have always been amazed and feel an immense interest in learning specifically about biology and medicine; I feel a serious motivation towards understanding how the human body works; each organ, tissue and every cell interests me; I desire to learn and understand how the diseases manifest, how to diagnose and master each technique to treat them;I am extremely committed to my education and to reaching my goal which is to become a doctor.
When I graduate from high school I'd like to be a surgeon. I want to be a surgeon because it seems like a cool and interesting job. I think it would be an amazing experience to hold a human heart. I first saw this job and got really interested in it because of a T.V. show, Greys Anatomy. This career is important because it saves lives.
One of my future goals and the most important one is to become a doctor. It is my life dream, and the only thing I am seeking for. Doctor is someone capable to save and help others life in ways that are not possible in other careers. Being a doctor for me is not just like any job, it is achieving a dream I have since I was 6 years old. One of the main reasons I picked this major is my family; my family members are almost all doctors, and my dad too.
