Economics:

After my Careers class, I knew that my future career could be in the area of economics, but I lack knowledge and experience about working in these fields. I have always been passionate about current economic issues, and I stay informed by reading reliable sources such as the Economist that give me insight. This internship is an opportunity to apply what I've learned and investigate deeply into the underlying causes behind them. Additionally, I never had exposure to working in a professional environment, and this internship provides me with the chance to experience working as an adult. Therefore, this internship gives me an opportunity to explore careers in these areas and can guide me to a career that is suitable for me. In conclusion, I'm interested in this internship because I have always been passionate about economic issues and they give me an option to explore careers in this field.

By briefly working in economics over the summer, I can comprehensively understand the specific details about economics and share this knowledge with my classmates. Since I am taking classes that involve lots of research and debate in Grade 11 …show more content…
